의복 불만족의 고차요인구조 -오프라인 의복구매 및 사용- (Higher-order Factor Structure of Consumer Dissatisfaction with Clothing -Off-line Purchase and Usage-)

  • This study investigates the ultimate factor structure of consumer dissatisfaction with the off-line purchase and usage of clothing. It identifies the determinant dimensions of consumer dissatisfaction on clothing purchase and usage and investigates the hierarchical structure of consumer dissatisfaction by assessing and comparing the effectiveness of five alternative factor structure models. A total of 300 women were online-surveyed to assess the level of dissatisfaction based on their dissatisfying experience with clothing purchases and usage in terms of product quality, price, salesperson's attitude, and store environment. The exploratory factor analysis identified the underlying dimensions of dissatisfaction: Handling, Aesthetics, Salesperson, Size, Price, Product Quality, Service, and Environment. By employing a first-order confirmatory factor analysis and higher-order confirmatory factor analysis, consumer dissatisfaction was confirmed to have a hierarchical structure with three second-order constructs Intrinsic instrument is manifested by handling, quality, and size, Intrinsic expression consists of service, salesperson, and environment, and Extrinsic circumstance contains aesthetics and price. On empirically demonstrating the multi-dimensional constructs of consumer dissatisfaction by identifying its hierarchical structure, the study provides the theoretical and practical insights to comprehend consumer purchase and post-purchase behavior. Specifically, it affords an empirical platform to extend the scope of research with condensed concepts of dissatisfaction to researchers. In addition, it also enables marketers to take a broader view of consumer dissatisfaction by providing cues about potential problems and identifying the source of those problems.

패션수입업체의 내부마케팅 요인이 판매원의 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Internal Marketing Factors in Import Apparel Company on Job Satisfaction)

  • The main purpose of this research is to investigate the present circumstances of internal marketing in domestic apparel-import company and study if the internal marketing activities in import apparel company have a significant effect on salespersons' job satisfaction. As a preliminary investigation, the interviews with 6 expert salespersons of imported apparel company were taken to develop a practical measuring tool. As a result, 21 categories which effect on internal marketing and 6 factors which influence on job satisfaction were extracted. Next, a survey with the salespersons who work in apparel-import company was taken, and 186 collected data were used in this study. To analyze the data, factor analysis, frequency analysis, and multiple regression analysis are executed by a statistics package, SPSS v12.0. The results are as follows. First, five factors which effect on internal marketing activities in have been identified as welfare, incentives, employment & training, communication, empowerment. Among them, four factors of welfare, incentives, employment & training, and communication have been come out as statistically significant factors which influenced on salesperson's job satisfaction. Second, the internal marketing activities of import apparel company according to salesperson's demographic factors - payment, working periods, and marriage have been demonstrated significant difference on salespersons' job satisfaction. When the marriage is examined, the job satisfaction of the single mostly depends on incentives while that of the married does on welfare. On the consideration of working periods, the less does the group have working experience, the more does it have a dependence on incentives. On the other hand, the group which has much payment and experience mostly relies on welfare. The middle class show to be dependent on communication and employment&training as well as welfare and incentives.

신규 패션브랜드 평가속성에 대한 소비자 위험지각과 정보탐색에 관한 연구 (New Fashion Brand Evaluation Attributes related to Risk Perception and Information Search)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the new fashion brand evaluation attributes influenced by risk perception and its relationship with information search. As for the method of the research, questionnaires were given to 311 consumers who just finished shopping at new fashion brand stores. The results of this study were as follows: 1) New fashion brand evaluation attributes consisted of five factors; product experience attributes, celebrity credence attributes, product search attributes, brand credence attributes, salesperson search attributes. 2) New fashion brand evaluation attributes were found to be significantly influenced by risk perception. 3) The amount of information seeking and the use of information sources were found to be significantly related to the new fashion brand evaluation attributes. 4) The variables influencing on the new fashion brand evaluation attributes were age and monthly clothing expenses.

증권사 영업사원의 개인성향이 PI저항에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on Impacts of the Personality of Brokers of Securities Company on PI Resistance)

  • This research analyze the impact factors that affect the PI resistance of securities brokerage salespersons during Process Innovation in securities companies focusing on the broker's individual personality. After reviewing some related literatures, a survey was conducted at a domestic securities company with the derived factors from a focus group of securities salesmen with over 10 year work experience. The results show that broker's individual propensity to innovation, individual customer relationship and individual flexibility are closely related to the PI resistance. By controlling such factors for salespersons, securities companies can boost the ability to meet and control the changing situation and management innovation.

의류브랜드 소비자의 고객관계관리 경험에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 남성복, 여성복, 캐주얼, 스포츠의류 소비자의 비교를 중심으로 - (A Qualitative Research about the CRM Experiences of Apparel Brand Customers)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to analyze customer relationship management(CRM) based on the online customer experiences by product types (i.e., men's, women's, casual, sports wear), 2) to analyze CRM based on the off-line customer experiences by product type, and 3) to examine customer purchase behavior of fashion products and internet usage behavior by product types. Survey and 1:1 interview were conducted from January 13th to May 16th, 2005. Six consumers from each brand (i.e., 3 loyal customers and 3 general customers) in a total of 24 customers were selected from each product type. For the data analysis, content analysis and descriptive statistics (i.e. frequency) were used. Among the key study findings first, as a result of the on-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear preferred receiving customized information through e-mail or SMS service. The customers of sports wear preferred receiving a different level of information and participating in customized product service. Second, as a result of the off-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear need to be encouraged to join a membership at a sales encounter and the customers of women's wear preferred receiving quick information of new products and participating in a design development planning of the merchandising process. Third, the purchasing behavior of the customers of women's wear are influenced mostly by the salesperson and the store atmosphere when they purchase clothes and the customers of men's wear are price-sensitive. The results of this study can be used when fashion brands perform strategic planning and decision making on CRM.

Tone in Text and the Effect on Trust and Choice Confidence in Online Fashion Shopping

  • Consumers' psychological demands for e-tail shopping have increased as websites have become one of the most dominant retail outlets for various fashion products. The lack of realistic social stimuli in virtual contexts (websites) has been a major limitation for many online shoppers. Prior research has focused on the viable role of technology to improve positive social factors in e-tailing; however, this study tests the role of tone in text in fashion e-tail sites on consumers' trust and choice confidence. We conducted a self-administered online survey with 309 individuals from the U.S.. The results indicated positive effects of casual tone in text-based content of a fashion e-tail site on trust and confidence. Trust also has a significant positive effect on confidence. Both trust and confidence improved purchase intention. Given the high price of employing an avatar or simulated salesperson online, using tone in text to increase positive social effect on shoppers can be a positive alternative when managers plan e-tail strategies contributing to consumers' positive shopping experience online. Discussions and study limitations are provided.

의복추구혜택에 따른 중.노년기 여성 세분시장의 구매기준 및 패션정보원 비교분석 (Comparison of the Purchase Criteria and Fashion Information Sources for the Middle-aged and Elderly Women's Fashion Markets Segmented Based on Benefits Sought)

  • The purpose of this study was 1) to segment the middle-aged and elderly women's fashion market based on the clothing benefits sought by the buyer and 2) to compare the purchase criteria and fashion information sources among the segmented markets. The data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire in Seoul and its surrounding suburban areas. Factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test, and Dunnett's T3 tests were used to conduct the data analysis from 285 out of 300 questionnaires. The middle-aged and elderly women's fashion market was segmented into four groups; value-oriented, social status/trend-oriented, uniqueness-oriented, and protection/ convenience-oriented. All four groups were significantly different in terms of purchase criteria and fashion information sources. The social status/trend-oriented group used external purchase criteria, such as country of origin or brand and obtained fashion information from personal experience, advice from the salesperson, and celebrities. The protection/convenience-oriented group sourced fashion information from newspapers, the internet, and the radio. The uniqueness-oriented group put less importance on practical use/convenience criteria. Marketing strategies for these segmented markets were discussed.

  • The advent of Omni Channel has changed the fashion business model and the role of fashion sales persons. In such situation, internal marketing can become an important organizational management strategy for fashion companies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the components of internal marketing of fashion companies for fashion shop masters in an omni channel environment. To achieve the purpose of this study, To achieve the purpose of this study, a qualitative study was conducted to investigate the internal marketing sub-factors of fashion companies. In-depth interviews were conducted for qualitative study. Seven respondents to the in-depth interview were fashion shop masters who had at least 10 years of field work experience. As a result of the qualitative study, internal marketing was derived from five factors, including empowerment, education and training, rewards, internal communication, and management supports. Empowerment factors consist of initiative, encourage creativity, and problem solving. Education and training factors consist of the degree of education and training opportunities, the value of education and training, and the scope of education and training. Rewards factors consist of diversity of rewards, fairness of rewards, and source of rewards. Internal communication factors consist of communication flexibility, diversity of communication and receptivity of communication. Management support factors consist of headquarters support and department store support.

중년남성의 쇼핑성향에 따른 아웃도어 스포츠웨어 구매행동 (Middle-aged male consumers' outdoor sportswear purchase behavior of according to shopping orientation)

  • This study examined outdoor sports wear purchase behaviors among middle-aged male consumers based on outdoor sports wear shopping orientation. Data research was conducted on 300 internet users in their 40s and 50s located all parts of the country. The SPSS 24.0 software program was used to conduct data analyses such as descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, $x^2-test$, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan test as a post-hoc analysis. The results of this study were as follows: Firstly, outdoor sports wear shopping orientation was identified with fivefactors : the tendencies of wanting to show off a brand name, conservative purchasing, economical purchasing setting a high value on a salesperson, and impulse purchasing. Secondly, the middle-aged male consumers were classified in to three groups by the cluster analysis: a rational group, an indifferent shopping group, and pursuit brand shopping group. Thirdly, the evaluation criteria of products were significantly different depending on outdoor sports wear shopping orientation subdivision in all factors. Fourthly, in the case of fashion information sources regarding outdoor sportswear, significant differences were found according to shopping orientation subdivision in mass media/store source, personal source/ prior shopping experience. Fifthly, all types of stores were significantly different depending on shopping orientation subdivision except for large discount stores.

제약회사 영업사원의 마케팅-영업-인터페이스능력이 영업성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Marketing-Sales-Interface Capability on Sales Performance for Medical Representative in Pharmaceutical Company)

  • 마케팅-영업-인터페이스(MSI) 능력은 영업사원들이 시장에서의 지식과 경험을 보다 효과적으로 조직 내부 자원들과 소통하는 능력으로서 영업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 제약회사 영업사원의 마케팅-영업-인터페이스(MSI) 능력이 직무만족도를 통해 영업성과에 영향을 미치는 매개효과를 분석하였다. 전국 제약회사 5곳의 영업사원을 대상으로 2021년 4월 15일부터 4월 23일까지 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 257부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 분석 결과 영업사원이 지각하는 MSI능력은 직무만족도 및 영업성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 보였다. 또한 제약회사 영업사원이 지각하는 MSI능력은 직무만족도를 매개하여 영업성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 보였다. 분석결과는 제약회사 영업사원의 영업성과 향상을 위해 MSI능력과 직무만족도의 중요성을 시사하며, 직무만족도의 매개효과에 주목하여 영업사원 관리와 관련된 방안 마련이 필요함을 보여준다.
