Nowadays a lot of schools carry out open education and the school libraries have to seek the ways how they can participate efficiently in the instructional design process in the system of open education. For these purposes, a spatial relationship of school library and the process of cooperative program planning and teaching is investigated with a case study. Cooperative program planning and teaching is a school library service program which has to be developed as an instructional program related to classroom teaching. However the tendency is that teacher-librarians are not active to do it in the open education system.

The aim of this research was to find ways to improve the overall school library management quality and also to help finding solutions to the school library related problems, which could have not been dealt by the individual schools. To achieve the research goal, we analyzed the domestic and foreign cases of the government led supports for the school libraries as well as collaborations between the school libraries and other organizations. We surveyed the principals about the school library operating policies, current status, and requirements as the principals have influence over how the school libraries are managed. One of the findings of the research was that the survey respondents devote their efforts in the collection development but they also required training of the school library staffs. In comparison to the metropolitan and rural areas, the school libraries in the middle to small cities experienced variety of problems in all aspects of their operations. In addition, the middle to small city school libraries had high expectation on the government supports.

The purpose of this study is to provide self-evaluation indicators that each school could judge on its basic conditions for the school library opening to local community. School library opening to local community is one of the significantly operational strategies to contribute to the development of the learning community. But the school library has insufficient resources and support system for their local services. According to the survey teacher librarians who have the experience for their school library opening to local community have considered of deploying teacher librarian as the most important factor. And they asserted emphatically that school library would secure personnel expenses and obtain facilities and resources to provide the stable and systematic service. Also among the school library's educational activities, reading education is considered the most suitable program for the community.

This study tried to identify the reading and library use and requirements of children and young adults with disabilities in school age, and to suggest improvements in library policy, centered on the National Library for the Disabled Unlike the library policy centered on the creation of alternative materials and the establishment of an integrated cataloging system for alternative materials, children and young adults with disabilities mainly use paper books, and 80% of them hardly use the library. This study established a system centered on the special school library and proposed to establish a foundation for enjoying reading culture through curation of books by disability type and developmental age. In addition, based on the development of international standardization of multimedia collections, cooperation with the National Library for Children and Young Adults, and the expansion of librarian, collections, and budgets of special school libraries, linkage with students with disabilities in special classes of general schools was suggested.

An RNase P ribozyme library has been developed as a tool for functional genomics studies. Each clone of this library contains a random 18-mer and the sequence of M1 RNA, the catalytic subunit of RNase P. Repression of target gene expression is thus achieved by the complementary binding of mRNA to the random guide sequence and the successive target cleavage via M1 RNA. Cellular expression of the ribozyme expression was confirmed, and EGFP mRNA was used as a model to demonstrate that the RNase P ribozyme expression system can inhibit the target gene expression. The constructed RNase P ribozyme library has a complexity of $1.4\times10^7$. This novel library system should become a useful in functional genomics, to identify novel gene functions in mammalian cells.

A 3D modeling of urban area can be composed the terrain modeling that can express specific and shape of the terrain and the object modeling such as buildings, trees and facilities which are found in urban areas. Especially in a 3D modeling of building, it is very important to make a unit model by simplifying 3D structure and to take a texture mapping, which can help visualize surface information. In this study, the texture mapping technique, based on library for 3D urban modeling, was used for building modeling. This technique applies the texture map in the form of library which is constructed as building types, and then take mapping to the 3D building frame. For effectively apply, this technique, we classified buildings automatically using LiDAR data and made 3D frame using LiDAR and digital map. To express the realistic building texture, we made the texture library using real building photograph.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem of irregular position school librarians in Korea. The backgrounds and momenta of the problem are searched and the major sufferings of irregular position librarians are presented. To identify characteristics and substantial complications of the problem, it's surface and reverse structure are discussed. Through the discussion, solutions for the problem are scrutinized and reflective attitude which the librarian should keep in their mind are proposed.

The purpose of this study is to suggest practical plans to improve the school library consulting, especially in case of a teacher librarian is not assigned. As a result of analyses, consulting through methods of the School Library Assistant Group lacks spontaneity, expertise, council, and independence. Besides, each office of education operates it as a marketing. A main goal of school consulting is to foster independent problem- solving of individual schools. Accordingly, it is necessary to build an union management system, develop a standard staff manual, construct DLS based on-line consulting, and design educational training programs of consultants for its successful consulting.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the utilization status of the Comprehensive Support System for Reading Education and other Online tools to draw implications for its improvement. The levels of utilization of the system before and after the COVID-19 were compared, in order to analyze the degree of support and the level of contribution of the system to school library education in the COVID-19 situation, where the online platform utilization has been maximized in elementary and secondary education. A questionnaire survey was conducted among teacher librarians to compare the perceptions of the overall online tools and the utilization of the system in the school library education before and after the COVID-19. Requirements for the better system primarily based on teacher librarians' opinions were analyzed. Based on these, it was possible to discover necessary implications for the improvement of the system in order for the system to function as an online platform for school libraries.

It is general for industrial body to adopt information system using ASP(application service provider) model according to the increase of management expense. the change of information system circumstance and the trend of application development cycle. ASP model is a variation on outsourcing system support and services. ASP maintains servers and software for different customers at a centralized location. The purpose of this study examined the feasibility to implement school digital library and information system using ASP model. Based upon the examination, this study is suggested information system of school digital library to aspects of H/W, S/W, components. functions.
