In this paper, a test was performed to determine whether words in Anchor Text were appropriate as key words. As a result of the test. there were proper words of high weighting factor, while some others did not even appear in the text. therefore, were not appropriate as key words. In order to resolve this problem. a new method was proposed to extract key words. Using the proposed method, inappropriate key words can be removed so that new key words be set, and then, ranking becomes possible with the TFIDF value as a weighting factor of the key word. It was verified that the new method has higher accuracy compared to the previous methods.

Purpose Recently, many researchers have paid much attention to the Artificial Intelligence fields of GVGP, PCG. The paper suggests that the improved MCTS algorithm to apply for the framework can generate better AI agent. Design/methodology/approach As noted, the MCTS generate magnificent performance without an advanced training and in turn, fit applying to the field of GVGP which does not need prior knowledge. The improved and modified MCTS shows that the survival rate is increased interestingly and the search can be done in a significant way. The study was done with 2 different sets. Findings The results showed that the 10 training set which was not given any prior knowledge and the other training set which played a role as validation set generated better performance than the existed MCTS algorithm. Besed upon the results, the further study was suggested.

Most of searching systems used by shopping-mall provide too much information for user requirements or fail to provide appropriate items reflecting customer's preference. This paper aims to design and implement the product searching systems based on customer preference which will enable efficient product selection in the internet shopping-mall. The proposed system consists of user/provider interface, searching and model agent, data management system, and model management system. Especially, we construct the searching pattern database to support fast search using association mining method. And this system includes the customer-oriented decision model which shows the highly preferred products. Input weight value per attribute and preference level should be needed to compute priority grade of preference.

In this study, we proposed design issues and structure of a web mining system and develop a system for the purpose of knowledge integration under world wide web environments resulted from our developing experiences. The developed system consists of three main functions： 1) gathering documents utilizing a search agent; 2) determining similarity coefficients between any two documents from term frequencies; 3) clustering documents based on similarity coefficients. It is believed that the developed system can be utilized for discovery of knowledge in relatively narrow domains such as news classification, index term generation in knowledge management.

In search of new antileukopenia agents, twenty dithiolopyrrolone derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their leukocyte-increasing activities in normal mice. Among the synthesized compounds 4-23, compounds 5 and 6 showed significant leukocyte-increasing activity ( p < 0.01), and compounds 4, 9 and 16 had a moderate effect ( p < 0.05). Compound 5 also displayed stronger leukocyte-increasing activity than that of the positive recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (rhG-CSF). Above all, compound 5 would be a potential antileukopenia agent which deserved further research.

As the well-being or quality of life of a population is the common interests, a lot of people are interested in wines. They are willingness to share wine knowledges with other wine experts on the web. Therefore the study for information retrieval system and inference engines are needed to get relevant search results about wine types and suitable wines for given foods. This paper discusses an approach to the architecture of agent-based semantic web services in wine ontology.

As apart of our continuing search for antistroke agents from the herbal medicinal resources, we examined in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo the possibility of Sunghyangjunggisan and its ingradients as a novel antithrombotic agent. In vitro ADP- and collagen-induced rat platelet aggregations were potently inhibited by Arisaematis Rhizoma, Cinnamomi Cortex and Zingiberis Rhizoma in a dose-dependent manner, but not by Sunghyangjunggisan. However, Sunghyangjunggisan significantly inhibited ex vivo rat platelet aggregation. Arisaematis Rhizoma, Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, and Pinelliae Rhizoma also significantly inhibited ex vivo rat platelet aggregation. Sunghyangjunggisan, Alpiniae Fructus and Zingiberis Rhizoma showed significant protection from death due to pulmonary thrombosis in mice. Therefore, Sunghyangjunggisan can express the antithrombotic action, when it is orally administered.

인터넷과 웹의 팽창과 함께 가용 정보의 양이 폭발적으로 증가하고 있으나 이에 대응되는 효과적이고 효율적인 정보 검색능력의 지원이 없다면 이와 같은 방대한 정보들은 정보 이용자들에 있어 이용 가치가 없으며 이는 곧 정보 범람(information overflow)을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 해결 방안으로써 사용자의 편이성과 정보검색 능력을 극대화할 수 있는 자연어 질의 문맥 구조 기반 개인형 메타 정보검색 엔진을 제안하고자 한다.본 방법론은 자연어 질의를 기본 입력 형태로 하여 자연어 질의의 문맥 구조(context structure) 및 기타 정보 평가 요소들을 이용하는 다척도(multi-criteria)의사 결정 기법 및 개인형 메타 정보 평가(information rating) 방법론으로 구성되어 있으며 이를 위한 시스템 설계를 제안한다.

최근 비교 쇼핑 에이전트 기술을 적용하여 소비자가 원하는 상품을 최적의 가격으로 구매할 수 있도록 여러 쇼핑몰들의 상품 정보를 검색해 주는 비교 쇼핑 사이트들이 등장하고 있다. 이들 비교 쇼핑 사이트들 각각이 인터넷상의 모든 쇼핑몰 정보를 수집하는 것이 아니므로, 소비자들이 상품에 대해 최저 가격을 알기 위해서는 각 비교 쇼핑 사이트를 방문해야 한다. 그리고 온라인 검색의 경우, 상품에 대한 정보를 쇼핑몰들이 출력해 주는 형태대로 보여주기 때문에 소비자가 자기가 원하는 상품에 대한 가격 비교가 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 각 비교 쇼핑 사이트에 동시에 상품 정보 검색을 요청하여 해당 상품의 최저 가격을 제공할 수 있는 메타-비교 쇼핑 에이전트 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 가공 에이전트(Processing agent)가 있어 쇼핑몰들의 출력을 사용자가 원하는 상품에 대한 가격 정보만을 여과하여 보여준다.

This paper reports on an ongoing study investigating the feasibility of using an evolutionary method to develop the rules governing Self-Organised (SO) systems for use in swarms of unmanned aerial vehicles. In general, it is difficult to design swarm systems that follow explicit global behaviour. Unlike optimising a predefined objective function, the solution to the problem is the emergent behaviour in the SO systems which results from simultaneous interactions among agents and between agents and their environment. In this study, evolutionary algorithms are used to investigate their control and effectiveness in synthesising the weighting of different rules on SO emergent behaviour. Both homogeneous swarms and heterogeneous swarms were considered though the results provided are for a case study investigating the simplest problem a homogeneous swarm without mutation. Though simple this study does indicate the potential of the approach.
