This study aims at developing and evaluating the cohousing teaching/learning plan for middle and high school. The plan was developed into 5 stages such as data collection and analysis, design, development, implement, and evaluation_ It was composed of 3 lessons with various teaching materials; the concept and necessity of cohousing, spatial composition, and making a cohousing village as the main theme. The 3 home economics teachers carried out the plan for 28 classrooms (1125 students) in 2 middle and I high school, during 23th, Aug., to 17th, Sep. 2010 in Kyunggido. The high level of understanding, learning processes, interest, satisfaction with the class reported by the students showed that the plan might be adequate to both high and middle school students. The teachers carried the lessons reported the similar positive responses to the plan with some suggestions to increase teaching hours, prepare class appliances, and prepractice the teaching materials.
We are implementing pedestrian priority zone policy to certain districts to reduce greenhouse gas and to develop eco-friendly city which has more focus on pedestrians' walking environment. This policy has contributed to citizens' satisfaction level with improved public transportation service as well as more spacious streets for walk. Despite highly positive influence of pedestrian priority zone policy to the walking environment, we need to anticipate the impact of this to traffic environment as it may have bad effect to the overall traffic flow around the zone where the policy is implemented. This research has analyzed the change of characteristics of traffic accidents around the eco-traffic area of Hang-Gung dong, Suwon city, to understand impact of the pedestrian priority zone policy to the traffic surroundings, with pre-post analysis methodology. As a result, number of accidents related to pedestrians showed decrease as pedestrian priority zone is designed operated with focus to pedestrians. But accidents related illegal U-turn and violation of the traffic signal showed (significant) increase as there was a restriction of turns and decrease of overall traffic speed. To prevent the accidents above, we need to notice drivers to pay special attention before the pedestrian priority zone event, and information from this research should be given to the drivers through safety signs and mobile application at the place near to the event.
This study identifies influence factors for Korean railway export and analyzes the importance and competitiveness of the factors. This study also suggests policy directions for each factor and analyzes the current situation of the Korean railway industry. All influence factors identified in this study turned out to have high levels of importance. Influence factors with higher importance levels for each field are as follows: man-power/experience and skill/technology in the engineering field; price, information and man-power/experience in the construction field; and information, technology, and price in the manufacturing field. However, the level of competitiveness of the factors turned out to be low. This study also suggested policy directions for each influence factor: overall, they turned out to have high levels of importance. Policy directions with high importance for each field are as follows: strengthening overseas' human network, training/educating experts for overseas projects, and accumulating experiences through Official Development Assistance projects in the fields of engineering and construction; and cost reduction and strategical cooperation with foreign companies in the manufacturing field. However, interviewees' satisfaction levels for each policy area turned out to be low. Finally, policy measures for Korean railway export for each influence factor were suggested.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between quality of life and demographic characteristics and health-related behavioral characteristics, and their relevance to variables that represent health conditions among metropolitan-dwelling older adults. The study subjects were 380 senior citizens aged 65 or older living in the D metropolitan area, and data collection was conducted by visiting them for interviews in June 2019. A binomial logistic regression analysis was performed to examine the relationship between independent variables (demographic characteristics, health-related behavioral characteristics, health condition variables) and the dependent variable (quality of life) while controlling for gender and age. As a result, the factors related to quality of life for those surveyed were education level, spousal status, living status, bear for living expenses, average monthly allowance, satisfaction with daily life, evaluation of sleep quality, smoking and eating habits, amount of regular exercise, hobbies, subjective health status, physical disability (if any), hearing ability, visual acuity, mastication ability, urinary incontinence (present or not), and amnesia. The above results suggest that quality of life for the elderly living in urban areas is significantly related to variables that indicate demographic characteristics, health-related behavioral characteristics, and health condition.

This study was conducted to compare the resilience, social support, psychosocial stress and burnout between novice and experienced nurses. Data collection was conducted using structured questionnaires for 65 novice nurses with less than one year of clinical experience and 70 experienced nurses with at least seven years of clinical experience working in general hospitals. The results revealed that the resilience of novice nurses was lower than that of experienced nurses, and there were significant differences according to educational level, job satisfaction, and subjective health status. Conversely, experienced nurses' resilience differed according to their position. In addition, the resilience of novice and experienced nurses showed the highest correlation with psychosocial stress (r=-0.633, p<0.001; r=-0.586, p<0.001), while novice nurses' social support (r=0.560, p<0.001) and experienced nurses' burnout (r=-0.404, p=0.001) showed the second highest correlations. These results demonstrate that the factors related to resilience of novice and the experienced nurses differ. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a differentiated program according to the characteristics of resilience of each nurse to improve the resilience of novice and experienced nurses.
The aim of this study was to the self-concept and ethical propensity of dental hygienists. The subjects of this study were 748 dental hygienists from January 23 to March 30, 2012. Data were analyzed with t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis SPSS 19.0. The average score of self-concept was 3.44 points in dental hygienists. The self-concept scores were higher in absolutists (3.53 points) and situationists (3.51 points) than subjectivists (3.35 points) and exceptionists (3.35 points) in the ethical types. The self-concept Influence factors were idealism, relativism, job satisfaction level, and annual salary. In order to help dental hygiene students adopt to rapidly changing society, the university should make efforts to develop a curriculum and program for improving self concept and ethical propensity.
This study was carried out in order to be utilized as basic data necessary for developing dental hygiene curriculum by confirming the difference in propensity level and the variables of having influence upon problem-solving ability of dental hygiene students and by grasping influence of relevant variables at the point of time that requires arrangement of a learning system for promoting problem solving ability aiming to train talents who have ability available for performing successful practical affairs. The influence of factors upon the problem solving ability had statistically significant relationship with academic year, interpersonal relations, school record, and major satisfaction. According to academic year, the problem solving ability of sophomore (B=-0.182, p=0.010) was shown the lower tendency than junior. The problem solving ability was lower in when being bad (B=-0.349, p=0.020) compared to when being good as for interpersonal relations, in when the mark is under 3.0 (B=-0.328, p=0.004) than over 4.0 as for academic achievement, and in when being dissatisfied (B=-0.483, p=0.005) than when being satisfied as for the major satisfaction. Hence, to train competent people who have ability available for performing successful practical affairs, the education is considered to be likely needed that has substantial problem solving ability for reinforcing problem solving ability by grasping a learning problem oneself without the differentiated curriculum, by establishing an alternative plan for solving problem, and by searching for and acquiring necessary data according to factors of having influence upon problem solving ability of dental hygiene students.

This study is aiming to analyze the relevance of rating criteria and these criteria may have effects on policy purpose of 'Construction Skilled Workers' Rank System', that are inflow of new comer, improvement of job performance, and decrease job-change. Closely related systems, electronic card system and prevailing wage system, are considered by assuming three scenarios, although they are not introduced yet. Empirical survey shows that the relevance is above average. The empirical result of regression also predicts that policy target might be mostly satisfied. Policy purpose is regressed on rating criteria, they are career, qualification, education and training, award. Career and award have positive impact on inflow of new comer. All four criteria have significant impacts on improvement of job performance. Award has strong effects on decreasing job-change. Especially, when electronic card system and prevailing wage system are adopted simultaneously with 'Construction Skilled Workers' Rank System', the level of satisfaction of policy purpose would be higher.
This study was attempted to analyze the effect of a note-taking strategy applied to blended learning adult nursing education. Data were collected from September 17 to October 15, 2021, and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program with a single group pre/post design targeting 33 nursing students. As a main result, learning motivation rose from 3.27 before class to 3.40 after class, but there was no significant difference(t=-1.501, p=.143), and class participation significantly increased from 2.95 before class to 3.27 after class(t=-2.669, p=.012). Motivation for learning before class was pre-class participation(r=.838, p<.001), learning motivation after class(r=.545, p=.001), and class participation after class(r=.462, p=.007) and each showed a significant positive correlation. Learning motivation and class participation according to gender(Wilks'𝛌=.866), class interest(Wilks'𝛌=.632), and class satisfaction(Wilks'𝛌=.822) were all higher than the significance level of .05, so they were no significant difference. Based on these results, applying a note-taking strategy to blended learning adult nursing education was effective in improving class participation. In a future study, it is necessary to verify the effectiveness by applying a note-taking strategy customized according to academic achievement.

This study was conducted as a preparation for the operation of 2007 revised curriculum and an effort towards professional development for Home Economics teachers in clothing life culture area. The aim of this study was to develop an teacher training program based on the clothing life culture in three kingdoms period, apply it to teacher training, and evaluate the program by analyzing the purpose of participation, trainee expectation and gratification, change of recognition level about Han culture, trainee satisfaction, and willingness to apply to teaching and attend further training program. The characteristic of the training program was that it consisted of both highly qualified lectures on professional contents and practices with school classroom level, and it dealt with the ancient korean clothing as its central subject. The purpose of the training program was to elevate the recognition of Han culture and increase the possibility of application in the classroom situation. It showed that the trainees participated with high intrinsic motivations, aiming to improve their professionalism in subject content and expecting various subject content. It also showed that the trainee gratification was very high in professional knowledge of clothing culture area, and the trainees were gratified in most evaluation items. As to the recognition level of korean culture, even before the training program, it was generally higher than average. After the program, it increased meaningfully. Through the training program, the trainees became feel prouder of Han culture and people and themselves as Home economics teachers. The contents of the program were considered very helpful for the improvement of professionalism and the design of instruction and learning activity. It was revealed that Home Economics teachers had very high expectations of the development of instruction-learning models which could enable them to experience new and interesting ideas, help enhance their professionalism, and be applied to their teaching. Therefore, continuous development and operation of the teacher training program relating to the life culture such as clothing, food, and housing life are needed.
