Establishment of Critical Ranges of Inorganic Nutrition Contents in Leaves of Watermelon(Cucurbita citrullus L.) in Protected Cultivation (시설재배 수박 엽 적정양분함량 설정)

  • This study was carried out to elucidate the relationship between yields and inorganic nutrient contents, and then establish of critical range of inorganic nutrient contents in leaves of watermelon in protected cultivation in Gochang from 2004 to 2006. In considering the yields and nutrient contents of watermelon, the critical ranges of macro-nutrient contents in leaves of watermelon at 20 days after transplanting were in N 5.0~6.6%, P 0.30~0.57%, K 3.5~4.2%, Ca 1.7~3.8% and Mg 0.20~0.42%, respectively. The critical ranges of micronutrient content, such as Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu and B, were not found the regular trend with different growth stages. However, the critical range of micronutrient contents in leaves of watermelon at 20 day after transplanting were in Fe 96~128, Mn 67~201, Zn 40~60, Cu 6~9 및 B $41{\sim}82mg\;kg^{-1}$, respectively. Finally, these results might be used at the indicator for critical nutrient contents for diagnosis of nutritional disorder in watermelon in protected cultivation.

Isolation, Identification and Determination of Antioxidant in Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Rhizome

  • The antioxidative compounds and antioxidant contents of ginger (Zingiber officinale) rhizomes were determined. Substances reextracted using ethyl acetate from crude methanol extract of fresh ginger rhizome were separated through thin layer chromatography. Ten phenolic antioxidative bands were visualized through color reactions using ferric chloride-potassium ferricyanide and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylbydrazyl (DPPH). The antioxidative compounds were purified through preparative TLC and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), among which, five antioxidants were identified as 4-, 6-, 8-. and 10-gingerols and 6-shogaol on the basis of their molecular weights determined through LC-MS. As shown in experiments using DPPH free radicals, 6-Gingerol and PT4-HP8 (unknown) were revealed to be more efficient than BHT (butylated hydroxy toluene). Contents of gingerols were determined through reverse phase HPLC. Total gingerol contents (sum of 6-,8-, and 10-gingerols) in rhizomes of different ginger varieties varied significantly. The HG55 (collected at Wanju district in Korea) and the HG52 (imported from Brazil) showed the highest gingerol contents.

Processing and Quality Characteristics of Rapidly Fermented, High Purity Anchovy Engraulis japonicus Sauce with Salt Fermented Anchovy Material (멸치(Engraulis japonicus) 염장발효덧을 이용한 속성발효 고순도 멸치액젓의 제조 및 품질)

  • To develop a value-added anchovy Engraulis japonicus sauce, we examined processing conditions and quality characteristics of rapidly fermented, high purity anchovy sauce (RPAS) by adding 30% (w/w) intermediate salt-fermented anchovy material. RPAS had higher total nitrogen and amino nitrogen contents, and lower salinity than traditional anchovy sauce (TAS). The total amino acid contents of RPAS and TAS were 17,626.8 and 12,808.2 mg/100 g, respectively, and the major amino acids were alanine, glutamic acid, lysine, cystine, valine, and leucine. The histamine contents of RPAS and TAS were 12.6 and 25.2 mg/100 g, respectively, and the protease activity levels were 0.851 and 0.595 unit/mg, respectively. These results demonstrate that RPAS was more flavorful, and could shorten the salt-fermentation period by more than half compared to TAS, and can serve as a high-end fish sauce.

  • 2007년 12월 7일 발생한 허베이스피리트호 원유 유출사고를 계기로 국가 해양유류오염사고 대응체제 문제점이 부각되었고 이에 따라 해양 유류사고에 대한 대응 및 오염 진단, 복원을 지원할 수 있는 과학기술지원 체계 구축이 제기되었다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 해양오염 예측을 위해 필요한 해양 및 기상 예측 정보 통합 시스템을 소개한다. 본 시스템에서는 그리드 기술을 통한 해양 및 기상 예측 모델 수행에 필요한 사용자 환경 및 고성능 컴퓨팅 자원을 제공하고, 이를 통해 생성된 예측 자료를 통해 실시간 해양 오염 예측 정보를 생성하여 제공한다.

  • The RSS which is a kind of syndication technology enables a part or the whole of the content which it provides from web site to be able to be used in different service. It is protocol to summarize and share various contents on web site. This Paper propose the ways to implement system to aggregate RSS feed and archive it and the services using it. Also, the users register the channel RSS to the RSS aggregator system and recommend it. It can drive to share of knowledge between researchers.

  • 본 연구는 분야별 핵심 연구자를 선별하기 위한 방법론을 다루고자 한다. 핵심 연구자를 선별할 때 가장 흔히 사용하는 방법 중에 하나는 높은 피인용회수(Timces Cited)를 갖는 연구자를 찾는 것이지만 피인용회수가 곧 연구 성과의 순위를 대변한다고 볼 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 특정 학문 분야에서의 연구 성과에 대한 분석을 토대로 핵심연구자를 선별하기 위한 요인들을 수립하고 검증하고자 한다.

  • This study was carried out to elucidate the relationship between yields and inorganic nutrient contents, and then establish of critical range of inorganic nutrient contents in leaves of net melon in protected cultivation in Naju from 2004 to 2006. In considering the yields and nutrient contents of net melon, the critical ranges of macro-nutrient contents in leaves of net melon at 25 days after transplanting were in N 3.4~4.8%, P 0.4~0.7%, K 3.4~5.1%, Ca 2.7~4.1% and Mg 0.6~0.8%, respectably. The critical ranges of micronutrient content, such as Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu and B, were not found the regular trend with different growth stages. However, the critical range of micronutrient contents in leaves of net melon at 25 days after transplanting were in Fe 102~164, Mn 52~116, Zn 28~98, Cu 7~15 and B $36{\sim}72mg\;kg^{-1}$, respectably. Finally, these results might be used at the indicator for critical nutrient contents for diagnosis of nutritional disorder in net melon in protected cultivation.
