The presence of defects in nature changes the physical parameters of the rock. In this paper, by studying the rock-like specimens with conjugated fractures, the horizontal angle and length are changed, and the physical parameters and failure modes of the specimens under uniaxial compression test are analyzed and compared with the results of simulation analysis. The experimental results show that the peak strength and failure mode of the rock-like specimens are closely related to the horizontal angle. When the horizontal angle is $45^{\circ}$, the maximum value is reached and the tensile failure mode is obtained. The fracture length affects the germination and propagation path of the cracks. It is of great significance to study the failure modes and mechanical properties of conjugated fracture rock-like specimens to guide the support of fractured rock on site.

Small & medium companies in Korea have a high frequency of industrial injuries. And among them, manufacturing companies are most severe on side of the frequence rate of injuries. In this study, the measures to improve the safety management system of small & medium sized manufacturing companies in 4 city of Kyungpook are sampled in accordance with the type of industrial and the scale. The current status of management system are also investigated by the questions and answers from safety manager of those companies. The results obtained by this study were the improvement of main factors(safety education & training, safety device, working environment, safety consciousness) for industrial accident prevention.

The investment for industrial disasters prevention can not help but get accomplished in negative way. At this point, the most effective way to diminish industrial disaster outbreak is the very subject should strive to prevent it by itself However, it's still the times that we place more weight on economic development no economic subject would not positively self-participate in it for the investment for industrial disasters prevention without my effect of numerical reduction. In this view, this study will tv to entirely analyze and grasp the economic toss due to industrial disasters at construction sites, and will present the most suitable safety-investment. As a result, in domestic construction sites, averagely $1.6\~2.6\%$ of the entire construction expenses had been invested for safety expense. The according to the result of the analysis, basically this safety investment expenses should be spent $2.4\%$ over to reduce the saffey-accidents stably.

The study on semiconductor industrial accident in korea has been focused on frequencies of each type, employee, characteristics, cause and un-safety condition, behaviour and so on. Those attributes of semiconductor industrial accidents were usually analyzed independently, so that it was hard to provides a well-process and systematic guide lines for efficient safety management. There fore, there were a few studies based on comprehensive survey in terms of sharp-type of safe management. The questionnaire survey carried out for the workers(284) who were responsible for safety management in to center with corporate company with semiconductor industry the factor analysis showed that there were three factor of safety management. They were 1) Investment and operation and management for accident prevention, 2) Unsafe, safety management 3) General human error and behavior the industries of respondents were correlative with three group. Three Groups showed a statistically significant differences on the number of cases. Actually, the group with the larger investment and the better unsafe cause, human error a of accident prevention had a smaller cause of accident cases.

A person's body resistance in the waterpark, public bath and similar places is lower than any other places due to effect of water. So low voltage may create a shock hazard for the human body in case of leakage or fault currents from lighting unit etc. We researched the related regulations these are internal standards, NEC, IEC and investigated the actual conditions for the prevention of electrical shock due to lighting units in the waterpark, public bath and similar places. So we could present actual facilities's problems and solutions

기업의 운영에서 안전한 생산 근로 환경은 중요한 요소이며, 공급 사슬 관리상의 물류기업에도 필수적이다. 본 연구는 대형 물류기업과 계약을 체결하여 거래관계를 지속하고 있는 국내 중소 물류기업의 관점에서, 안전 분위기와 안전 예방 활동이 안전 행동과 긍정적인 관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 아울러, 앞선 긍정적인 관계에 규제 불확실성과 경쟁 불확실성의 조절적인 역할도 실증적으로 살펴보았다.

Notorious press machine bothers employers by causing so many industrial accidents which are mostly of caught-in or between type. In 2008, press machines caused 1665 cases of such type of accidents, which reached about 11% of all those. Even though various approaches has been adopted to prevent those press machine accidents, up to now, no one was found to be satisfactory. In this study, two kinds of companies, accident-occurred and accident-free by press machine, were surveyed to find out positive and negative factors for accidents prevention. 400 companies which experienced accidents in 2008 and 200 companies which did not experience accident at all during the same period were selected for this survey. Most of these companies are small companies that employ less than 50 employees. Even though small companies are exempted from legal obligations to have a safety management system for accident prevention, we surveyed about safety management systems of those companies because of its crucial importance for accident prevention including whether they appointed safety managers and various supervisors. Awareness and efforts for safety of employers and employees were also measured. Results were analysed by the method of cross tabulation analysis. Main findings of this study are as follows. Most accident-occurred companies did not appoint any safety manager or supervisor. While it is recommended that the workplace of high accident rate have a safety manager. In addition, as less employers' effort for safety was made in accident-occurred companies in order to prevent accidents during press processing, the author proposes an amendment to the relevant law. Finally, the most referred reason for the negligence of hazard is the cumbersomeness in installing safeguards.

Public acceptance has become the most critical question for sustainable development of nuclear energy in recent decades. Many researches concentrated on risk and benefit perception, which were deemed as the most influential factors of Public Acceptance of Nuclear Energy (PANE). But few researches focused on psychological factors including regulatory focus. Therefore, this paper aimed to explore the moderating effect of regulatory focus on PANE based on Regulatory Focus Theory in order to find ways to increase/decrease PANE. An Internet-based survey had been carried out in China nationwide. The results indicated that trust in government was positively related to PANE and this relationship was mediated by risk and benefit perception. In addition, the strength of the associations between risk and benefit perception and PANE were moderated by regulatory focus, consisting of prevention focus and promotion focus. Prevention focus strengthened the negative relationship between risk perception and PANE, while promotion focus weakened. Moreover, promotion focus weakened the positive relationship between benefit perception and PANE, but no significant moderating effect of prevention focus was founded on the relationship between benefit perception and PANE. Some policy implications were also proposed on the basis of above-mentioned findings.

이 연구는 안전관련 민간기관을 연구범위로 하여 산재 감소와 사고예방을 위한 민간기관의 활성화 방안을 도출하기 위하여 민간기관의 운영현황과 민간기관 운영실태를 조사 정리하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 민간기관에 대한 정의, 역할과 활동, 인식을 조사하고 분석하여 산재 예방 감소를 위한 민간기관의 활성화 방안을 제시 하였다. 따라서 산재 예방과 감소를 위해 안전관련 민간기관의 역량, 전문성, 신뢰성 향상과 정부기관, 공공기관, 안전 민간기관 간의 실질적 사고 예방을 위한 역할 정립에 이정표가 될 것으로 기대되며 산재예방사업 시장의 활성화와 사고예방 정책의 수립에 활용 할 수 있을 것이다.

The elevator is an essential part of the transportation means in modern society. It has become the convenient movement means of vertical and horizontal mobilities for vulnerable citizens including the disabled or elderly in skyscrapers and the multi-purposes facilities. After the 1990s, the number of newly installed elevators have increased because of the establishment of large scale public houses which need an increase of means of transportation. Thus, the safety accident in the elevator has been currently in an increasing trend as years passed by because that the elevator is always exposed to the risk of accident. Most of the elevator accidents occur in the escalator and moving walkway. This study investigated the current usage situations of users at multi-purpose shopping spaces, the sub way, and the airport about the escalator including moving walkway. Moreover the accident types were analyzed for the escalator based on 10 years of statistics. And the methods for the accident prevention were proposed on the equipment, management and user side.
