컴퓨터가 다양한 목적에 이용됨에 따라 신뢰도가 높은 즉 고장허용의 전산체계의 필요성은 증가되고 있다. 임상응용의 경우 컴퓨터의 오동작은 치명적일 수 있고 또 공정제어의 경우 귀중한 자원의 막대한 손실을 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 고장허용의 전산체계에 관한 연구는 필연적이다. 역사적으로 최초의 고장허용의 전산체계는 SAGE와 같은 군사적인 응용에 시도하였다. 2절에서는 이러한 신뢰도가 높은 기계의 시험적인 결과와 실제 운영의 경험에 입각한 고장허용의 전산체계의 설계원리를 논한다. 이어서 3절에서는 현재까지 설계된 고장허용 전산체계의 구조를 기술하며 4절에서는 현재까지 범용의 컴퓨터에 사용한 고장허용기법을 소개한다.

This study was designed to verify the effect of aromatherapy on menstrual cramps and dysmenorrhea by a quasi experiment (nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design), from March to October, 2000. The subjects of this experiment consisted of 45 college women with menstrual cramps and dysmenorrhea. They were randomized by 25 for the experimental group and 20 for the control group. Their mean age was 20.6 years, mean menstrual period 28.7 days, mean menstrual cramps(VAS) 7.25, mean dysmenorrhea (Dysmenorrhea Scale) was 27.34. As treatment, aromatherapy was to give effleurrage of the abdomen with lavender, clary sage and rose as aroma oil, almond oil as carrier oil. For the control group, abdominal massage was given with only almond oil. Data collection included menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhea, the change of symptoms(low abdominal pain, lumbago, headache, nausea, fatigue, edema). Menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhea and general, menstrual characteristics of subjects were measured the first day of the pre menstrual period before treatment (pre-test), menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhea, the change of symptoms were measured the first and second day of post menstrual period after treatment (posttest). Data were analyzed by t-test, $\chi^2$- test, repeated measures ANOVA, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ with SAS Program. The results of this study was as follows; 1. Menstrual cramps was significantly lower in the experimental group(p = .001). 2. Dysmenorrhea was significantly lower in the experimental group(p = .027). 3. Less women in the experimental group complained about the six symptoms than women in the control group after treatment on the first day of the menstrual period(p < 0.05, p < 0.01) In conclusion, these findings indicate that aromatherapy with lavender, clary sage, and rose could be effective to decrease menstrual cramps, and dysmenorrhea. So, aromatherapy could be applied to women suffering with menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhea periodically as an nursing intervention.

In order to deposit a homogeneous and uniform ${\beta}$-SiC films by chemical vapor deposition, we constructed the phase-diagram of ${\beta}$-SiC over graphite and silicon via computational thermodynamic calculation considering pressure(P), temperature(T) and gas composition(C) as variables in $C_3H_8-SiCl_4-H_2$ system. During the calculation, the ratio of Cl/Si and C/Si is maintained to be 4 and 1, respectively, and H/Si ratio is varied from 2.67 to 15,000. The P-T-C diagram showed very steep phase boundary between SiC+C and SiC region perpendicular to H/Si axis and also showed SiC+Si region with very large H/Si value of ~6700. The diagram can be applied not only to the prediction of the deposited phase composition but to compositional variation due to the temperature distribution in the reactor. The P-T-C diagram could provide the better understanding of chemical vapor deposition of silicon carbide.

소건 대멸치의 저장${\cdot}$유통 중 저장안정성을 부여하고자 건조 전항산화제를 처리하여 $37^{\circ}C$에 저장하였을 때 대멸치의 지질산화는 BHT를 첨가한 것이 현저하게 억제되었으며, 그 다음으로 ${\alpha}-trlcopherol$, rosemary 추출물, sage 추출물의 순이었다. 대멸치에 있어서 ${\alpha}-tocopherol$과 rosemary 추출물을 혼합처리한 항산화제의 항산화력은 BHT의 산화억제효과와 거의 비슷하였으며, 그 적정농도는 rosemary추출물 $0.1{\%}$와 $tocopherol\;0.1{\%}$를 혼합한 수준이었다. 건조한 대멸치를 $25{\circ}C$에 저장하였을 때 진공포장한 것이 항산화제의 산화방지 효과를 증대시키는 효과가 있었다.

To identify genes whose expression correlated with biological features of therapy-related AML (t-AML), we analyzed the expression profiles of de novo AML t(9;11) and t-AML t(9;11) bone marrow samples using previously published SAGE data. Three-hundred twenty-nine transcripts that satisfied statistical (P<0.05) and magnitude-of-change ($\geq$ 4-fold) criteria were identified as differentially expressed between de novo AML t(9;11) and t-AML t(9;11) cells. Of these transcripts, 301 (91%) matched known genes or ESTs and were classified according to functional categories (http://david.abcc.ncifcrf.gov/). The majority of differentially expressed genes in t-AML t(9;11) were involved in the regulation of biological and metabolic processes. Especially prominent among these were genes related to immune and drug responses. These results establish a framework for developing new drugs for the treatment of t-AML.

Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM) has developed a high efficient Stirling cryocooler with moving magnet linear compressor for precooling hydrogen liquefier and cooling high temperature superconductor (HTS) devices, such as superconductor cable and superconductor fault current limiters. Hydrogen liquefier and HTS electric devices require cryocooler with cooling capacity of hundred watts to kilowatts at 77 K. The compressor in the Stirling cryocooler uses opposed moving magnet linear motors to drive opposed pistons. High efficient Stirling cryocooler is designed by SAGE-software, manufactured and tested systematically. A cooling capacity of 1 kW at 77 K with an electric input power of 9.6 kW has been analyzed. But prototype test results of the Stirling cryocooler have the cooling capacity of 0.65 kW at 76.8 K with an electric input power of 8.1 kW. And then, 21.5% Carnot COP (Coefficient of performance) of the prototype Stirling cryocooler is achieved. The comparison analysis between SAGE-model and experimental results has shown the direction for further design optimization of the Stirling cryocooler.

본 연구에서는 PCB 도금 및 에칭 공정 중 발생한 슬러지의 분석을 통해 건식환원처리가 가능한 슬래그 시스템을 선정하고자 하였으며 이를 바탕으로 슬러지 내에 존재하는 유가금속의 회수 가능성에 대하여 실험적 및 열역학적 검토를 하였다. 슬러지는 $100{\sim}500^{\circ}C$의 온도구간에서 건조한 후 슬러지의 형상과 화학성분 및 상을 분석하였다. 슬러지의 건식환원처리 가능성은 FactSage를 이용한 열역학적 계산을 통해 조사하였다.

"노자"에서 도(道)는 존재의 법칙이면서 완전한 가치이다. "노자"에서, 존재의 법칙으로서의 도는 우주의 유기적 질서를 의미하고, 완전한 가치로서의 도는 모든 가치 평가의 절대 근거이다. "노자"에서는 도를 가치 평가의 절대 근거로 하는 가치 절대주의 이외의 가치론들도 수용되지만, "노자"의 가치론의 이상은 도를 가치 평가의 절대 근거로 하는 가치 절대주의의 보편화이다. "노자"에서 성인(聖人)의 존재와 현존재들의 덕(德)의 내면화는 가치 절대주의의 보편화를 가능하게 하는 두 가지 주요 조건이다. 이러한 조건들을 구비한 현존재들은 도를 체현하게 되고, 그 결과 가치 절대주의가 보편화된다. 이 과정에서, "노자"의 가치 절대주의 이외의 다른 가치론들은 소멸하게 되어, "노자"의 도를 가치 평가의 절대 근거로 하는 가치론만이 존속한다. "노자"의 가치 절대주의가 보편화되면, 현존재들은 무위(無爲)하게 되어, 현동(玄同)이 이루어진다.

수운 최제우의 시천주(侍天主)는 인간이 천주를 모셔야 한다는 의미이다. 그는 성경신(誠敬信)을 다하여 천주를 내 마음 속에 모셔야 한다는 윤리를 제시하였다. 그것은 천주가 인간에 내재되어 있기도 하지만 외재성이 더 강한 데에 근거한 윤리이다. 반면에 인간의 주체성이 강조된 유교적 윤리로서 선왕(先王)의 고례(古禮)와 인의예지(仁義禮智)를 제시하기도 한다. 그의 시천주는 해월 최시형에 이르러 인간의 주체성이 강조된 인시천(人是天)으로 변화한다. 그에 대한 윤리로서 사인여천(事人如天)이 제시된다. 또한 경천(敬天) 경인(敬人) 경물(敬物)의 윤리를 제시하였다. 수운의 윤리가 주로 경천이었다면 경인과 경물로 확장된 것이라고 할 수 있다. 그것은 의암 손병희에 인간의 주체성이 더욱 강조되어 인내천(人乃天)으로 변화하고 그 윤리로서 자성(自誠) 자경(自敬) 자신(自信) 자법(自法)의 윤리가 제시된다. 더욱이 유교적 윤리인 인의예지도 문서라고 말할 정도로 그 주체성이 보다 심화된 윤리로서 선(善)을 제시하였다. 해월의 윤리는 수운의 윤리에 대하여 확장된 것이지만 의암은 수운의 윤리에 대한 변화라고 할 수 있다. 의암의 변화는 수운의 윤리와 무관하게 새롭게 정립한 것이 아니라 인간의 주체성을 강조한 것이다. 이처럼 동학의 윤리관이 확장되고 변화했던 원인은 수운에서 찾을 수 있다. 그는 유교의 시대가 끝났다고 개탄하면서도 인간주체성이 강조된 유교윤리의 영향이 남아 있었다. 이 때문에 해월을 거쳐 의암에 이르기까지 인간주체성이 강조된 윤리로 변화했던 것이다. 물론 유교윤리의 영향만으로 보기는 어렵다. 당시 유행했던 범신론과 사회진화론의 영향도 있었던 것이다.
