Designing mobile Interfaces is fundamentally different from designing online interfaces. Not only are there differences in underlying technologies, but also in the way people use mobile Interfaces. If these differences are not taken into account in designing mobile interfaces, mobile services are likely to fail. If mobile services do not deliver what people want, these services will fail no matter how excellent the underlying technology is. The user interface design commonly used in mobile services is based on multi-layered approach, which is not very user-friendly. A well designed single layered user Interface will be more user friendly than the conventional one and it will be having edge over others. However, it is quite difficult to Provide a single layered user Interface in a small screen. This study aims at examining how design attributes of mobile interfaces affect customer preferences. In order to explore customer preferences to each design attribute of mobile interfaces, we measure and analyze customer's WTP (Willingness To Pay) toward their different interface designs. Ultimately, throughout the study, we try to answer how to design mobile interfaces in small screen of mobile devices. In addition, we propose an optimal design solution that customers likely prefer.
This paper shows the need to study the commercialized color book game screen composition and manipulation interface type in order to enhance the utilization of the serious game mobile coloring book game, which is utilized from the learning of color sense in modern people and children to the hobby life of adults or old people. For the healing of modern people, we are going to look at the design configuration of game screen interfaces in simple and fun mobile coloring book games, and propose a new way to improve interface design that improves uncomfortable design by organizing and analyzing basic interface UI design types.
The productivity of land based seawater fish farm has been decreased because of unexpected outbreaks of diseases caused by the contaminated inlet seawater. Sometimes unfiltered/untreated outlet seawater from the land based seawater fish farm has created serious environmental problem. In the needs of treatment systems for the inlet and outlet seawater, the researchers have developed two different systems, The purpose of this study is to design and test two treatment systems, the screen filter for inlet seawater and drum filter for outlet seawater, on the basis of concept of system design and automatization. After developing two systems, an experiment has been conducted with two systems and collected data to improve design and efficiency of the system. In this study, detailed design and efficiency of the system could be improved by the programmable logic controller (PLC).

To perform the navigation functions more efficiently, the navigation menu structure should be provided easy to understand to the driver in the vehicle environment that is restricted by driving workload, According to these conditions, to design better navigation interface, it is important to study on the navigation menu structure that is depend on the screen size and the information width and depth. Therefore, in this study we provided the different menu structures of 7-inch touchscreen LCD and 4-inch touchscreen LCD to the driver respectively in the driving simulator. Then, we compared the preference of each menu structures with the different touchscreen LCD.

A novel bumping process using solder bump maker (SBM) is developed for fine-pitch flip chip bonding. It features maskless screen printing process. A selective solder bumping mechanism without the mask is based on the material design of SBM. Maskless screen printing process can implement easily a fine-pitch, low-cost, and lead-free solder-on-pad (SoP) technology. Its another advantage is ternary or quaternary lead-free SoP can be formed easily. The process includes two main steps: one is the thermally activated aggregation of solder powder on the metal pads on a substrate and the other is the reflow of the deposited powder on the pads. Only a small quantity of solder powder adjacent to the pads can join the first step, so a quite uniform SoP array on the substrate can be easily obtained regardless of the pad configurations. Through this process, an SoP array on an organic substrate with a pitch of 130 ${\mu}m$ is, successfully, formed.

Piezoelectric vibrators can be good replacements of electric motors to excite touch screen of a mobile device owing to small volume and low power consumption. One problem to be solved yet for real application is larger excitation force or moment than available currently. More efficient excitation by a piezoelectric vibrator could be achieved by operating at one of resonance frequencies of the system, which must also be as close as possible to frequency range where index finger is most sensitive and increasing transmission force or moment at that frequency. In this study, dynamic models are derived for the piezoelectric exciter and an adhesive viscoelastic layer, which connect the exciter to the screen. The adhesive layer is modeled as distributed stiffness by considering its geometric shape to relative to the piezoelectric exciter. Then, equations of motion for the piezoelectric exciter and the adhesive layer are derived using Hamilton's principle. Based on this model, dynamic characteristics of the exciter will be designed to maximize the force or moment transmitted onto the screen structure.

Lately, intensifying screen of the $CaWO_4$ is used to medical treatment and diagnosis of the image. In this paper, we investigated transmission fraction and mass attenuation coefficient of $CaWO_4$ screen about diagnostic x-ray of low energy using MCNP 4C code. Experimentally, for 0.9 mm-$CaWO_4$ screen, the absorbable rate of diagnostic x-ray is more than 95%. according to kVp, the experimental value of mass attenuation coefficient is in a1most agreement with an corrected estimate value of MCNP and the deviation of experimental values is less than ${\pm}7%$. Using the MCNP code through this paper, we can make an estimate of signal and design for construction of the CaWO4/a-Se based digital x-ray image detector and make a good use of the foundation data for development of other materials.

We present the design and implementation of a novel anti-malware system called SplitScreen. SplitScreen performs an additional screening step prior to the signature matching phase found in existing approaches. The screening step filters out most non-infected files (90%) and also identifiesmalware signatures that are not of interest (99%). The screening step significantly improves end-to-end performance because safe files are quickly identified and are not processed further, and malware files can subsequently be scanned using only the signatures that are necessary. Our approach naturally leads to a network-based anti-malware solution in which clients only receive signatures they needed, not every malware signature ever created as with current approaches. We have implemented SplitScreen as an extension to ClamAV, the most popular open source anti-malware software. For the current number of signatures, our implementation is $2{\times}$ faster and requires $2{\times}$ less memory than the original ClamAV. These gaps widen as the number of signatures grows.

For silent operation, Roll-Screen has been designed by using piezolelectric ultrasonic motor. To drive the ultrasonic motor, a digitally controlled drive system has been designed by using PLD. And to measure the position and velocity of Roll-Screen, encoder with 36 pulse/revolution is used. This paper proposed a new method for a precise velocity control of ultrasonic motor, in spite of using low-level encoder. The proposed method use a non-fixed sampling time and compensate the initial nonlinear characteristics of ultrasonic motors.
This work is a interactive digital art work which used the multiplex of jitter. It is an work which used a cross concept of two images. This work shows two kinds of images. One is on the wall through the gap of fluorescent lamp screen, and the other is on the fluorescent lamp screen. Two images are intercepted and comes out to the length as the multiplex of the jitter. The appearance of the spectator be recognized on the fluorescent lamp screen or on the wall, by two branch image which comes out intersecting of a length with multiplex function of the jitter. Two branch features of the image which it produces and the spectator which is input at real-time is equally divided, or in impression of juxtaposition goes in the spectator. It expresses the duplicity of the human being, with physical existence space divides the time space which we feel and there is a governing grammar which is different with each other and to express the thing it becomes. It used the image of the screen which it produces with the fluorescent lamp and cross concept.
