Display devices are becoming increasingly important as an interface between humans and machines in the growing information society In display device, PDP(Plasma Display Panel) has many advantages in that wide screen, light weight, thin, wide viewing angle and unaffected by magnetic field. In this paper, modified ramp waveform is suggested by Vt Close Curve, and PDP driving circuit is designed by modified ramp waveform, this modified ramp waveform have more addressing wall voltage better then the old ramp waveform.

현재 안드로이드 마켓에 등록된 고혈압을 주제로 개발 된 앱 들의 경우 혈압 데이터를 안드로이드 단일 환경에서만 관리 하였다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하여 본 연구는 스마트폰과 IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) 두 개의 다른 환경에서 고혈압환자 스스로가 혈압을 편리하게 관리 할 수 있도록 스마트폰 앱을 개발하여 데이터를 복수의 환경에서 관리 하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

This study analyzed the effect of the extracurricular activity management system on user satisfaction. For this purpose, the effects of content, navigation, screen frame, design, interaction, and error handling factors on user satisfaction were analyzed. A survey was conducted on 321 students of K University located in Chungcheongbuk-do, and the research results based on the survey contents are as follows. First, content, navigation, screen frame, interactivity, and error handling, which are major elements of the extracurricular activity management system, showed statistically significant results. Second, interactivity and error handling were found to have the greatest influence on the factors affecting user satisfaction of the extracurricular activity management system. In this study, it was found that the interaction of the whole system including contents is important for continuous improvement of the extracurricular activity management system, and that it has a positive effect on user satisfaction when prompt error handling is possible.

Field Emission display (FEDs) require enhancement in both driving methods and process techniques to improve the display image quality. However, from the point of view of manufacturing, it is difficult to find methods and techniques to realize low cost manufacturing. New and simple color phosphor screen designs were suggested with non-crossed electrode lines and full color anode panels for small area displays were demonstrated. To avoid unwanted reaction with gases produced from phosphors in a high vacuum glass container, a very thin polyimide layer was coated on the phosphor screen. Moreover, to improve the display image quality, black matrix composed of inorganic materials was fabricated. This paper describes the performance and characteristics of the new full color anode panels.

This study was conducted to provide basic data for the design of shading facility of greenhouse. The proper distance between external shading screen and roof surface, transmissivity of shading materials, and shading effects of external and internal shadings were analyzed. About a distance of 10 cm between inclined external shading screen and roof surface was enough to guarantee the external shading effect in the greenhouse without roof vent. The inside temperature of greenhouse installed with 85% internal shading screen was lower the maximum of 4$^{\circ}C$ and mean of 2$^{\circ}C$ than that with 55% internal shading screen in both natural ventilation and no ventilation condition. The difference of soil temperature between shading and no shading greenhouse was great, but the difference by shading rate or shading method was small. The performance of external shading for controlling inside temperature down was superior to that of the internal shading. The externally inclined shading screen parallel to the roof surface of greenhouse was more effective than the externally horizontal shading screen in controlling inside temperature of greenhouse without roof vent.

A 2(pedagogical agent: with vs. without) × 2(on-screen text: with vs. without) between-subject design was used in this study to investigate the effects of pedagogical agent and redundant on-screen text on video learning. In the case of the educational video without redundant on-screen text, there was no difference in social presence, satisfaction, and intention to continue learning regardless of the presence of a pedagogical agent. However, when the educational video contained redundant on-screen text, participants who watched educational video with pedagogical agent perceived higher social presence, satisfaction and intention to continue. In terms of academic achievement, no difference was found whether redundant on-screen text was contained or not. It supports some of the previous studies on the reverse-redundancy effects, suggesting that the inclusion of redundant text does not necessarily cause the reduction of learning outcomes. Video learning shows a higher dropout rate than face-to-face learning. Therefore, it is particularly important to understand how to strengthen interactions with learners and motivate them to keep themselves engaged in learning. This study discussed whether pedagogical agent and on-screen text are factors that induce continuous participation of learners in video learning.

The propose of this study analyze an expression method of a surface in commercial buildings, and it is to show an example of a surface design in Manhattan. In particular, I focus on the following three categories : representation element of surface image : materials and structure method, the property of transparency, and an electronic surface and media screen. Unlike the past era in which surface design in commercial buildings was viewed just as a mean ornament, it has become more important in the presently era because diverse expression technologies in surface design makes architects express there creative ideas. Besides, the diversity of surface design expands the concept of cultural space as it provides various graphic element that human desire for multi-cultures. So diversity of surface will accelerate.

This paper analyzes the design and usability of maternal notebook mobile application and suggests the improvement direction of the application. The researcher compared and analyzed the functions of maternal notebook applications, conducted user interviews and expert evaluations. The conclusions of this study are the use of appropriate information volume, proportional screen division focusing on main functions, the use of GNB format of main menus, the prohibition of double menu configuration, the use of color consistent with the image of the service, the use of few font sizes, the use of appropriate colors in typography, the use of rich icons with uniform design, card format, list format, but also timeline and infographic forms that make rich user interface design. Maternal notebook application research is expected to be an important reference for research on similar mobile applications with complex functions such as information provision, user history, and community, along with improved research in healthcare design.

With a history of over 100 years, animation is an art of film and television, and a diversified special form of art as well. Animation scene design is not just about scenic painting but also a time-space formative art that serves for film and television animation, presents story plots, unveils dramatic conflicts and depicts character personalities. Scene design requires both high creativity and artistry. Scene design shall cover the living places, social environment, natural environment and historical environment where the characters live. The use of color is an important part in animation creation. In terms of scene design, it plays a significant role in building up the scene atmosphere, promote the plot and enriching screen contents. Focused on Uproar in Heaven-a classic Chinese animation, this paper analyzes the traditional characteristics of Chinese animation scene color and discusses the application and development of color.

This research provide the basic information to enhance the user-orientedness of usability design guidelines for software products and an effective empirical guidance to classify design attributes of internet shopping mall sites. The results of analysis show that design attributes can be classified into the procedural attribute group, the shopping tool attribute group, the visual attribute group, linguistic attribute group, and others. The results show that shopping tool attribute group can be divided further into the search tool attribute group and purchase tool attribute group and that the visual attribute group can be divided further into the screen condition attribute group and the character legibility attribute group. The research reveals that when designers design software interfaces and features they should take the compound effect of a group of design attributes into consideration to enhance the usability of the system.
