슬래브-기둥 접합부의 전단보강상세에 관한 연구 (A Study of Shear Reinforcement for Slab-Column Connection)

  • The study is an experimental test on full-scale flat plate slab-column interior connection. The punching shear on the flat plate slab-column connection can bring about the reason of the brittle punching shear failure which may result of collapsing the whole structure. From the development of residential flat plate system, the shear reinforcement is developed for preventing the punching shear. For making sure of the punching shear capacity, developed for shear reinforcement in slab-column connection, the structural test is performed. The dimension of the slabs was 2620*2725*180mm with square column (600*800mm). The slabs were tested up to failure monotonic vertical shear forces. The presences of S/S bar and wire mesh substantially increased the punching shear capacity and the ductility of the slab-column connections.

  • Since the KTX was in operation in 2004, a number of researches on increasing the train speed have been conducted. Currently, the Honam High-speed train system is designed for the operation velocity of 350km/h. The societal demand expects higher operation speed, whereas the existing construction method and design specification are questioned in the KTX operation in the velocity over 350 km/h. In this study, a full-scale model test was conducted to obtain the preliminary data that is necessary to understand deformation characteristics of the reinforced road bed and the subgrade layers. In the full-scale model test, direct arrival seismic tests, crosshole seimic test, in-situ bender element test and sensing bar test were employed to measure the stiffness and deformation of the trackbed. The systematic analysis on the different set of measurements enhances the understanding of the behavior of the trackbed.

온수의 표면방출에 의한 2차원 비정상 난류 열확산 의 예측 (Prediction of 2-Dimensional Unsteady Thermal Discharge into a Reservoir)

  • Computational four-equation turbulence model is developed and is applied to predict twodimensional unsteady thermal surface discharge into a reservoir. Turbulent stresses and heat fluxes in the momentum and energy equations are determined from transport equations for the turbulent kinetic energy (R), isotropic rate of kinetic energy dissipation (.epsilon.), mean square temperature variance (theta. over bar $^{2}$), and rate of destruction of the temperature variance (.epsilon. $_{\theta}$). Computational results by four-equation model are favorably compared with those obtained by an extended two-equation model. Added advantage of the four-equation model is that it yields quantitative information about the ratio between the velocity time scale and the thermal time scale and more detailed information about turbulent structure. Predicted time scale ratio is within experimental observations by others. Although the mean velocity and temperature fields are similarly predicted by both models, it is found that the four-equation model is preferably candidate for prediction of highly buoyant turbulent flows.

스프링클러 소화설비의 목조문화재 소화성능에 관한 연구 (The Study of Fire Suppression Capability of Sprinkler System for Wooden Cultural Properties)

  • 본 연구는 국내 목조문화재의 화재에 대한 수계 자동소화시스템 중에 범용의 스프링클러 소화시스템에 대한 소화성능을 소화실험을 통하여 확인해 보았다. 목조문화재는 가연성의 재질로 구성되어 있어 화재에 취약하며, 방화의 경우 화재의 성상 초기부터 화원의 규모가 커질 수 있다. 본 실험에 적용된 스프링클러 헤드는 방사압 1 bar, 방수량 80 lpm의 사양을 지니고 있다. 소화실험의 유형은 화원의 규모별, 문화재 규모별로 각각 둘로 구분하여 소화성능을 실험하였다. 소화실험을 통해 확인된 사항은 천장이 높으면 소화 시간이 지연되는 결과가 발생하며, 화원의 규모가 2단위에서는 소화는 가능하였지만 소화가 지연되는 것으로 나타났다. 그 결과 천장이 높고, 화원의 규모가 2단위 이상이 되면 소화성능이 낮을 것으로 예측된다. 실제 목조문화재의 화재 성장 환경이 소화실험 모형보다 유리하다는 측면을 고려해야 한다. 그러므로 스프링클러 소화설비를 목조문화재에 적용 할 때에 헤드간 거리 헤드의 선정 등 충분한 검증이 요구된다.

Associations of Depressive Symptoms and Brachial Artery Reactivity among Police Officers

  • Objectives: Mental health has been shown to be linked with certain underlying physiological mechanisms. The objective of this cross sectional study was to investigate the relationship between depressive symptoms and brachial artery reactivity (BAR) in an understudied population: police officers. Methods: Participants were 351 police officers who were clinically examined in the Buffalo Cardio-Metabolic Police Stress (BCOPS) study. BAR was performed using standard B-Mode ultrasound procedures. Depressive symptoms were measured using the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression (CES-D) scale. Mean values of the difference between the baseline and maximum diameters of the brachial artery were determined across three categories of CES-D score using the analysis of variance and the analysis of covariance. p-values for linear trends were obtained from linear regression models. Results: The mean age (${\pm}$ standard deviation) of all officers was $40.9{\pm}7.2$ years. Women had a slightly higher mean CES-D score than men ($8.9{\pm}8.9$ vs. $7.4{\pm}6.4$) and a slightly higher percentage increase of BAR than men (6.90 vs. 5.26%). Smoking status significantly modified the associations between depressive symptoms and BAR. Among current smokers, mean absolute values of BAR significantly decreased as depressive symptoms increased after adjustment for age, gender, race/ethnicity, hypertension, and diabetes; the multivariate-adjusted p-values were 0.033 (absolute) and 0.040 (%). Associations between depressive symptoms and BAR were not statistically significant among former smokers or never smokers. Conclusion: Depressive symptoms were inversely associated with BAR among police officers who were current smokers and together may be considered a risk factor for cardiovascular disease among police officers. Further prospective research is warranted.

Wind tunnel tests on flow fields of full-scale railway wind barriers

  • The present study provides a deeper understanding of the flow fields of a full-scale railway wind barriers by means of a wind tunnel test. First, the drag forces of the three wind barriers were measured using a force sensor, and the drag force coefficients were compared with a similar scale model. On this basis, the mean wind velocity and turbulence upwind and downwind of the wind barriers were measured. The effects of pore size and opening forms of the wind barrier were discussed. The results show that the test of the scaled wind barrier model may be unsafe, and it is suitable to adopt the full-scale wind barrier model. The pore size and the opening forms of wind barriers have a slight influence on the flow fields upwind of the wind barrier but have some influences on the flow fields and power spectra downwind of the wind barrier. The smaller pore size generates a lower turbulence density and value of the power spectrum near the wind barrier, and the porous wind barriers clearly provide better shelter than the bar-type wind barriers.

  • KBC 2016 및 ACI 318-08에서 확대머리 철근의 순간격에 대한 지나치게 엄격한 요구 사항을 개선하기 위해 2/3 스케일의 외부 보-기둥 접합부 실험체를 준정적 반복 하중을 적용하여 실험을 수행하였다. 내진 실험을 통해 좁은 간격의 철근 순간격과 다열 배치 확대머리 철근 적용여부를 주요 변수로 하여 내진 성능에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 또한, 본 실험결과를 이전 연구자들의 실험 데이터와 함께 면밀히 분석하였다. 결론적으로 외부 보-기둥 접합부에 정착된 확대머리 철근에 대해 2db의 철근 순간격 또는 2 개층의 확대머리 철근의 사용은 내진 설계에 있어 허용될 수 있는 것으로 판단된다.

The effect of film morphology by bar-coating process for large area perovskite solar modules

  • Organic-inorganic metal halide perovskite solar cells have received attention because it has a number of advantages with excellent light harvesting, high carrier mobility, and facile solution processability and also recorded recently power conversion efficiency (PCEs) of over 20%. The major issue on perovskite solar cells have been reached the limit of small area laboratory scale devices produced using fabrication techniques such as spin coating and physical vapor deposition which are incompatible with low-cost and large area fabrication of perovskite solar cells using printing and coating techniques. To solution these problems, we have investigated the feasibility of achieving fully printable perovskite solar cells by the blade-coating technique. The blade-coating fabrication has been widely used to fabricate organic solar cells (OSCs) and is proven to be a simple, environment-friendly, and low-cost method for the solution-processed photovoltaic. Moreover, the film morphology control in the blade-coating method is much easier than the spray coating and roll-to-roll printing; high-quality photoactive layers with controllable thickness can be performed by using a precisely polished blade with low surface roughness and coating gap control between blade and coating substrate[1]. In order to fabricate perovskite devices with good efficiency, one of the main factors in printed electronic processing is the fabrication of thin films with controlled morphology, high surface coverage and minimum pinholes for high performance, printed thin film perovskite solar cells. Charge dissociation efficiency, charge transport and diffusion length of charge species are dependent on the crystallinity of the film [2]. We fabricated the printed perovskite solar cells with large area and flexible by the bar-coating. The morphology of printed film could be closely related with the condition of the bar-coating technique such as coating speed, concentration and amount of solution, drying condition, and suitable film thickness was also studied by using the optical analysis with SEM. Electrical performance of printed devices is gives hysteresis and efficiency distribution.

RAPD PCR에 의한 GM벼의 야생 근연종 벼로의 유전자 전이 분석법 (The Investigation of Gene Flows in Artificial Pollination between GM Rice and its Wild Relatives by RAPD Analysis)

  • 최근 GMO 작물의 재배, 생산이 날로 늘어나며 GMO 작물이 환경에 미칠 수 있는 많은 가능성들이 대두되고 있다. 특히 GMO 작물과 야생종과의 자연교잡에 의한 유전자 전이로, 잡초화의 문제점이 제기되며 생태계의 변화 및 파괴의 위험성이 우려되고 있다. 본 실험에서는 GM벼와 야생 및 근연종 사이의 교잡가능성 및 유전자 전이율을 조사하기 위한 유전자 이동의 분석 체계를 확립하고자 하였다. 벼의 개화시기에 GM벼와 야생 및 근연종 간의 인공교배 후 수확한 교잡 추정 종자를 발아시켜서 제초제를 처리하여 교잡종자를 선별하였다. 또한 GM 벼 및 야생 근연종벼들 간의 RAPD PCR 분석을 통해 선별한 marker를 사용하여 낙동 교잡벼와 샤레 교잡벼가 GM 벼와 교배된 식물체임을 확인하였다. PCR 분석을 수행한 결과 GM벼에서 도입된 trehalose-6-phosphate phosphatase (TPP) 유전자와 선별marker로 사용된 bar유전자가 GM벼 뿐만 아니라 샤레 교잡벼에도 존재하였으며, 결과적으로 GM벼의 bar 및 tpp 유전자가 잡초성벼인 샤레 교잡벼에 전이되었음을 검증할 수 있었다.

프리캐스트 교량부재용 초유동 자기충전 콘크리트의 유동 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flowability Properties of the High Flowing Self-Compacting Concrete for Members of Bridge Precast)

  • 최근 구조물이 대형화, 특수화 및 초고층화 되고 있는 건설현장에서는 일반콘크리트보다 더 뛰어난 고성능 콘크리트의 시험적인 시공이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 교량의 경우 과거 동바리 공법에 의한 시공은 소음 및 분진과 공사기간의 장기화 등의 문제로 점점 감소되었으며, 최근에는 시공기간 단축 및 도심지 환경에 적합한 프리캐스트로 시공하는 현장이 급속히 증가하고 있다. 교량구조물의 경우 휨에 대한 안전성을 확보하기 위하여 과밀배근된 부재를 생산하고 있는 실정이며, 과밀배근된 부재를 생산하기 위하여 일반콘크리트보다 유동과 충전성능이 월등한 초유동 자기충전 콘크리트가 적용되는 것이 바람직하다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 고로슬래그 및 플라이애쉬를 2성분계 및 3성분계 배합을 통하여 과밀배근된 교량구조물에 초유동 자기충전 콘크리트를 적용하기 위한 방법으로 과밀배근된 구조물에 적용할 수 있는 일본 토목학회의 JSCE 1등급 규정에 따른 초유동 자기충전 콘크리트의 유동 특성을 검토하였다.
