We have studied magnetic properties of Co/Pt multilayered films which have attracted great interest as high-density magneto-optical (MO) recording media due to their good MO properties. For this study, [Pt(45 )/Co(35 )]$\times$8 films were deposited with a Pt buffer layer of 60 on Si(100) substrate by alternating electron-beam evaporation in a high vacuum and were ion beam mixed by using 80keV Ar+ at 25$0^{\circ}C$. Especially, an external magnetic field was added to help changing magnetic property during ion beam mixing (IBM). The intermixing of Co and Pt layers after IBM was confirmed with Rutherford Backscattering Spectroscopy (RBS) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). The MO property of the film was measured with magneto-optical Kerr spectrometer and the change of magnetic easy axis in the film plane was observed from Ker loop data. This anomalous result might be correlated with the change of atomic structure due to the intermixing effect.

A new driving scheme, Address and Display Period Complex Driving for Expanding Gray Scale(ACE), is proposed by mixing Address Display period Separated(ADS) and Address While Display(AWD). In this method scan lines are divided in blocks driving by AWD and scan lines in block progress sequential high speed addressing. ADS driving get accomplished in low gray level for expanding gray scale. Scan time is reduced and the number of subfields is increased by high speed addressing of ACE. That expands the gray scale and decreases the dynamic false contour. Also, that improves contrast by using ramp reset.

Purpose : The aim of this study was to investigate objective evaluation of dysmenorrhea. Methods : The study was conducted by 37 articles from year 1979 to 2003 on dysmenorrhea, scale and questionaire. The articles was limited by English, Human, and Clinical trial Results : 1. The 37 articles on dysmenorrhea evaluated by scale or questionaire have been published from 1979. There are 27 articles of randomized controlled trial among them. 2. Scale or question has confidence in the assessment of dysmenorrhea. 3. In the initial stage the article on dysmenorrhea was assessed by only one unidimentional scale. However in recent articles multidimensional scales are applied frequently. Moreover it is the modern trend that point scale such as 100mm VAS and MVRS(multidimensional verbal rating scale) are applied together in one article on dysmenorrhea. Conclusion : It can be suggested that scale or questionaire be the method for objective evaluation of dysmenorrhea.

Object : The purpose of this study is to observe the correlation between change in pattern identification symptoms and scandinavian stroke scale in ischemic stroke patient who had receive traditional Korean medical treatment and conservative treatment. Methods : 43 subjects were recruited from patients with ischemic stroke within 30 days of onset. We chose the subjects who had at least one follow up session and had checked the score between last follow up session and first session in pattern identification and scandinavian stroke scale. We also assessed the correlation between pattern identification and scandinavian stroke scale. Results : There were significant negative correlation between pattern identification and scandinavian stroke scale in Fire-heat pattern and positive correlation in Dampness-phlegm pattern. Conclusions : This study provides evidence that collaborative treatment maybe effective in improving neurologic symptoms in ischemic stroke patients diagnosed as Fire-heat pattern. Further studies with larger scale and longer observation period, more neurologicscales scales, control group would be required.
