Objectives: The demand for hospice has been increasing among patients with cancer. This study examined the current hospice referral scenario for terminally ill cancer patients and created a data form to collect hospice information and a modified health information exchange (HIE) form for a more efficient referral system for terminally ill cancer patients. Methods: Surveys were conducted asking detailed information such as medical instruments and patient admission policies of hospices, and interviews were held to examine the current referral flow and any additional requirements. A task force team was organized to analyze the results of the interviews and surveys. Results: Six hospices completed the survey, and 3 physicians, 2 nurses, and 2 hospital staff from a tertiary hospital were interviewed. Seven categories were defined as essential for establishing hospice data. Ten categories and 40 data items were newly suggested for the existing HIE document form. An implementation guide for the Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture developed by Health Level 7 (HL7 CCDA) was also proposed. It is an international standard for interoperability that provides a framework for the exchange, integration, sharing, and retrieval of electronic health information. Based on these changes, a hospice referral scenario for terminally ill cancer patients was designed. Conclusions: Our findings show potential improvements that can be made to the current hospice referral system for terminally ill cancer patients. To make the referral system useful in practice, governmental efforts and investments are needed.
Purpose: This study investigated the effects of simulation-based nursing education (for the care of congestive heart failure patients) on self-directed learning competency, clinical knowledge and problem-solving ability among nursing students. Methods: A one-group, pre-post design was utilized with 87 nursing students as the subjects. The scenario of simulation-based nursing education was created using a high-fidelity patient stimulator, and consisted of four states ((1) assessment, (2) reviewing laboratory data and administering medications and treatments, (3) managing increased dyspnea and decreased urine output, and (4) handling the "getting better" state). The simulation-based nursing education included orientation, team-based learning, team-based practice, and debriefing. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients and paired t-tests. Results: The scores on the factors for self-directed learning competency (t=-2.57, p= .011), clinical knowledge (t=-6.85, p<.001), and problem-solving ability (t=-3.01, p= .003) increased significantly after the education intervention. Conclusion: Simulation-based nursing education is useful in improving self-directed learning competency, clinical knowledge, and problem-solving ability in nursing students.

The Processes of a new product design based on ergonomics and customer satisfaction have been studied for years. However, few attempts have been made to systematically include ergonomic design concept to communication service design. Service design can be regarded as a specific type of product design in a way that the processes of product design can also be employed to those of service design. However, a few difficulties may often arise in doing so. First, services have no explicit tangible features, which implies that a customer may not properly appraise contents, quality and functionality of newly designed services with a prototype before launching into market. Second, customer demands on services change more rapidly according to advances in related technology. In the study, we examined earlier studies of product design process and identified that a service design process must alos conform ergonomic methodology, extracting innovative values for creativitybased design and subsequently evaluate its level of customer satisfaction. In this study, we proposed a customer-centered ergonomic design process for communication services. This process includes a hierarchical structure of service requirement identification, customer-centered trend analysis, service scenario development and service evaluation. To prove the practicality of the design process, a case study of communication service design was conducted according to the procedure that follows.
This study aimed to analyze the effects of nursing students' self efficacy, communication skill, and nursing skill on their application of the fundamental nursing practice program with clinical scenario. This study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The participants were second year nursing students; the experimental group had 35 participants and the control group had 46. The clinical scenario based program was applied and evaluated the self efficacy, communication ability, and nursing ability. The results of the study showed an increase in self-efficacy in the experimental group, and this increase was statistically significant as compared to that in the control group (t=2.06, p=.042). Communication skill increased in the experimental group, but it was not statistically significant as compared to the control group (t=.28, p=.778). Nursing skills slightly increased in the experimental group compared to that in the control group (t=2.46 4, p=.016). The fundamental nursing practice combining the clinical scenario can help students' understanding of clinical situation and nursing skills.

To prepare for the impending climate crisis, it is necessary to establish policies and strategies based on scientific predictions and analyses of climate change impacts. For this, climate change should be considered, however, in conventional scenario-led approach, researchers select and utilize representative climate change scenarios. Using the representative climate change scenarios makes prediction results high uncertain and low reliable, which leads to have limitations in applying them to relevant policies and design standards. Therefore, it is necessary to utilize scenario-neutral approach considering possible change ranges due to climate change. In this study, hydrologic risk was estimated for Boryeong after generating 343 time series of climate stress and calculating drought return period from bivariate drought frequency analysis. Considering 18 scenarios of SSP1-2.6 and 18 scenarios of SSP5-8.5, the results indicated that the hydrologic risks of drought occurrence with maximum return period ranged 0.15±0.025 within 20 years and 0.3125±0.0625 within 50 years, respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to establish drought policies and countermeasures in consideration of the corresponding hydrologic risks in Boryeong.
The integration and union of regional digital map and vehicle location data in e-Logistics which means virtual service architecture based on the Internet among the logistics companies is indispensable clause in order to satisfy the visibility characteristics. Most conventional vehicle monitoring and controlling systems were constructed with individual and mutual exclusive architecture so that there are required lots of cost for sharing and integrating the information among them. In this paper, we design and implement an component-based open system which represent moving object location information as well as digital map using the GML(Geography Markup Language - international standard encoding based on XML). We also test proposed system on the delivery vehicle scenario in e-Logistics environment, and validate its superior in terms of extensibility and interoperability.

In this paper, we design a transmission / receiver structure to provide additional data service based on Mobile MMT in hybrid network environment. Mobile MMT is an extended standard of MMT, the next generation multimedia transmission protocol. MMT defines technologies for efficiently transmitting multimedia and supporting various types of data transmission and bidirectional services over heterogeneous networks based on IP. The Mobile MMT further defines the extended functions to provide functions specific to the mobile network based on the existing MMT technology. In this paper, we design and propose a additional data service scenario and additional data transmission / receiver structure that can receive additional data related to contents delivered through broadcasting network and additional data such as traffic, weather, traveler information related to user information.
In this paper, the management architecture and the ubiquitous profile based on CC/PP for contents adaptation in the ubiquitous environment is designed. The components and the attributes of the ubiquitous profile are defined based on the services scenario of contents adaptation in the ubiquitous environment. The ubiquitous profile was applied to techniques such as standard vocabulary, CC/PP structure, RDF schema and RDF to use effectively in the ubiquitous environment during the design. Also we design and propose the another management architecture based on ideas such as the dynamic constitution method, the metadata constitution method using a repository and the management method of gateway on center for the effective management of the ubiquitous profile. The result of performance evaluation for the proposed management architecture is more effective compared with the previous management method of the profile. The proposed the ubiquitous profile and the management architecture has provided the foundation of the research for a user to adaptation contents services in the ubiquitous environment.

In this paper, in order to evaluate the impact of future climate change in North Korea, we collected the climate data of each station in North Korea provided by WMO and expanded the lack of time series data. Using the RCP climate change scenario, And the impact of climate change on disasters using local vulnerability to disasters in the event of a disaster. In order to evaluate this, the 11 cities in North Korea were evaluated for Design Rainfall Load, human risk index (HRI), and disaster impact index (DII) at each stage. As a result, Jaffe increased from C grade to B grade in the Future 1 period. At Future 2, North Hwanghae proved to be dangerous as it was, and Gangwon-do and Hwanghae-do provincial grade rose to C grade. In the case of Future 3, Pyongyang City dropped from C grade to D grade, Hamgyong and Gyeongsang City descend from B grade to C grade, Gangwon-do and Jagangdo descend from C grade to D grade and Pyongyang city descend from C grade to D grade. Respectively.
Future space is currently getting a great deal of attention to apply ubiquitous computing technology. At the same time, various ubiquitous technology-based products are being developed with service scenarios in the views of diverse user groups predicted. Since these service models and scenarios need to be tested to verify effectiveness, it requires researchers to predict spatial shapes and service scenarios for future domestic environment that fulfills diverse future spatial requirements including ecological and user-oriented spaces, extended amenity getting maximum benefits from technology, etc. To support these developments, the need to make a physical test-bed, a real building model, is essential. However building a physical test-bed generally is economically expensive and even if the test-bed could be settled, it must be carefully designed before it is built In this paper, we suggest a virtual smart test-bed, called "V-PlaceLab", using virtual reality techniques. This system allows not only to inspect a scenario with the aid of computer simulation on a virtual environment, but also to design a virtual test-bed mentioned above.
