노인 운동행위 변화단계별 중재프로그램의 개발 및 평가 - 범이론적 모형의 적용 - (Development and Evaluation of a Stage Matched Exercise Intervention Program for Elders - Application of the Tran Theoretical Model -)

  • Objectives: This study was designed to develop and evaluate a stage matched exercise intervention program to effectively increase exercise behaviors in urban elders. Methods: The study included three phases: preliminary descriptive data collection, program development, and program evaluation. The data for the preliminary descriptive phase were collected between May and June 2001. The study participants were 89 urban elders who responded a questionnaire that included general characteristics, exercise related experiences, stage, and process of change in exercise behaviors. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, and content analysis. Development of the program was based on the preliminary data. and a literature review, and was guided by the tran theoretical model. It consisted of strategies to facilitate the process of changes used in each stage. Evaluation of the program was achieved from October to December 2001, using a case study method, in which eight urban female elders participated. Interviews were conducted on a weekly basis in the form of either an individual interview, or group discussion. Each elder subject received education in accordance with the program strategies and education materials. In the case that a subject's stage of change moved into another one, the scores for the process of change were re-measured. The data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. Results: The results were as follows: 1. Elders who participated in the preliminary data collection phase were over 75 years of age, and the majority of them were women. They had a higher educational level, and fewer number of illnesses than the subjects in other studies. Their stage of change was divided into pre-contemplation and maintenance. The social liberation scores were the highest across all stages of change. There was no difference between men and women on scores for processes of change in each stage. 2. The stage matched exercise intervention program that was developed in this study consisted of one counseling type program and three distinguished educational booklet materials. 3. The results of the case studies are as follows: 1) The study participants were 8 women between 75 and 87 years of age. At the first interviews, all of them were in the pre-contemplation stage. All of them reached the action stage before the 7th week. The scores for processes of change that were the focus in each stage increased more than the scores for other processes of change. During the early stages of change, experimental processes increased more than behavioral processes. However. this pattern was reversed during later stages of change. 2) Characteristics of the subjects in each stage were identical as presented at the tran theoretical model. The intervention strategies were effective in the transition occurred in any stage. 3) Barriers for exercise included unwillingness to exercise, fatigue, shortness of breath, and pain. Ways to overcome these barriers were 'learning an alternative exercise method that can be done at home', 'self-promising/ exercise-promising', and 'use of cues to exercise'. 4) The factors that affected the application of the program were consideration of age and personal preference in selecting an exercise pattern, individualized intervention, and use of education materials appropriate to elders. Women over 80 years of age preferred muscle strengthening and stretching exercise, because they can be easily done at home. They also preferred individualized interventions, materials that were easy to read, and education contents appropriate for elders. Conclusion: In conclusion, the stage matched exercise intervention program that considered the characteristics of the elders was effective to facilitate exercise behaviors of the elders.

어린이, 부모, 교사를 위한 웹기반 감염예방 교육프로그램 개발 (Development of Web-Based Infection Prevention Education Program For Children, Parents and Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 아동의 감염예방 교육을 위하여 아동, 부모, 교사를 대상으로 웹기반 감염예방교육 프로그램을 개발하고 프로그램 평가를 확인하는 것이다. 웹기반 교육프로그램 개발에 대한 연구결과, 분석, 설계, 개발, 평가의 4 단계로 2015년 2월 1일에 시작하여 2015년 10월 5일에 웹기반 프로그램이 완성되었다. 완성된 웹사이트는 CHILD4HEALTH라고 명명하였다. 감염예방을 위한 교육 콘텐츠는 아동, 부모, 교사의 3 영역으로 구성된다. 대상에 따른 9개의 카테고리는 애니메이션, 어린이 사전, 엄마와 함께, 노래, 퀴즈, 게임, 부모를 위한 교육내용, 교사를 위한 교육내용, 가정통신문이다. 흥미와 교육적 효과를 위해 6개의 캐릭터가 개발되었다. 웹기반 교육프로그램 평가에 대한 연구결과는 웹사이트, 신뢰도, 만족도로 제시된다. 웹사이트 평가결과, 부모들은 사용 용이성 $3.77{\pm}0.70$, 흥미성 $4.07{\pm}0.27$, 유아 적합성 $3.82{\pm}0.67$, 교육적 가치 $4.02{\pm}0.75$, 디자인 특성을 $3.65{\pm}0.53$점으로 평가하였다. 교사들은 사용 용이성 $3.98{\pm}0.37$, 흥미성 $4.00{\pm}0.17$, 유아 적합성 $4.34{\pm}0.60$, 교육적 가치 $4.25{\pm}0.43$, 디자인 특성을 $3.81{\pm}0.56$점으로 평가하였다. 신뢰도 평가는 부모 $8.33{\pm}0.62$, 교사 $8.50{\pm}0.73$, 만족도 평가는 부모 $7.80{\pm}0.77$, 교사 $8.10{\pm}0.74$이었다. 향후 감염병 예방을 위한 교육에 본 연구에서 개발된 교육프로그램이 도움이 될 것이다.

산욕부 안위에 영향을 미치는 병원환경 요인에 관한 연구 (Study on Hospital Environmental Causes Affected the Mother′s Comfort After Her Child Birth)

  • The Purpose of this study is to examine closely the causes influenced upon the comfort and recovery of the woman delivered of a child in the hospital at the same time to understand environmental status of hospitals in order to promote mother's health recovery, and to improve hospital environment by emphasizing the meaning of environment and health before the medical staff and hospital administrative authority. In the method of servery of the research, 165 post paestum patients have been randomly selected who were accommodated and delivered their babies at OB(obstetric ) & GY (Gynecologic) unit the 7 general hospitals for the period of 6 December 1976 through 17 December 1976. As for the survey, it has been used of Questionnaire where we have 65 items in the respect of personal environment in the hospital such as trusting nurse, ability, reliability, kindness and etiquette of nurse and tile character of nurse the relationship with patients the other respect of physical environment included 9f temperature, moisture. air-ventilation lightening noise, cleanness. facilities, and the third realm being of mother's hearth ground to have the following conclusion 1. The feature of the collected personnel they are from OB or GY sects of from OB unit of the other 5 hospitals except the two general hospitals of the college or school Otherwise the rate of the patients to nurses would be 9 : 1. As for the nurses'ground it would be appeared of 20-25 years of age as the 76%. either 3 year course or 4 year course in the education would be each 50% and less than 2 year experience case would record as of 60 %. In the respect of hospital physical environmental status, there we have two hospitals without any thermometers, on the other han4 nowhere there's hygrometer, otherwise, the lightening is normal or over than normal As for the structure of noise protection the corridors're, generally speaking worse than rooms, nerver hueless, there's no ventilating system in the hospitals. The rooms'repainted in white and yellow, light green white, or green color. The patient's clothing were in green pink blue, light green or in white co for. There're not anything special in both decoration and equipments. Most of them used tall beds except in one hospital 2. To the extent of perception of patient's hatch 9round and hospital environment it is presented that they perceived nurse's ability in highest in total human variable, though perceived kindness or etiquette in the lowest otherwise, comparatively high in total average. 3. In the respect of physical environment it is highest perceived of lightening terms, otherwise, lowest perceived of air ventilation and total average became lowest than the one of the original record 4. To ages, in the respect of hatch ground rather old aged mother than the younger one has perceived that nurse would be trusting, in good service character, able, at the same time, liable, Otherwise, in physical environment regardless of age, they perceived lightening in high and remarkably lower in ventilation As a result of the examination of the difference in hospital environment to each age it is appeared of statistical difference at 5% level of ability in the personal environment otherwise little difference as for physical environment 5. In the respect of perceiving level to educational standard it is highly perceived of personal environment for higher ranking group rather than lower group in the educational standard. In case of physical environment it is highly perceived for lower level group rather than higher level group in educational background. The variables which have statistical significance at 5% level are from trusting kindness, etiquette and total kindness, etiquette and total all significance at 5% level are from trusting, kindness, etiquette and total human environment variable in personal environment, otherwise, there's little difference in the physical environment. 6. The perceiving level due to times of admission and accommodation at the hospital would be cleared out as gradual higher perception both physical and personal environment in the hospital. At 5% significant level of the ventilation condition in physical environmental variable it is presented of meaningful difference otherwise, there we have little difference both in Personal variable and other one. 7. In accordance with living standard, the perception degree of personal environment in tee hospital would be inclined to increase to higher living standard on the other hand, in case of the physical environment, the perception level world increase to lower living standard At 5 % level, the trustuariable and total scores in the personal eicuironmectal variable there appeared a meaningful/ significant difference otherwise, there presented little difference both in physical environmental and other variable to the living standard 8. Pertaining to family unit, the mother of an independent family unit perceived highly in all respect of the personal and the physical environment in the hospital rather than the woman of succeeding family unit. At 5 % level there appeared a difference in the respect of kindness and etiquette both in personal environment variable, on the other hand, there hardly marked a difference between other variable and physical environmental one. 9. The degree of perception to comforting level has little connection with a statistical difference the age, educational level hospital admitting times, living standard or family unit. 10. The most effective variable to mother's comforting level will be nurse's ability, reliability, trusting manner, and total physical environment variable in order.

현실요법에 기초한 미술치료 프로그램이 대학생의 체중조절과 신체상 및 자아존중감에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of an Art Therapy Program based on Reality Therapy on Weight Control, Body Image, and Self-esteem of College Students)

  • This study was carried out to identify the effects of an art therapy program based on reality therapy on the weight control, body image, and self-esteem of college students. The program was developed by the authors. The design was a pretest-post test control group design. The subjects were college students attending M college : 8 in experimental group A, 6 in experimental group 2, who wanted to control their body weight and 16 in the control group who didn't attend the program those in the experimental group attended the program once (group A) or twice (group B) per week meeting a total of six times. The data were analyzed by quantity method (SPSS 10.0 program) and quality method(process analysis). The results were as follows : 1. The average obesity index of pre-test, post-test, and a follow-up test decreased from 8.9% to 6.1%, 3.7%. And the rate of decrease both pre-post and post-follow up were statistically significant 2. The average obesity index of group A decreased from 9.6% to 6.3%, 4.1% and the rate of decrease between pre and post were statistically significant. But the rate of decrease between post and follow-up were statistically not significant 3. The average obesity index of group B decreased from 7.8% to 5.8%, 3.1% and the rate of decrease between pre and post were not significant statistically. But the rate of decrease between post and follow-up were statistically significant 4. The average scores of pre and post body image increased and were statistically significant : group A from 129.0 to 153.5, group B from 127.7 to 155.2. 5. The average scores of pre and post semantic differential method increased and were statistically significant: group A from 38.1 to 44.1, group B from 38.0 to 45.0. 6. The average scores of pre and post self-esteem increased: group A increased from 37.3 to 40.3 and were statistically significant, group B increased from 36.5 to 39.5 but was statistically insignificant 7. The average scores of pre and post obesity rate, body image, semantic differential method and self-esteem in the control group were not statistically significant 8. The pre and post scores of body image(p=.001), semantic differential method(p=.001) and self-esteem(p=.039) between experimental and control group were statistically significant. 9. In Duncan multiple comparison, it was not statistically significant between group A and B, but statistically significant between group A and the control group, group B and the control group in obesity index, body image, semantic differential method. There was no statistically significance among the three groups in self esteem 10. In Duncan multiple comparison, group A gained higher scores than group B in obesity index(-1.2%), and self esteem(0. 3). Group B gained higher scores than group A in body image(3. 0), and semantic differential method(1. 0). So it is difficult to conclude whether group A or B is more effective. In conclusion, the art therapy program based on reality therapy was effective in weight the control program of college students: obesity was decreased, the scores of body image and semantic differential method and self-esteem were increased. The scores of group A were increased more than group Band were statistically significant, The time interval was a very important factor in this program. The recommendation is : the validity of this program has to be tested through various subjects and in various areas. And also this program has to be tested in other topics.

병원 구성원들의 직종별 조직몰입의 영향요인에 관한 연구 (Factors affecting the Organizational Commitment of Industrial Accident Hospital Employees by Job Category)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of socio-demographic, organizational culture, organizational conflict and organizational commitment, and to examine the interrelation of influential factors in the organizational commitment. The data for this study were collected through a self-administrated survey with a structured questionnaire to 1,027 subjects from several medical doctor staff members, nursing staff members, administration staff members, pharmacist, and technical expert of eleven hospitals. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaire from July 29 to September 7, 2002. In this analysis frequency test, t-test, ANOVA, multiple regression were used. The main results of this research is as following; 1. According to socio-demographic characteristics the respondents' level of the organizational commitment was higher in a administration staff members than others, for males than females, and for employees aged more than forty, as working for longer time, and as higher level of the working position. 2. According to the organizational culture characteristics the progressive culture, affiliative culture, and task-focused culture among many types of organizational culture were moderately and positively correlated with the level of the organizational commitment while the hierarchical culture was negatively correlated. 3. According to the organizational conflict characteristics as the respondents who got less conflict experience in the organization, their level of the organizational commitment was higher. And, technical conflict experiences were expressed greater than hierarchical conflict experiences. 4. According to the job satisfaction characteristics as his or her satisfaction that is about the promotion, working itself, salary, and fellowship in the organizational was higher, the level of the organizational commitment was higher. The most important factor of the satisfactions was the fellowship among the respondents while the level of job satisfaction for the promotion and salary was average. 5. Overall, according to the result of Multiple Regression as older age and longer working hours, the level of the organizational commitment was higher and as a higher level of the satisfaction for the promotion, working itself, salary, and fellowship in the organization, it caused more effective factors for the organizational commitment. 6. According to the result of Multiple Regression for the doctor staff members in special hospitals rather than general hospitals the hierarchical culture and task focused culture was positively correlated with the satisfaction of working itself while hierarchical conflict factors in the organizational conflict characteristics was negatively correlated with the organizational commitment. For the nursing staff members the affiliative culture and the job satisfaction for the promotion, working itself, salary, and fellowship were positively correlated with the organizational commitment. For the administration staff members as the job satisfaction for the fellowship was positively correlated with the organizational commitment. For medical and pharmacy staff members as more working experience, correlation with the organizational commitment was positive. Besides, as he or she has a high perception of the affiliative culture, it caused statistically more effective factors for the organizational commitment. For the skill and technicians, male worker expressed greater organizational commitment in the organization than female worker. And also older age along with higher education also showed higher organizational commitment. Moreover, the job satisfaction for the fellowship was positively correlated with the organizational commitment. This study identified the major effective factors of the organizational commitment and analyzed the differences among the job category. In that respect, it is significant for the study to be able to provide a reference for managing hospital of industrial accident and organizational development. However, this study has a problem, which is not to identify a valuable model for examining the relationship between organizational factors such as organizational culture, conflict, satisfaction, and commitment. Therefore, further study is needed and strengthened in the field of organizational commitment for hospital for industrial accident.

도시지역 노인들의 도구적 일상생활 수행능력(IADL)에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting to the Instrumental Ability of Daily Living(IADL) in the Urban Elderly)

  • This study was intended to find out the factors affecting to the IADL, allowing objective assessment of physical function status of increasing elderly populations. The subjects of 635 elderly persons aged over 65 years old who live in Taejon metropolitan city were interviewed during the two-month period from June to July of 2000. The IADL of Older American Resources and Services(OARS), developed in Duke medical college of USA, was interpreted for use. The study results were statistically processed using SPSSWIN(ver 10.0) and conferred the following results: 1. Among the seven items of IADL, the women showed higher rates of 'yes' in items about using the telephone, getting to the places out of walking distance, going shopping for groceries, taking their own medicine while outnumbered by the men only in the item about managing their own money, without significant differences between them in items about preparing their own meals and doing their own housework. 2. In terms of IADL scores, $82.0\%$ of subjects showed the normal range of scores and $18.0\%$ were under the normal range, meaning dysfunction IADL. Specifications of general characteristics revealed that more dysfunctional were the male subjects, the higher age groups who are more than 75 years old, the higher educated groups, the groups who live in nursing homes, the groups without a spouse. 3. Based on daily activities, lower scores of IADL were found in the subjects who don't go out, who don't have recreational activities, who don't attend elderly gatherings in their neighborhood, who don't hold social meetings. Specifications of psychological traits revealed that more dysfunctional were IADL in the subjects who don't feel satisfied with their lives of the past or the present, who have a deep feeling of isolation, and who don't have the will to live. 4. Among 7 items of health habits, only the subjects who don't regular exercise had lower scores of IADL than those who do. According to HPI, the lower HPI, the more dysfunctional. 5. Based on the factors associated with IADL, the odds ratio of the subjects who don't live together with their families were 1.53 times that of the ones who do, who are educated 3.22 times that of the ones who are not, who don't have spouses 2.09 times that of the ones who do, who don't go out 4.35 times that of the ones who frequently go out, who don't recreational activities for an interest 2.64 times that of the ones who do, who don't attend elderly gatherings in their neighborhood 1.47 times that of the ones who do, who don't hold social meetings 2.23 times that of the ones who do, who don't feel satisfied with their present living 1.43 times that of the ones who do, who have a feeling of isolation 1.53times that of the ones who don'1, who have the weak will to live 3.21 times that of the ones who have the strong one, and who don't regular exercise 2.45 times that of the ones who do. 6. Logistic regression analysis of the study results found that such factors are significantly related as the degree of education, with/without spouse, social meetings, the will to live, and regular exercise, and that higher rates of dysfunctional subjects were in the more educated group, in the group without spouse, in the group who don't frequently go out, who don't have social meetings, who have the weak will to live, and who don't exercise.

대전광역시와 충청남도의 13년간(2000-2012) 대장암 발생 추세 (Trends in Colorectal Cancer Incidence in Daejeon and Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea (2000-2012))

  • 대장암 발생에 관한 국내 역학연구는 매우 부족한 상황으로 국가단위 대장암 발생률의 추세는 보고되어 왔지만 광역 지역에서의 추세 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 대전과 충남의 대장암 발생률 추세를 결장암과 직장암으로 구분하여 기술하고자 한다. 2000-2012년도 기간 동안 해당 지역암등록 자료를 이용하여 세계표준인구를 기준으로 연령표준화 대장암 발생률을 산출하였다. 발생률 추세는 Joinpoint Regression Program으로 분석하여 연평균 변화율(Average Annual Percent Change, AAPC)로 나타내었다. 연구 대상 암등록자료의 질적 수준 평가에서 충실도 지표(MI%)와 타당도 지표(DCO%, MV%, PSU%, AUK%)는 암 발생률의 추세를 기술하기에 전반적으로 적정한 수준이었다. 13년 동안 연령표준화 대장암 발생률은 남성과 여성 모두 지속적으로 증가하였다. 대전지역에서 남성의 경우 2000년 10만 명당 37.2건에서 2012년 51.7건으로 연평균 3.9%(AAPC) 증가하였고, 여성의 경우 2000년 10만 명당 17.1건에서 2012년 28.4건으로 연평균 3.9% 증가하였다. 충남지역에서 남성의 경우 2000년 10만 명당 29.8건에서 2012년 50.1건으로 연평균 5.1% 증가 하였고, 여성의 경우 2000년 10만 명당 15.9건에서 2012년 26.6건으로 연평균 3.2% 증가하였다. 이를 결장암과 직장암으로 분류하여 살펴보면 남녀 모두 결장암의 증가 추세가 직장암 증가보다 더 컸고, 직장암의 증가는 남성이 여성보다 더 빠른 추세였다. 결론적으로 대전과 충남의 대장암 발생은 2000년 이후 13년간 빠른 증가추세를 보였다. 이를 억제하기 위한 대장암 발생 감시와 예방에 지역사회의 관심을 더 높일 필요가 있다.

65세 이상 인구의 고용형태와 의료요구 미충족 경험률의 관련성 (Correlation of Unmet Healthcare Needs and Employment Status for a Population over 65 Years of Age)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국의 65세 이상 노인의 의료요구 미충족 경험률을 알아보고, 고용형태와 의료요구 미충족 경험률 및 경제적 이유로 인한 의료요구 미충족 경험률의 관련성을 분석하는 것이다. 연구방법은 2013년 한국의료패널자료를 이용하여 65세 이상인구 5,528명을 대상으로 고용형태에 따른 의료요구 미충족 경험률과 경제적 이유로 인한 의료요구 미충족 경험률의 관련성을 알아보기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 65세 이상 노인의 의료요구 미충족 경험률은 18.9%로 유렵연합국 노인인구집단보다 의료요구 미충족 경험률이 2-3배 높았다. 그리고, 의료요구 미충족을 경험한 노인 중 의료요구 미충족을 경험한 이유가 경제적 이유라고 응답한 노인은 42.8%였으므로 경제적 이유로 인한 의료요구 미충족 경험률은 8.1%이다. 임시직으로 경제활동을 하는 노인은 은퇴로 경제활동을 하지 않는 노인보다 의료요구 미충족 경험률이 높았고(ORs=1.75), 일용직으로 경제활동을 하는 노인은 경제적 이유로 인한 의료요구 미충족 경험률이 높았다(ORs=1.92). 경제활동 상태에 따른 의료요구 미충족 경험률의 차이는 '질병과 손상'을 가진 노인을 제외하고는 종사상의 지위에 따른 차이가 크지 않았다. 의료요구 미충족 경험 이유가 높은 의료비 부담이라고 응답한 경우에도 경제활동 상태에 따른 의료요구 미충족 경험률의 차이는 '질병과 손상'을 가진 노인을 제외하고는 종사상 지위에 따른 차이가 크지 않았다. 다만, 경제활동자 중에서는 '일용직' 노인의 경제적 이유로 의료요구 미충족 경험률이 가장 높았다. 또한, 소득이 적을수록 의료요구 미충족을 경험할 가능성이 높았다. 결론적으로 한국 노인의 의료요구 미충족을 해결하기 위해서는 노후소득보장제도의 개선뿐만 아니라 평균수명 증가에 따른 경제활동에 참여하는 노인의 일자리 형태 및 임금수준에 대한 개선방안이 필요할 것으로 보이며, 더불어 의료비를 해결할 수 있는 건강보험의 보장성이 강화되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 치과건강보험에 대한 소아치과 의사의 인식과 견해를 조사하는 것이다. 대한소아치과학회 회원들을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 문항 수는 41문항이며, 문항은 6개의 항목 '설문 응답자의 일반적인 특성', '국민건강 보험과 치과건강보험', '소아치과 영역의 치과건강보험', '소아치과와 관련된 치과건강보험 제도 개선점', '치과건강보험청구', '치과건강보험과 관련한 대한소아치과학회 역할'으로 이루어졌다. 총 302명이 응답하였고, 응답률은 28.9%였다. 기록이 미비한 2명을 제외하고, 총 300명을 분석대상으로 하였다. 소아치과 의사들은 치면열구전색술, 광중합형 복합레진 충전에 정량광형광기 치아우식검사에 비해 높은 만족도를 보였다(p < 0.017). 소아치과 의사들은 보험수가 인상이 가장 필요한 항목은 영구치 복합레진 충전(65.7%), 보험급여가 가장 필요한 항목은 불소도포(74.7%)라 생각하였다. 치과건강보험 청구는 대체로 치과위생사 또는 간호조무사가 담당하였다. 소아치과 의사들은 학회에서 치과건강보험에 대한 정보를 제공하는 것에 대해 긍정적으로 생각하였다. 이 연구는 향후, 소아치과 영역 치과건강보험제도의 정책적 발전을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

임상의사의 삶의 만족도 자가평가 수준과 관련 요인 (Levels of Physicians' Self-assessment of Life Satisfaction and Associated Factors)

  • 본 연구에서는 2016년 KPS 자료를 이용하여 우리나라 임상의사의 삶의 만족도 자가 평가 수준과 이와 관련된 요인을 파악하였다. KPS는 우리나라 전체 의사를 대상으로 근무 현황 및 환경, 보건의료체계·정책 인식 및 평가수준, 보건의료정보시스템 가용 현황 및 활용 정도, 직업 및 직무만족도, 활동 계획 및 진로, 생활습관 및 건강상태, 특정 직역(개원의, 은퇴자) 문항 등을 조사하였다. 설문지는 온라인 설문조사 방식으로 E-mail을 통해 발송되었고 최종 응답자는 8,564명으로 응답률은 13.8%였다. 본 연구에서는 현재 환자를 직접 진료하고 있는 임상의사 중에서 수련의와 공보의를 제외한 총 7,228명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 본 연구결과 임상의사의 삶의 만족도는 만족 36.1%(2,609명), 보통 42.8%(3,095명), 불만족 21.1%(1,524명)이었다. 임상의사의 삶의 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 요인들은 신체적 요인으로는 60대이며, 여성이고, 평소 건강상태를 좋다고 평가하는 경우였다. 심리적 요인으로는 스트레스가 적었다. 사회적 요인으로는 가족과 함께 거주하며, 가족과 보낼 수 있는 시간에 대해 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 의사로서 받게 되는 사회적인 존경에 대해 만족하고 있었다. 조직적 요인은 교수이며, 16년 이상 근무 경력을 가진 경우였다. 직업적 요인으로는 근무시간 및 업무량, 의료자원 지원, 동료 및 직원과의 관계에 만족하는 경우였다. 경제적 요인으로는 소득에 대한 만족도가 높았다. 건강행태 요인으로는 현재 흡연을 하지 않으며, 음주횟수는 한 달에 1번 미만이었다. 임상의사의 삶의 만족도는 단순히 개인의 삶을 떠나 의사를 만나는 환자의 진료행위에까지 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 감안할 때 임상의사의 삶의 만족도를 높이기 위한 다각도의 접근이 필요하다고 생각한다. 이를 통해 임상의사들은 우리 사회 구성원 중 하나로 균형 있는 삶을 영위하고, 나아가 우리 사회 구성원들에게 보다 질 높은 보건의료서비스를 제공할 수 있기를 기대한다.
