In this research we diagnosed the actual status of the 7th National science elective curriculum and suggested a way to select and organize the content of the new science elective curriculum. The first science education reform was grounded in the structuralism where the structure of discipline was valued above everything else. On the other hand, the second science education reform suggested alternative interpretations of students' opportunity to learn, putting a brake on the structuralist thinking. According to the survey result, the majority of the science elective courses are in need for revision because the contents are overcrowded, too difficult in light of students' learning readiness, failed to draw students' interest in science, and are overlapped and repeated among the 10th grade science, high school science I and II. In particular, Earth Science II and physics II are the most unfavorable courses among students. Thus, we recommended a fundamental change be made in the new curriculum in addition to the optimization of the content. In this paper, we suggested 'topic-centered content organization' for the science elective course I, i.e., Physics I, Chemistry I, Biology I and Earth Science I that is designed for both science track and non-science track students. Since curriculum provides students with an 'opportunity to learn', a curriculum study should focus on what the 'opportunity to learn' is that students ought to be offered. Based on the result of this study, we recommended one way to select and organize the content of high school elective curriculum.

New curriculum for information and library science is proposed on the notion of the internship and scholarly characteristics. The future of the information and library science is expected as the discipline to synthesize the natural science and the social science. Especially the internship is strongly suggested as the post graduate program. To draw the conclusion. the history of the information and library science and its educational background are analyzed. The states of the historical developments of the information and library science are explained in terms of philosophy. The functional and scholarly environments of the information and library science are also investigated. Secondarily it concludes that the curriculum development for information and library science is not aimed on the skills but on the phenomena.

The purpose of this study was to propose a theoretical model for an integrated medical humanities curriculum based on a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) education framework and to provide a guideline for curriculum integration. Three dimensions of integrated curriculum development are competencies, core contents, and elements of integration. Competencies imply the purpose of the medical humanities of a medical school and the exit outcomes of the curriculum. Core contents imply the goals and objectives of the curriculum. We compared the goals and themes of the medical humanities with core attributes of professionalism. Four elements of integration were proposed: units (cases, problem activities, core contents, disciplines/subjects), types (multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary), contexts of integration (life cycle of patients, scope of society), and stages of student development (from student to doctor). It is expected that this theoretical model for an integrated medical humanities curriculum can be used as a guideline for curriculum development and an evaluation criterion for instructional designers and subject matter experts.

The purpose of this research was to suggest a category and level of national examination for dietitian's license and provide basic data for the development of national examination question by analyzing the current states on the curriculum of national examination for the dietitian's license and correlation with the current states on curriculum and national examination for the dietitian's license. The higher the current states on curriculum, the lower absentee rate and failing rate of the national examination for the dietitian's license. The higher the current states on curriculum, the higher pass rate of the national examination for the dietitian's license. Also, the current states on curriculum were positive relationship with correct answer rates. The higher the educational system, the higher the current states on curriculum. The educational system was negative relationship with the current states on curriculum of 'public health', 'advanced nutrition', 'food science', 'principles of culinary', and 'food sanitary law (p<0.05)'. The correct answers rates of 'institutional foodservice' were significantly positive relationship with the current states on curriculum of 'institutional foodservice (p<0.01)', 'foodservice organization (p<0.01)', 'food sanitation (p<0.05)', and 'practice in foodservice institutions (p<0.01)'. The pass rate was significantly positive relationship with the correct answer rates of 'institutional foodservice (p<0.01)', 'physiology (p<0.01)', 'biochemistry (p<0.01)', 'food sanitary law (p<0.01)', 'food science and preparation (p<0.05)', 'nutrition education (p<0.01)', 'nutrition (p<0.01)', and 'total score (p<0.05)'.

Curriculum is essential for primary and secondary education. The development of the 2022 revised curriculum, which is Korea's national level curriculum has been completed. Nevertheless, the library and information life, which are curriculums for information literacy instruction remain in the structure of the 2009 curriculum. In this study, I analyze the structure and contents of the curriculum for information utilization education in Pennsylvania, USA, identify trends in information literacy instruction, and present the direction of revision of library and information life. The Pennsylvania curriculum for information literacy instruction has an overall structure consisting of long-term transfer goals, big ideas(inquire, include, collaborate, curate, explore, engage), concepts, competencies, and essential questions. In addition, there is a detailed structure consisting of stage l(desired results), stage 2(assessment evidence of learning) and stage (learning plan).
This study explored the organization of high school Home Economics (HE) selective curriculum for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. We critically review the change process of HE curriculum as well as problems based on the understanding of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The results were as follows. First, regarding the characteristic consistently shown in the revision process of high school curriculum, the huge increase of the number of subject organized resulted from the intensification of the selective-centered curriculum strengthening the choice for school and students. However, HE was reduced to some 'Technology-Home Economics' subject and a single subject 'HE Science' as a selective subject was subsequently combined with Technology after the $7^{th}$ curriculum period. Consequently, HE hard to organize the career-focused curriculum, emphasized by the revised 2015 curriculum due to the insufficient number of subjects. Second, the choice of HE in high school curriculum should be expanded as measures to organize the HE curriculum of high school to cope with changes that result from the Fourth Industrial Revolution. For the operation of the career-focused curriculum, career selective subjects and specialized subjects should be more diversely established. In accordance with changes in a future society that results from the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the HE education community should be prepared in advance to be organized as a selective subject when revising a subsequent curriculum, by newly establishing subjects necessary to students through collective intelligence and deliberation with pedagogists and scholars for subject content as well as by producing/getting approval from government-recognized textbooks.
