대전대학교(大田大學校) 부속(附屬) 한방병원(韓方病院) 소아과(小兒科)에 내원(來院)한 환자(患者)에 대한 실태(實態) 분석(分析) (Health Care Utilization of Pediatrics Outpatients in the Oriental Hospital)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate the attitude toward the oriental hospital among 100 pediatric outpatients. Methods : A questionnaire about the general characteristics of patients. the reason of choice or alteration was implemented. Results : 1. In distribution of sex & age, 60% was men and 40% women was between 2 and 6 years old. 2. In determinant factor for using Oriental medicine, 43.8% was tolerance increase of the western medicine and 33.0% was recommened by others. 3. In distribution of disease & therapeutic method, 62.5% was respiratory disease and 11.7% gastrointestinal disease, 64.3% was treated with oriental after Western medical therapy and 20.9% only Oriental medical care. 4. The changing causes for using Oriental after Western medicine, 35.9% was ineffective affect and 26.5% side effect. 5. The preference for using Oriental medicine, 41.6% was respiratory disease and 21.0% gastrointestinal disease. 6. The peculiarity of Oriental medicine compared with western medicine, 36% was effectiveness on the cronic disease and 14% for fundamental remedy. 7. The prodominance disease in Western medicine compared with Oriental medicine, 28% was operation, 18% common cold and 15% inflammatory disease 8. The questions about Oriental medicine, 22% was medical material's sanitation and place of origin, 18% harmness or not administered during long time. 9. The controversial point of Oriental medicine, 33.5% was expensive price and 27.7% difficulty of taking medicine. 10. In satisfaction degree of Oriental medicine, 69% was satisfied and 19% was very satisfied. Conclusions : Considering the above results, we have concluded that proper recognition about Oriental Pediatric medicine will be needed among patients.

  • Purpose: Healthcare is on the whole a personal and critical service that consumer's use, whereas hospitalization is as a rule painful, because nature nurtures and Sun Light Luminosity for healthcare settings is considered healing. The performance and design of climate responsive buildings such as AKU requires a detailed study of attributes of climate both at micro as well as macro level. The therapeutic value of contact with nature through window view, greenery and landscape is calculated there. Method: A two prong strategy is been devised for this article, at micro level three typical morphologies are analysed by creating same environment of neighboring building on sun shading chart, radiation and temperature range. Since the analysis of local climate helps to determine the design strategies for hospital Healing Environment which is suitable for Karachi climate; in order to track the macro climatic behaviour, a considerable analysis of psychometrics chart for AKU Karachi are designed on Climate Consultant (CC) and analysed by Machine Learning. Climate Consultant proposes different design strategies suitable for Karachi. And on the other hand time wise illumination sources for clinical area which are then measured on psychrometric chart- according to singular space: multi patient admission, secondly: acute ambulatory ward, and tertiary: multi windowed space according to the mushrabiyah and sky light pattern. Result: Our findings support the hypothesis that windowed wall is 75-80% more healing wall; an accelerated evidence was found for healing at macro level if the form of the hospital is designed according to the climatologically preferences, whereas at micro level: the light resource becomes the staff attentiveness determinant. In Conclusion evidence was provided that the actual form of luminosity results consequently in satisfaction while light entering from several set of windows and other sources might be valued if design according to the healing environment. The data added on the sun shading chart to calculate rays entraining into space in patient room equal to 124416.21 Watts/ meter $m^2$ is calculated as precise healing rate-and is confirmed by questionnaire from patients belonging from each clinical stage having different illnesses.

Possibility of a Standardized System for Task-Related Hierarchal Positions of Dental Hygienists

  • Background: Despite the demand for greater competence of dental hygienists in recent times, and the consequent standardization of systems in the organizations, there is a lack of a proper system for hierarchal positions of dental hygienists. The aim of this study was to identify the tasks performed by Korean dental hygienists in various work settings and hierarchal positions to suggest a standardized system for task-related hierarchal positions. Methods: A survey was conducted by sending questionnaires to 966 dental hygienists, and responses from 757 participants were included in the final analysis. The survey comprised questions regarding participants' general characteristics, tasks, current positions, and the internal policies or standards of the respective organizations to define these positions. The participants' positions were analyzed as frequency and cross-sectional analysis with respect to their general characteristics, their place in the organizational charts, the size of their workplaces, and differences in the tasks performed. Results: Data showed that 82.6% of the hospitals and clinics in Korea have organizational systems to determine the positions, and there was a significant difference in the systems according to the size of the health facility (p<0.05). The standards or policies used to define positions within general or university hospitals were determined by internal regulations or bylaws, whereas work experience was the major determinant of positions in smaller dental hospitals or clinics. The main tasks performed by dental hygienists in Korea were dental assistance (81.2%), routine dental hygiene tasks (53.4%), and administrative tasks, such as reception and billing (46.1%). Conclusion: Most dental hygienists in Korea are actively involved in dental assistance. Therefore, their specific tasks and responsibilities should be standardized more effectively. The data obtained from this study can be used to establish a standardized position system.

스마트폰 구매결정 요인이 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Smartphone Purchasing Determinants on Repurchase Intention)

  • The competition to acquire customers with repurchase intention is getting more and more intense in the saturated smartphone market. That is why the aim of this study is to investigate the difference in purchasing determinants between various age groups and gender. Furthermore we aimed to analyze which of the purchasing determinants influence repurchase intention. In order to gather information we conducted a survey on 252 respondents. We selected 5 purchasing determinants (A/S, H/W, switching cost, network effect and design) by conducting factor analysis and validity analysis. Then we analyzed how respondents of different age groups and gender perceived different purchasing determinants and analyzed the influence purchasing determinants have on repurchase intention. As for analyzing the difference of purchasing determinants throughout various age groups, the H/W, A/S, network effect showed a notable difference. The older respondents tended to consider H/W, A/S, network effect more importantly than younger respondents. When it came to comparing the results depending on the gender, male respondents tended to consider H/W factor more importantly compared to female respondents and the opposite was true for other factors such as A/S, switching cost, design, and network effect but there weren't any significant differences. Finally, out of various determinant factors, network effect and design turned out to have a considerable influence on repurchase intention. That is why it would be highly appropriate to say that if a company intends to boost repurchase intention, enhancing network effect and developing an effective design would be crucial. This study differs from other existing researches in that we analyzed respondents from different age groups and gender separately. Also unlike other researches we directly analyzed the influence purchasing determinants have on repurchase intention not customer satisfaction. This study is expected to serve as basic information that can be used to establish strategies both in an academic and practical level, allowing companies to boost the repurchase intention of the smartphone market.

Cable TV 홈쇼핑 이용 소비자의 특성 및 소비자 특성별 상품구매 결정요인 분석 (An Analysis on Consumer Characteristics and Determinants to Goods Purchase Decisions According to Consumer Characteristics in Cable TV Home-Shopping)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine determinant to purchase decisions by consumers using the home shopping of cable TV. For the purpose accomplishment, this researcher surveyed demographic characteristics of cable TV users to determine what differences in types of goods purchased by the users were made in accordance with the characteristics. Findings from the study may be reflected in bisiness policies seeking the fulfillment of consumer needs, and be used as a basic information for the establishment of consumer policies pursuing increased qualities of consumption life by providing information on goods shown through the of home shopping on cable TV. The result of the study can be summarized as follow. First, purchased goods were greatly different in their types depending on demographic characteristics of consumers such as gender, marital status, age, educational backgrounds, income and jobs. Second, experiential characteristics of cable TV users including holding or non-holding credit cards, main channels used, the main time of watching cable TV and purchase frequency per year contributed to differences in types of purchased goods. Third, factors influencing purchase decisions were somewhat different according to types of goods. However, previous purchase experiences were most influential irrespective of the types. The result as described so far suggests that previous purchase experiences by consumers raised their chances of repurchase by removing possible risks perceived by consumers. Based on the result as above, the researcher would make the following conclusion. First. companies operating the of home shopping on cable TV should increase satisfaction by consumers by providing reliable goods and information to them. In this sense, those companies need to establish marketing strategies that vary according to demographic characteristics of consumers and at the same time provide product information necessary for fulfilling consumers' requirements. Second, consumers should be moderate in the use of credit cards to avoid unplanned purchases via home shopping on cable TV and have some knowledge to solve problems related to goods and to the use of credit cards.

기혼 직장여성의 출산의도 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determinants of Married-Working Women's Childbirth Intention)

  • Postponing childbirth is becoming increasingly common and consequently serious social problem in Korea, among married-working women. It is relatively unknown which factors determine married-working women's childbirth intention. This study investigated the effects of demographical factors, labor market factors and social support factors on married-working women's childbirth intention. Data from a national survey of married-working women (Korean longitudinal survey of women and families) are used in this study. The findings are as follows. First, logistic regression analyses that married-working women's childbirth intention could be predicted by 1) personal characteristic factors such as age (p <.000), education level (p<.029), parenthood (p<.000) monthly pay (p<.01); 2) husband support factors, such as satisfaction with division of household labor (p<.009), time with family (p<.049) influence of family life on work (p<.083); and 3) institutional support factors such as regular position (p<.015), regression analysis showed similar results. Personal characteristic factors and husband support factors had statistically significant effects on the number of future children. Personal value factors such as traditional family support (p<.05) proved to be the best predictor of the number of future children. Institutional support factors, on the other hand, did not have statistically significant effect on the number of future children. In a nutshell, personal characteristics and husband support proved to be the most important determinant of married-working women's childbirth intention. The findings suggest that family friendly policy and flexible labor market policy will impact married-working women's childbirth intention.

  • 현대의 기업은 고객들의 다양한 소비 행태를 빠르게 찾아내어 급변하는 시장에서의 생존을 위한 기업간 경쟁의 핵심 가치를 찾아내기 위하여 노력하고 있다. 이는 백화점 업계의 경우도 마찬가지로 극도로 심해지고 있으며 서로간의 관계는 점점 더 호전적인 양상을 보이고 있다. 백화점의 경우 원가절감과 이윤확대의 주력은 단기적 생존수단이 될 수 있으나 이는 고객에게 제공하는 서비스의 품질 수준을 저하시킬 수 있는 위험도 내포하고 있다. 따라서 백화점 업계로써는 접점에서 이루어지는 서비스의 확실한 전략수립이야 말로 경쟁 우위 확보의 핵심 전략이라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 청주지역의 백화점을 대상으로 서비스 품질을 이용한 실증분석을 통해 다변화되고 있는 소비자 욕구에 부응하는 서비스 품질 요인을 추출하고 서비스 마케팅 전략에의 적용가능성을 살펴보는데 그 목적을 두고 있다.

라이프케어증진을 위한 체육수업 강박척도 개발과 타당화 (Scale Development and Validity on Obsessive Compulsive in Physical Education Class to Enhance Life Care)

  • 본 연구는 체육수업 참여 학생들을 라이프케어증진을 위한 체육수업 강박을 측정하기 위한 척도를 개발하고 구조적 타당성을 검증하는 데 목적을 두고 수행되었다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 절차로는 먼저 개방형 설문을 통하여 문항탐색과 적절성 평정을 실시한 후 예비판에 기초하여 확정판의 신뢰도를 분석하고, 구성개념 타당도를 점검하는 절차로 수행되었다. 예비판에 대한 요인분석을 거쳐 2차로 387명을 대상으로 자료를 수집한 후 문항분석과 요인분석을 수행하여 사회적 강박(4문항), 심리적 강박(3문항), 신체적 강박(3문항)으로 총 3개 요인 10문항의 최종 확정판을 완성하였다. 확정된 척도에 대하여 성별 및 수업만족에 따른 다변량 분석을 수행하여 외적 관계검토를 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 척도의 신뢰도는 .856에서 .907까지 높은 신뢰수준을 보였을 뿐 아니라, 타당성이 확보되어 라이프케어증진을 위한 체육수업 강박 척도로 입증되었으며, 이러한 척도를 활용하여 학교 체육현장에서 학생들의 체육수업 강박 측정을 위한 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

한국대학생들의 콘돔협상전략 탐색: 콘돔연구에서 협응적 관점의 제안 (Condom negotiation strategies of Korean college students: Interactive perspective of Sexual-risk behavior)

  • 콘돔사용과 관련된 기존 연구들은 일반적으로 콘돔태도, 통제감, 사용의지, 동기와 같은 각 개개인의 내적변인에 초점을 맞추어 왔다. 최근 소수의 일부 연구들이 콘돔사용을 한 개인의 행동결정과정으로 보지 않고 타인과의 협응적 행동결정과정으로 이해하는 콘돔협상의 개념을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 한국대학생들의 콘돔협상과정에서 선호되는 콘돔사용설득전략과 콘돔포기설득전략을 알아보기 위하여 186명의 대학재학생에게 콘돔을 사용하고자 상대방을 설득시킬 때와 콘돔을 사용하지 않고자 상대방을 설득시킬 때 가장 사용할 것 같은 전략을 자유응답문항을 통해 조사하였다. 또한 그 전략들과 성관련 변인들과의 관계를 알아보기 위해, 성관련연상단어와 콘돔사용에 대한 태도, 통제감, 의도와 행동 등을 측정하였다. 한국대학생들의 콘돔사용설득전략유형은 임신위험성강조, 책임감, 상대방배려, 성관계거부, 질병예방, 직접적 요구, 성적만족감무관 순으로 보고되었다. 반면에 콘돔포기설득전략유형은 임신위험성안심, 성적만족감강조, 책임감, 직접적 요구, 콘돔불신, 성관계거부의 순으로 보고되었다. 남녀, 성관계유무 등에 따른 차이와 기존 서구연구결과들과의 차이 등을 문화/사회적 특성들의 관점에서 논의하였고, 성교육에서의 여러 시사점을 제안하였다.

제품 디자인의 파급효과와 품질경쟁력의 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Effect of Product Design and a Primary factor of Qualify Competitiveness)

  • 본 연구의 분석목표는 제품 디자인의 결정요인을 추정하고 품질경쟁력, 제품 신뢰성, 고객충성에 대한 제품 디자인의 파급효과를 실증적으로 분석함으로써 디자인 경영이론에 유용한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 상기한 실증적 분석을 위하여, 한국 제조업 부문의 400개 표본기업에 대한 설문조사(2003년 8월${\sim}$10월)를 통하여 관련 측정변수들을 추출하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제품 디자인의 유의적 결정요인은 연구개발력 수준, 연구개발투자 수준, 혁신활동 수준(5S, TQM, 6Sigma 운동, QC 등)으로 추정되었다. 이 분석결과는 제품 디자인과 제품 개발을 동시적 엔지니어링(CE: concurrent engineering) 개념으로 파악하고 이들의 성과를 평가하기 위한 시스템관련 원리(system-related principle)와 행렬관련 원리(matrix-related principle)로써 서술한 Pawar and Driva(1999)를 실증적으로 뒷받침한다. 둘째, 제품 디자인의 파급효과는 제품 디자인${\rightarrow}$품질경쟁력${\rightarrow}$고객만족${\rightarrow}$고객충성의 인과관계로 나타나는 것으로 추정되었다. 즉, 제품 디자인은 고객만족을 직접적으로 유발하는 것이 아니라 품질경쟁력을 경유하여 간접적으로 고객만족을 유도한다는 것이다. 이 분석결과는 디자인 경영이 통합된 제품 품질의 중요한 결정인자라고 분석한 Flynn et al(1994), Ahire et al.(1996), Ahire and Dreyfus(2000) 등을 실증적으로 뒷받침한다. 일반적으로 제품 디자인의 접근방법으로써 3가지 즉 (1) 제품 개발자(엔지니어, 기술개발담당자, 품질관리팀)를 중심으로 하는 QFD(quality function development)의 접근방법, (2) 마케팅 담당자를 중심으로 하는 컨조인트 분석(conjoint analysis), (3) 상기의 2가지 접근방법의 상호보완적 및 동시적 결합 및 피드백의 주장(Pullman, Moore and Wardell, 2002)을 들 수 있다. 그러나 본 연구의 실증적 분석결과에는 품질경쟁력이 제품 디자인과 고객만족사이에 교량적 역할을 담당한다. 이 분석결과는 제품 디자인에 대한 품질경쟁력의 2가지 접근방법(QFD의 접근방법과 컨조인트 분석)의 조화를 이룰 수 있는 이론적 기초가 될 수 있다. 즉, 제품디자인의 결정요인 분석결과는 QFD의 접근방법에, 제품 디자인 파급효과 분석결과는 컨조인트 분석에 각각 보완적 기여를 할 수 있다. 이와 동시에, 실증적 분석결과는 Ettlie(1997)의 디자인 통합(DI) 이론에 대한 실증적 기반을 제공할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 성공적인 디자인 경영(DM)을 위해서는 최고 경영자의 지원뿐만 아니라 부처 간 의사소통의 장애요인을 제거하고 CFT(cross-functional team)를 운영함으로써 동시적 엔지니어링(CE) 및 제품 및 공정 디자인의 개발이 제품 개발의 속도를 가속화하고 디자인 품질을 높이며 시장 성공을 보증할 수 있도록 해야 한다.
