우리나라 물류기업 특성요인과 근로자 임금격차에 대한 분석연구 (A Study on the Characteristic Factors of Logistics Companies and the Wage Gap of Workers in Korea)

  • 본 논문에서는 개별적 기업을 대상으로 표본을 수집하여 심층적으로 근로자 임금(평균연봉)에 대해 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 한다. 기업의 근로자 평균연봉과 함께 초임 평사원의 평균연봉에 대해서 깊이 있는 분석을 하고자 한다. 구체적으로 초임 평사원의 학력별로 초대졸, 대졸, 대학원졸 평균 연봉에 미치는 기업 규모, 자본과 노동의 생산구조, 사업의 주된 분야의 영향을 설명하고자 하였다. 물류기업의 초임 평사원의 평균연봉 차이는 매출액에 미치는 주된 사업이 결정적 요인변수이며, 학력과 관련하여 초대졸과 대졸은 외항여객화물운송업 및 항만운영및하역관리업이 높은 연봉을 제공하였고 육상화물운송업 및 창고업은 낮은 연봉을 제공하고 있었다. 그 외에도 우리나라 물류기업은 본사지 위치, 종업원 수, 매출액 대비 인건비 비중, 매출에 미치는 주된 사업의 4개 특성요인간에 모두 관련성을 가지고 있었다. 이 같은 사실이 서울 소재의 외항여객화 물운송업이나 기업물류대행업, 복합운송및국제운송중계업은 대기업이며, 인건비 비중은 낮으며 자본·기술·정보 집약적 투자에 더 많은 비중을 가진 사업구조라는 사실이다.

The Polarization of Wealth: The Effect of Support of Knowledge Management on Knowledge Management Activity and Company Performance

  • This study attempts to verify effects of CEO' supports, compensation and educational training and those of individual annual salaries and company's sales on promotion of knowledge management expected to contribute to enhancing construction industry's competitiveness, from the perspective of person-organization fit. For the analysis, a total of 368 effective questionnaires were used to conduct independent sample t-test, regression analysis and hierarchical moderated regression analysis. The findings show that individual annual salaries have a positive relationship with company's performance and company's sales also have positive relationships with both knowledge management activities and company performance, and CEO's supports, compensation and educational training are important factors that can improve knowledge management activities. In addition, the principle that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer is also operated in construction industry, as in other industries. Therefore, members in a company should conduct optimal strategies to enhance the knowledge management activities through selection and concentration, while governmental agencies require the establishment of IT system for it and supports for related cost and consulting of it.

패션 기업 근무자들의 직무 스트레스 유발 요인에 관한 질적 연구: 패션제조업체를 중심으로 (A Qualitative Study on Factors Related to Job Stress for Fashion Corporation Employees: Focusing on Fashion Manufacturing Companies)

  • The fashion industry has distinctive characteristics. It is important to understand the specific working environment and unique problems at fashion corporations in order enhance employee efficiency. However, studies on job stress for fashion employees remain limited. This study used qualitative research to examine major job stress factors for fashion company workers. In-depth interviews were conducted on 6 respondents who work in various departments at fashion manufacturing companies. We identified task-related factors and structural factors as the two major job stress factors. Task-related factors consisted of 4 elements (necessity of massive knowledge, overtime outside work, tight schedules, and organizational tasks); structural factors consisted of 3 elements (burden of sales outcome, formal relationships, and anxiety of salary retirement). The results indicated that respondents consistently tried to gain knowledge about the latest trends and field experiences that caused mental and physical exhaustion due to the necessity of working late. Designers and workers in the sales department were constantly evaluated by their sales results compared to other workers that caused high levels of stress. Respondents answered that building relationships was an important factor in the fashion industry and sometimes felt that building formal relationships was more important than the ability to do work.

Association between unpredictable work schedule and work-family conflict in Korea

  • Background: As unpredictable work schedule (UWS) has increased worldwide, various studies have been conducted on the resulting health effects on workers. However, research on the effect of UWS on workers' well-being in Korea is still insufficient. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between UWS and work-family conflict (WFC) using 6th Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS). Methods: Both UWS and WFC were measured using self-reported questionnaires, using data from the 6th KWCS conducted between 2020 and 2021, including 31,859 participants. UWS was measured by questions regarding the frequency of changes in work schedules and limited advanced notice. WFC was measured by questions regarding work to family and family to work conflicts. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to investigate the association between UWS and WFC. Results: The prevalence of UWS was higher among men, those under 40 years old, service and sales workers and blue-collar workers, and those with higher salaries. Workplace size also influenced UWS prevalence, with smaller workplaces (less than 50 employees) showing a higher prevalence. The odds ratio (OR) for WFC was significantly higher in workers with UWS compared to workers without UWS after adjusting for gender, age, marital status, occupation, salary, education, weekly working hours, shift work, company size, and having a child under the age of 18 years, employment status (OR: 3.71; 95% confidence interval: 3.23-4.25). Conclusions: The analysis of nationwide data revealed that UWS interferes with workers' performance of family roles, which can lead to WFC. Our findings suggest that it is crucial to implement policies to address unfair work schedule management, promoting a healthier work-life balance and fostering a conducive environment for family responsibilities.

AI 중소기업 바우처 지원이 기업성과에 미치는 영향: PSM-DID 결합모형을 활용한 정책효과 분석 (The Impact of Voucher Support on Economic Performance for AI Companies: Policy Effectiveness Analysis using PSM-DID Model)

  • 전세계적으로 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 디지털전환을 위해 국가적 역량을 집중하고 있는 상황에서 국내 AI 기업 육성이나 AI 산업생태계 환경조성은 더디기만 하다. 정부는 대내외적으로 힘든 경제상황을 타개하기 위해 거액의 공적자금을 투입하고 있으나 그 효과에 대한 체계적 연구는 미진하다. 이런 이유로 본 연구는 성향점수매칭(PSM)과 이중차분법(DID)을 활용하여 정부 인공지능 솔루션 바우처 지원 사업이 수혜기업의 경제적 성과에 미치는 정책효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 실증분석을 위해 정보통신산업진흥원에서 공개한 AI 중소기업 정보 중 바우처 지원 이력이 있는 461개 기업을 대상으로 2019년 이후 매출 실적을 활용해 PSM-DID 분석을 수행하였다. 실험군과 대조군을 비교 분석한 결과 수혜기업은 정부지원 이후 자산증가, 임금, 연구개발비 등이 전반적으로 증가한 반면, 수익측면에서는 유의미한 기여도를 확인할 수 없었다. 이는 AI 바우처 정책사업이 단기적으로 기업 외형성장에 직접적인 기여를 하였으나 수익창출 여부는 중장기적 시간이 필요하다는 점을 시사한다.
