Recently batch type cold rolling processes have been replaced by continuous annealing type processes for cold rolled sheets of mild steel and high strength steel in order to obtain higher productivity, labor saving. In the continuous annealing line, it is very important to maintain the target steel strip temperature at the exit side of each furnace. The automation system of continuous annealing line is based on a hierachical composition. This paper shows how to preset the set value of furnace temperature control for the heating section in a continuous annealing line. Saying in other words, this paper presents the development of an adaptive control approach to control the exit strip temperature in the continuous annealing line. There are three parts in this approach; one is a process modelling and another is recursive parameter estimation and the other is a design of temperature controller.

In recent years, behavioral disorders of young people and juvenile delinquency tend to increase remarkably in number, and closed up highly as a social and educational problems in Korea. It goes without saying that parents generally play important roles in children's development of personality, and the home is mostly responsible for juvenile delinquency. Therefore, first this paper describes a relation between broken family and juvenile delinquents. Burt, Shideler, Neumayer, and Glueck maintain that broken family is a cause of delinquency, on the other hand, Healy and Sutherland assume a critical attitude toward their contentions. Second, Breckinridge, Merril, and Glueck maintain that poor family is as cause of delinquency, while Sullenger, Neumayer, and Dirksen make a considerable point which poverty has no direct connection with delinquency. Third, abnormal family relationships namely, discord family, abnormal parent-child relationship, and immoral family exert a bad influence upon formation of personality, esepecialy during the period of preschool childhood. These results give some empirical support to the theory that children's conduct disorders and juvenile delinquency are caused by defective family relationships. It is necessary that a community has a supporting structure of children's wholesome development and the prevention of juvenile delinquency.

컨덴서식 저항 용접기는 용접에 필요한 에너지를 전해컨덴서에 축척 시킨 후 이것을 순시에 용접변압기로 방전하여 큰 용접전류를 흘리게 된다. 아날로그 제어방식에 의한 기존 컨덴서 용접 시스템은 용접 세팅이 어려웠으며, 시스템의 소손 가능성이 높았고, 크기면에서도 비대해질 우려가 있었다. 이에 비해 디지털제어방식의 중앙집중식 자동화시스템은 사용자가 세팅을 쉽게 할 수 있으며, 전원을 제어함에 따라서 전력소비를 최소화 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 마이크로프로세서를 이용한 디지털제어방식의 중앙 집중식 컨덴서식 저항용접 시스템을 제안한다.

It is a common saying that markov-chain is a special case of probability course. That is to say, It means an unchangeable markov-chain process of the transition-probability of discontinuous time. There are two kinds of ways to show transition probability parade matrix theory. The first is the way by arrangement of a rightangled tetragon. The second part is a vertical measurement and direction sing by transition-circle. In this essay, I try to find out existence of procession for transition-probability applied markov-chain. And it is possible for me to know not only, what it is basic on a study of chain but also being applied to abnormal problems following a flow change and statistic facts expecting to use as a model of air expansion in physics.

The industrial application of hydroforming has a great potential in saying cost and achieving dimensional accuracy in automotive industry presently. The aim of the following article is to investigate the effect of process parameters on hydroformed part. Firstly, we have to investigate the change of mechanical properties for sheet and pipe material according to various radius/thickness ratio(r/t). The change of mechanical properties affects the yield stress more than the total elongation. Increase of yield stress for pipe has a bad influence on formability of hydroforming. Among the roll-forming process, the sizing process didn't change mechanical properties. The process parameters such as the initial pressure, mandrel shape and friction have seriously influenced on formability of hydroforming. Therefore we need to check formability of given material through the FE analysis in the beginning stage of process design and the predicted hydroforming process parameters ate generally a good starting point for the prototype tryout stage. The results of pretending, hydroforming analysis using FE model are good agreement with experimental results.

포항제철소에는 13개의 발전기가 있어 제철소에서 필요로 하는 전력을 자체적으로 945MWH 규모로 공급하고 있다. 발전소에서 사용되는 에너지원은 제철공정에서 부수적으로 발생하는 부생가스(BFG, COG, LDG, CFG)와 외부에서 구매하는 중유, LNG가 있다. 안정적인 전력공급과 비용절감을 위한 발전기 가동계획을 수립하기 위해서는, 조업상황에 따라 변동되는 전력소요량 및 부생가스 발생량을 예측하여 발전기별로 사용될 연료량을 배분하고, 발전기별 효율을 반영한 발전량을 결정하게 된다 이러만 발전기 가동계획 수립을 수작업에 의존하고 있어, 수시로 변화하는 상황에 신속한 대처가 곤란하고, 모든 요소를 고려하기가 어려워 에너지비용을 절감할 수 있는 기회손실의 우려가 있었다. 본 연구에서는 LP 및 NLP를 적응하여 발전기별 연료배분 및 발전량을 결정하는 과정을 자동적으로 수행하는 발전기 가동계획수립 Model을 개발하였다. Data 입·출력용으로 Excel, LP Package는 What's Best, Programming Language는 VBA(Visual Basic for Application)를 활용하였다.

Development of science technology, computer network and software technology has not only changed various areas of the society, but also brought rapid change in the condition and the way of performing war. Historical lessons learned from the war in Iraq tells that military capabilities corresponding to the new paradigms of war needs to be assured in order to preserve national interest and take victory in future warfare. Thus, the performance in the latest war in Iraq, the estimated performance in future war and the performance of war in the Korean Peninsula has been put together and analyzed to indicate the direction our force should be built and the structure to be improved. Under all circumstances and threats the military must defend our nation and territory. When war breaks out the military must perform it's basic duty to end war by decisive operations. As the saying is "To preserve peace, prepare for war," continuous increase of military strength and improvement of military structure corresponding to the change of national security environment and weapon system is necessary.

This paper describes the effect of new recognition unit, a unit based on semisyllable, and its post processing method. A recognition unit based on semi-syllable expresses Korean connected digit's coarticulation effect. An existing method using semi-syllable limits next models, derived from current recognized models, to make complete connected digit sequence. However, this paper uses a new method to make complete connected digit sequence. The new post-processing method recognizes isolated digit words which include digits sequence from the digit combinations being able to occur from current recognized semi-syllable sequence. This method gives an improved accuracy rate than that of existing method. This new post processing provides two advantages. 1) It corrects current mis-recognized semi-syllable unit. 2) When people say each digit, they say it without regard to saying duration.

This study was designed to determine what components of spoken language have been relatively neglected in the teaching of listening comprehension in Korea and to suggest a model of listening process. Two types of tests were undertaken using spoken and written forms of English with secondary school teachers of English and college students. Findings: Hearing power has been generally neglected in the teaching of listening comprehension. Hearing power which can be thought as an active process is defined as an ability to transfer the sequence of discrete phonetic segments without word boundary into the sequence of words in phonemic representations by using both nonlinguistic factors and linguistic factors including perception rules based on phonetics and phonology. Vocabularies, hearing-speaking power, syntactic structures and idiomatic expressions are to be taught for spoken English. A model of listening process was suggested and discussed.
