IT Service Management (ITSM) achieves consolidated management for the IT services supporting the acquisition system, and no outside connections can be established with such ITSM. Issues pertaining to the D2B can be addressed to System Q&A or a Call Center for problem-solving. In other words, internal staff can take the necessary measures for problems by directly connecting with ITSM. Currently, diverse innovative technologies are being used in electronics and ubiquitous computing environments. This allows us to create a better world by providing the backbone for remarkable development in our human society in the fields of electronics, devices, computer science, and engineering. Following the expansion of IT services in the military acquisition sector such as Defense Electronic Procurement, military export/import support system, etc., customers' dependence on IT for conducting business with the military or related companies is increasing, including the military's dependence on the same technology for services to the public. Nonetheless, issues pertaining to the simplified/integrated management of complex IT service management systems, including slow system recovery, lack of integrated customer service window, and insufficient information sharing, have become the priority problems that IT managers are required to solve. Therefore, this study conducted research on the integrated management of IT services provided by Korea's national defense acquisition system, which was developed based on the existing system IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v2, and investigated the level of satisfaction with services with focus on ensuring that it can be used for understanding the necessity of the system and its advancement in the future.

Remote sensing allows acquisition of information across a large area without contacting objects, and has thus been rapidly developed by application to different areas. Thus, with the development of remote sensing, satellites are able to rapidly advance in terms of their image resolution. As a result, satellites that use remote sensing have been applied to conduct research across many areas of the world. However, while research on remote sensing is being implemented across various areas, research on data processing is presently insufficient; that is, as satellite resources are further developed, data processing continues to lag behind. Accordingly, this paper discusses plans to maximize the performance of satellite image processing by utilizing the CUDA(Compute Unified Device Architecture) Library of NVIDIA, a parallel processing technique. The discussion in this paper proceeds as follows. First, standard KOMPSAT(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite) images of various sizes are subdivided into five types. NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) is implemented to the subdivided images. Next, ArcMap and the two techniques, each based on CPU or GPU, are used to implement NDVI. The histograms of each image are then compared after each implementation to analyze the different processing speeds when using CPU and GPU. The results indicate that both the CPU version and GPU version images are equal with the ArcMap images, and after the histogram comparison, the NDVI code was correctly implemented. In terms of the processing speed, GPU showed 5 times faster results than CPU. Accordingly, this research shows that a parallel processing technique using CUDA Library can enhance the data processing speed of satellites images, and that this data processing benefits from multiple advanced remote sensing techniques as compared to a simple pixel computation like NDVI.

In this paper, an algorithm of extracting the features of home appliances and automatically building a database to identify home appliances is designed and presented. For the verification, a software library supporting this algorithm is implemented and added to an power management system server, which was already implemented to support real-time monitoring of home appliances' power consumption status and controlling their power. The implemented system consists of a system server and clients, each of which measures the power consumed by a home appliance plugged in it and transmits the information to the server in real-time over a wireless network. Through experiments, it is verified that it is possible to identify any home appliance connected to a specific client.
Randomly selected 435 clones from Acanthamoeba healyi cDNA library were sequenced and a total of 387 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) had been generated. Based on the results of BLAST search, 130 clones (34.4%) were identified as the genes enconding surface Proteins , enzymes for DNA, energy Production or other metabolism, kinases and phosphatases, protease, proteins for signal transduction, structural and cytoskeletal proteins, cell cycle related proteins, transcription factors, transcription and translational machineries, and transporter proteins. Most of the genes (88.5%) are newly identified in the genus Acanthamoeba. Although 15 clones matched the genes of Acanthamoeba located in the public databases, twelve clones were actin gene which was the most frequently expressed gene in this study. These ESTs of Acanthamoeba would give valuable information to study the organism as a model system for biological investigations such as cytoskeleton or cell movement, signal transduction, transcriptional and translational regulations. These results would also provide clues to elucidate factors for pathogenesis in human granulomatous amoebic encephalitis or keratitis by Acanthamoeba.
Recognition of sign language is challenging due to the occlusion of hands, accuracy of hand gestures, and high computational costs. In recent years, deep learning techniques have made significant advances in this field. Although these methods are larger and more complex, they cannot manage long-term sequential data and lack the ability to capture useful information through efficient information processing with faster convergence. In order to overcome these challenges, we propose a word-level sign language recognition (SLR) system that combines a real-time human pose detection library with the minimized version of the gated recurrent unit (GRU) model. Each gate unit is optimized by discarding the depth-weighted reset gate in GRU cells and considering only current input. Furthermore, we use sigmoid rather than hyperbolic tangent activation in standard GRUs due to performance loss associated with the former in deeper networks. Experimental results demonstrate that our pose-based optimized GRU (Pose-OGRU) outperforms the standard GRU model in terms of prediction accuracy, convergency, and information processing capability.

Nebulin, a giant modular protein from muscle, is thought to act as molecular ruler in sarcomere assembly. In skeletal muscle, the C-terminal ${\sim}50 kDa$ region of nebulin extends into the Z-line lattice. The most recent studies implicated highlighting its extensive isoform diversity and exciting reports revealed its expression in cardiac and non-muscle tissues containing brain. Also these novel findings are indicating that nebulin is actually a multifunctional filament system, perhaps playing roles in signal transduction, contractile regulation, and myofibril force generation, as well as other not yet defined functions. However the binding protein of nebulin and function in brain is still unknown. A novel binding partner of nebulin C-terminal region was identified by screening a human brain cDNA library using yeast two-hybrid system. Nebulin C-terminus binding protein 51 (NCBP51) was contained a RING-finger domain and identified a new isoform of RING finger protein 125 (RNF125). The interaction was confirmed using the GST pull-down assay. NCBP51 belongs to a family of the RING finger proteins and its function remains to be identified in brain. The role of nebulin and NCBP51 will be studied by loss-of-function using siRNA technique in brain.

The purpose of this study was to identify factors on the user's intention of using mobile E-book based on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model). System quality(accessibility and convenience), information quality, and innovation as a user characteristics were chosen as the independent variable of this study, perceived easy of use and perceived usefulness were selected as potential variable, and user's use intention was selected as dependent variable. The survey was conducted by 170 high school students and structural equation modeling was used to analyze the relationships between factors. The results showed that information quality and the user's innovation have a positive impact on both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use while the other system factors did not affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use for mobile E-book. Finally, the perceived usefulness was found to have a positive impact on the user's intention to use mobile E-book.
In order to create a safe and comfortable educational environment and improve the quality of education, the 'Act on the Safety and Maintenance of Educational Facilities' was enacted in 2021. Accordingly, 'Educational Facility Safety Certification Operation Regulations' was established. Safety certification targets are classified into 'kindergarten', 'elementary/middle/high school and special schools', and 'university and other educational facilities'. Other educational facilities include libraries and student training facilities. However, student training facilities and libraries are different from schools as facilities for special activities such as training and reading. Therefore, the unique characteristics of the facility must be reflected in the 'Educational Facility Safety Certification Operation Regulations'. This study analyzed how the 'Educational Facility Safety Certification Operation Regulation' reflects the special characteristics of student training facilities and libraries that are 'other educational facilities'. The previous certification system and guidelines were compared and analyzed, and the on-site survey method was used. Finally, it was confirmed that each of the library and the student training facility needed 9 detailed criteria reviews.
