The purpose of this study is to explore the current situation and problems in standardizing knowledge information and information technology in the KISTI, and collect the basic data necessary for establishing the national information infrastructure. Through a survey and interviews with nine departments of the Information Services Sector of the KISTI, data were collected regarding the management and exchange of information and the operation of communication networks. According to the analysis of fifty KISTI databases and their operation, tasks to be first standardized include Classification of ST resources, Metadata, Date modeling, Data format, DBMS, ST terminology, and Retrieval protocol.

본 논문에서는 Differentiated Services (DiffServ) 망의 edge 라우터에 적용되는 3 단계 트래픽 제어기 (3 phased traffic conditioner : 3PTC)를 제안하였다. 제안된 3PTC 는 TCP 트래픽의 예약된 대역폭 (reserved rate) 의 차이, UDP/TCP의 상호작용, RTT 및 집합된 트래픽을 구성하는 작은 트래픽 수에 의한 영향을 최소화함으로써, DiffServ 망에서 제공하는 Assured Services 사용자들에게 공정한 대역폭을 보장해 줄 수 있다. 3PTC 는 토큰버킷 단계, 확률결정 단계, 그리고 버퍼관리 단계로 이루어져 있다.

최근 계산과학 분야의 웹 기반 클라우드 시뮬레이션 서비스를 제공하고 있는 해외의 업체들을 중심으로 오픈 소스를 통한 웹 브라우저에서 형상설계와 전후처리, 그리고 해석 수행의 최신 동향을 살펴본다. 또한 온라인상의 방대한 스토리지를 기반으로 사용자들의 해석 진행 과정과 결과의 공유를 통해 의미 있는 데이터를 축적하고, 커뮤니티를 통해 사용자들이 서로 교류하는 환경이 가지는 장점을 살펴보며 이를 바탕으로 앞으로 웹 기반 공학 시뮬레이션 플랫폼 서비스의 진행 방향을 제시한다.

컴퓨터에서 사용자의 usage정보는 Accounting의 기본 자료가 될 뿐만 아니라 그리드 컴퓨팅과 같은 환경에서도 교환되어지는 중요한 자료이다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 컴퓨팅 시스템으로부터 usage정보를 수집하여 제공하는 시스템을 구축하였다. 이 서버에서의 특징은 정보관리를 위하여 일반적으로 사용하는 DB를 사용하지 않고 XML파일로 처리한 것이다. 이렇게 함으로써 서버는 보다 단순해 질 수 있으며, 개인이나 중소 규모의 전산센터에서도 쉽게 usage정보 제공이 가능해 질 수 있다.

우리는 가정이나 직장 등에서 PC를 이용하여 인터넷에 쉽게 접근할 수 있게 되었다. 많은 수의 분산된 PC를 활용하여 의미가 있는 일을 하고자 하는 노력이 시도되고 있으며, 교육 분야에서도 정보통신기술(ICT)을 활용한 교육에 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 기반의 문제풀이형 학습 시스템을 위해 통일된 XML 데이터 구조를 정의하였다. 웹상에서 학습정보를 XML로 저장하고 교환함으로써 수정없이 재사용할 수 있게 되었다. 분산된 다수의 서버들이 표준화된 학습정보문서의 체계에 따라 학습 정보를 제공한다면, 쉽게 대규모의 가상 학습시스템의 구축이 가능하다.

다수의 노드로 구성된 클러스터 시스템을 관리하기 위하여 모니터링 툴(S/W)이 필요하지만, 자신의 시스템에 적합한 툴을 확보한다는 것은 쉽지가 않다. 본 문서는 소규모 SMP 클러스터 시스템을 위하여 개발한 모니터링 툴(my-mon)과 성능 시험 내용을 기술하였다. ganglia와 같이 웹기반의 툴들도 있지만 필요한 기능들로 구성된 my-mon은 다양한 구조의 클러스터 시스템을 관리하는 관리자에게는 ?춤형 클러스터 모니터링 툴이다. infiniband 네트워크를 계산노드간의 스위치로 구성된 소규모 SMP 클러스터 시스템용 모니터링 툴의 개발 내용과 툴의 성능(CPU사용율과 메모리 사용량)을 측정하여 웹기반의 툴들과 비교한 결과를 기술하였다.

Food security and its sovereignty have become among the most important key issues due to changes in the international situation. Regarding these issues, many countries now give attention to smart agriculture, which would increase production efficiency through a data-based system. The Korean government also has attempted to promote smart agriculture by 1) implementing the agri-food ICT (information and communications technology) policy, and 2) increasing the R&D budget by more than double in recent years. However, its endeavors only centered on large-scale farms which a number of domestic farmers rarely utilized in their farming. To promote smart agriculture more effectively, we diagnosed the government R&D trends of smart agriculture based on NTIS (National Science and Technology Information Service) data. We identified the research trends for each R&D period by analyzing three pieces of information: the regional information, research actor, and topic. Based on these findings, we could suggest systematic R&D directions and implications.

나노기술은 특정의 기술 영역에 속하는 것이 아닌, 나노크기 수준의 물질(소재)이나 부품 또는 소자, 시스템(기계) 등 거의 모든 기술 영역과 관련되어 있는, 응용의 성격이 강한 기술이다. 나노기술 개발 수준은 국가 간, 혹은 기업 간의 경쟁력을 결정할 중요한 요인 중 하나로 자리잡을 것이며, 나노기술의 현황과 발전 양상의 분석은 기술 기반 산업의 미래를 위해서도 꼭 필요한 연구의 주제일 것이다. 본 연구에서는 논문의 서지정보를 통해 최근 국내에서 연구되고 있는 나노기술 중 나노소재 분야의 융합도를 측정하고, 그 결과에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 나노소재기술과의 융합은 주로 다학제과학과 화학, 물리학 등 응용분야가 넓고 여러 학문을 포괄적으로 수용할 수 있는 학문에서 많이 발생하였고, 그 외 전기전자, 엔지니어링 분야와의 융합 역시 발견할 수 있었다. 내부중심성과 융합도와의 연관성에 대한 연구가 더욱 활발히 이루어져 그 설명력을 높일 수 있다면, 현실적합성을 획득하여 과학정책과 기술발전에 방향성을 제시하는 하나의 모형이 될 수 있으리라 기대한다.

As shown in Wikipedia, tagging or cross-linking through major keywords in a document collection improves not only the readability of documents but also responsive and adaptive navigation among related documents. In recent years, the Semantic Web has increased the importance of social tagging as a key feature of the Web 2.0 and, as its crucial phenotype, Tag Cloud has emerged to the public. In this paper we provide an efficient method of automated in-text keyword tagging based on large-scale controlled term collection or keyword dictionary, where the computational complexity of O(mN) - if a pattern matching algorithm is used - can be reduced to O(mlogN) - if an Information Retrieval technique is adopted - while m is the length of target document and N is the total number of candidate terms to be tagged. The result shows that automatic in-text tagging with keywords filtered by Information Retrieval speeds up to about 6 $\sim$ 40 times compared with the fastest pattern matching algorithm.

This study aimed to develop an evaluation framework for public portal and private portal through user's perception survey. In order to specify the evaluation framework, this study chose yesKISTI and Google as a public portal and a private portal respectively. This study reviewed previous studies to develop indicators to evaluate of public and private portals and developed a framework to provide new services for public portals.
