This paper proposes a mobile-optimized pedestrian detection method using Cascade of HOG(Histograms of Oriented Gradients) for ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System) on smartphones. In order to use the limited resource of mobile platforms efficiently, the method is implemented by the OpenCL(Open Computing Language) library, and its processing time is reduced in the following two aspects. Firstly, the method sets a program build option specifically and adjusts work group sizes as variety of kernels in the host code. Secondly, it utilizes local memory and a LUT(Look-Up Table) in the kernel code to accelerate the program. For performance evaluation, the developed algorithm is compared with the mobile CPU-based OpenCV(Open Computer Vision) for Android function. The experimental results show that the processing speed is 25% faster than the OpenCV hogcascade.

In this paper to cope with the reduction of products life-cycle as the variety of products along with the various demands of consumers, a virtual simulator is developed to make the changeover of manufacturing line efficient to embody a virtual simulation similar to a real manufacturing line. The developed virtual simulator can design a layout of a factory and make the time scheduling. Every factory has one simulator so that one product can be manufactured in the factories to use them as virtual factories. We suggest a scheme that heightens the agility to the diversity of manufacturing models by making the information of manufacturing lines and products models to be shared. The developed unit simulator can construct a proper virtual manufacturing line along with the required process of products using several kinds of operator and work cell. A user with the simulator can utilize an interface that makes one to manage the separate task process for each manu(acturing module, change operator components and work cells, and easily teach tasks of each task module. The developed simulator was made for users convenience by Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 that can develop a program supplying graphic user interface environment and by OpenGL of the Silicon Graphics as a graphic library to embody 3D graphic environment. Also, we show that the simulator can be used efficiently for the agile manufacturing by the communication among the factories being linked by TCP/IP and a hybrid database system made by a hierarchical model and a relational model being developed to standardize the data information.

This paper introduces a failure analysis procedure that underpins real-time fault prognosis. In the previous study, we developed a systematic eventization procedure which makes it possible to reduce the original data size into a manageable one in the form of event logs and eventually to extract failure patterns efficiently from the reduced data. Failure patterns are then extracted in the form of event sequences by sequence-mining algorithms, (e.g. FP-Tree algorithm). Extracted patterns are stored in a failure pattern library, and eventually, we use the stored failure pattern information to predict potential failures. The two practical case studies (marine diesel engine and SIRIUS-II car engine) provide empirical support for the performance of the proposed failure analysis procedure. This procedure can be easily extended for wide application fields of failure analysis such as vehicle and machine diagnostics. Furthermore, it can be applied to human health monitoring & prognosis, so that human body signals could be efficiently analyzed.

Game engine, materialized by a library or a shape of the module, is providing many ability for developing game. Because of the high cost of developing game, game engine plays a big role on game developing urea by how it provide it's efficiency. In other words, the message scheme, which occur often while carrying out the game, highly affect on how fast it manage, its efficiency, and system's efficiency. Also, it is one of the important urea that needed to be considered while developing the game engine. In this paper, we suggest managing the message scheme technique by Lua script language, proving its suggested technique by developing $O_2$ engine itself, and analyzing it's capacity in order to show its efficiency.

The translationally controlled tumor protein (TCTP), also known as the IgE-dependent histamine releasing factor (HRF), was used in the yeast two-hybrid system to screen the interacting molecules. We obtained the N-terminus truncated rat fast myosin alkai light chain from the rat skeletal muscle cDNA library in the screening. Since either TCTP/HRF or the myosin light chain is known to be associated with histamine secretion from RBL-2H3 cells, we investigated the possible interaction between rat TCTP/HRF and nonmuscle myosin light chain in these cells. We used affinity chromatography and coimmunoprecipitation. Our data suggests that HRF and the myosin light chain interact, which may play an important role in histamine release in RBL-2H3 cells.

DNP3(Distributed Network Protocol) is one of the most representative protocols which is used in SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. IEC 62351 is listing the integrity, confidentiality, availability and non-repudiation or accountability as the security requirement. However, IEEE Std. 1815 that is DNP3 standards does not define a mechanism for non-repudiation or accountability. In this paper, we propose a non-repudiation of origin technique about the sender of critical ASDU and implement the proposed scheme using software such as OpenSSL and SCADA source code library.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate commonly-used-pattern-identifications and to understand herbal medicine treatment for psoriasis based on recent clinical studies. Methods Keyword 'psoriasis' was used to search articles in National Digital Science Library (NDSL), Korean Traditional Knowledge Portal (KTKP), Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System (OASIS) and Research Information Sharing Service (RISS). 19 relevant articles were reported between 2006 - 2016, and were obtained and reviewed. Results Among the 19 articles, the most commonly-used-pattern-identifications were 'blood heat pattern'. 'Gunsun-bang', 'Bangpungtongsungsan-gami'. Also, based on the search results, 'Yangdokbaekho-tang' were more frequently prescribed than other herbal medicines, and ingredients such as, Glycyrrhizae Radix (甘草), Saposhnikoviae Radix (防風) and Rehmanniae Radix (生地黃) were used repeatedly in those prescriptions. Conclusions This study showed what pattern identifications there are, and what herbal medicines are often used in clinical treatments. Developing new form of herbal medicines are also going to be possible with further research.

Interoperability has been the problem of CAD/CAM systems. Starting from 1980's, national and international organizations have addressed the issue through development and release of standards for the exchange of geometric and nongeometric design data. To CAD/CAM vendors, the task of interpreting and implementing these standards falls into their products. This task is a balancing action between users' needs, available development resources, and the technical specifications of standards. This paper explores an area of CAD/CAM systems development, particularly the implementation of the effective exchange files translators'. A new approach is introduced, which proposes to enclose all the translation operations concerning each exchange format to a separate DLL, thus making a 'plug-in.' Then, this plug-in could be used together with the CAD/CAM system or with specialized translation software. This approach allows to create new translators rapidly and to gain the reliable, high-efficiency, and reusable program code. The second part of the paper concerns the possible problems of translators' development. These difficulties often come from the exchange standards' misunderstanding or ambiguity in standards. All examples come from the authors' practice experiences of dealing with CAD/CAM systems.

Purpose: This systematic review was conducted to evaluate the clinical effects of Injinho-tang on hyperbilirubinemia in hepatobiliary disorders. Methods: We searched for randomized controlled clinical trials that had administered Injinho-tang as an intervention in the following medical databases: Public/Publisher MEDLINE (PubMed), Excerpta Medica dataBASE (EMBASE), Cochrane library, Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), ScienceON, Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System (OASIS), and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). Among the retrieved studies, only trials that met the inclusion criteria were selected, and serum total bilirubin values were extracted and analyzed from the finally selected trials. Results: The serum total bilirubin values of 1,302 patients with various hepatobiliary diseases were synthesized through a meta-analysis, which confirmed a decrease in serum total bilirubin of 21.03 𝜇mol/L (95% CI -29.58~-12.49, p<0.01) in the group administered with Injinho-tang compared with the control group. Conclusions: Injinho-tang is effective in alleviating hyperbilirubinemia in hepatobiliary diseases when administered with conventional treatment. However, the potential risk of bias, high heterogeneity among the included trials, and differences in herbal composition are limitations of the results of this meta-analysis.
