  • At th first time in 1985, Tetris appeared, it became game that are loved to many users until now. Existent Tetris employed way to give score according to number of that is destroyed whenever line are destroyed, and give advantage about serial attack and so on, But, these score calculation method gave so fixed and simple pattern. In this paper, We design and implement the new tetris game System by score calculation method per level that Is different with existent method. That Is, this method is to compare present and before with number of destroyed line and give advantage in basis score, Also, It is going to permit strategic utilization of still more developed tetris than existent tetris using score calculation method per level.

  • The propensity score method is used to minimize the bias level in social survey, which comes from nonresponse. The theoretical concept and the background of the propensity score method is discussed first. The propensity score method was first applied in the epidemiology observational study. I have summarized the process of the three propensity score methods that were used to reduce estimation bias in this study. Matching by propensity score is applied to the relatively large control group. Subclassification has the advantage of using whole control group data and regression adjustment is applied to multiple covariates as well as propensity score of each unit is computable and usable. Lastly, the application procedures of propensity score method to reduce the nonresponse bias is suggested and its applicability to real situation is reviewed with the existing data.

  • The propensity score matching method is a statistical method used to reduce selection bias in observational studies and to show effects similar to random allocation. There are many observational studies in dentistry research, and differences in baseline covariates between the control and case groups affect the outcome. In order to reduce the bias due to confounding variables, the propensity scores are used by equating groups based on the baseline covariates. This method is effective, especially when there are many covariates or the sample size is small. In this paper, the propensity score matching method was explained in a simple way with a dental example by using R software. This simulated data were obtained from one of retrospective study. The control group and the case group were matched according to the propensity score and compared before and after treatment. The propensity score matching method could be an alternative to compensate for the disadvantage of the observation study by reducing the bias based on the covariates with the propensity score.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of integrated pest management (IPM) with 3point 5score microscopic monitoring method for laying farms infected with poultry red mites. A total of 8 laying farms infected with poultry red mites were divided into two treatments: 1) integrated pest management with 3point 5score microscopic monitoring method and 2) normal pest management with 3point 5score microscopic monitoring method. The results revealed that there is no significant difference between the groups with respect to the score of poultry red mites not only regardless of disinfection for the laying farms but also from week 4 to week 20 (P>0.05). However, the farm with IPM had a lower (P<0.05) score than those with the normal pest management method on week 24. Based on the result of the present study, controlling the presence of poultry red mites using IPM, along with consistent monitoring and supplementation using the 3point 5score microscopic monitoring method, is deemed effective in reducing the ultimately targeted infection rate of poultry red mites.

  • The most popular protein structure prediction method is comparative modeling. To guarantee accurate comparative modeling, the sequence alignment between a query protein and a template should be accurate. Although choosing the best template based on the protein sequence alignments is most critical to perform more accurate fold-recognition in comparative modeling, even more critical is the sequence alignment quality. Contrast to a lot of attention to developing a method for choosing the best template, prediction of alignment accuracy has not gained much interest. Here, we develop a method for prediction of the shift score, a recently proposed measure for alignment quality. We apply support vector regression (SVR) to predict shift score. The alignment between a query protein and a template protein of length n in our own library is transformed into an input vector of length n +2. Structural alignments are assumed to be the best alignment, and SVR is trained to predict the shift score between structural alignment and profile-profile alignment of a query protein to a template protein. The performance is assessed by Pearson correlation coefficient. The trained SVR predicts shift score with the correlation between observed and predicted shift score of 0.80.

  • ESC has been used as a tool for evaluating overall performance of firms. ESC focuses mainly on building a balanced viewpoint comprising perspectives and their metrics. It is, therefore, difficult to value overall strategic achievements of a company derived by consolidating various perspectives and metrics. Because of the absence of a method for consolidating ESC metrics and computing total score based on these metrics, it is difficult to evaluate whole strategic performance and find core obstacle parts of performance. In this paper, we suggest a method of normalizing a numerical value of metrics with different units, and calculating the total score of ESC metrics. We conduct a case study of evaluating the effectiveness of CRM to illustrate the applicability and feasibility of the suggested method.

  • Purpose: Recently, propensity score matching method is used in a large number of research paper, nonetheless, there is no research using fitness test of before and after propensity score matching. Therefore, comparing fitness of before and after propensity score matching by logistic regression analysis using data from 'online survey of adolescent health' is the main significance of this research. Method: Data that has similar propensity in two groups is extracted by using propensity score matching then implement logistic regression analysis on before and after matching separately. Results: To test fitness of logistic regression analysis model, we use Model summary, -2Log Likelihood and Hosmer-Lomeshow methods. As a result, it is confirmed that the data after matching is more suitable for logistic regression analysis than data before matching. Conclusion: Therefore, better result which has appropriate fitness will be shown by using propensity score matching shows better result which has better fitness.

  • In this paper we construct prediction intervals for nonlinear time series models using the bootstrap. We compare these prediction intervals to traditional asymptotic prediction intervals using quasi-score estimation function and M-quasi-score estimating function comprising bounded functions. Simulation results show that the bootstrap method leads to improved accuracy. The accuracy of the bootstrap is empirically demonstrated with the consumer price index.
