드론 영상을 이용한 딥러닝 기반 회전 교차로 교통 분석 시스템 (Deep Learning-Based Roundabout Traffic Analysis System Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Videos)

  • Roundabouts have strengths in traffic flow and safety but can present difficulties for inexperienced drivers. Demand to acquire and analyze drone images has increased to enhance a traffic environment allowing drivers to deal with roundabouts easily. In this paper, we propose a roundabout traffic analysis system that detects, tracks, and analyzes vehicles using a deep learning-based object detection model (YOLOv7) in drone images. About 3600 images for object detection model learning and testing were extracted and labeled from 1 hour of drone video. Through training diverse conditions and evaluating the performance of object detection models, we achieved an average precision (AP) of up to 97.2%. In addition, we utilized SORT (Simple Online and Realtime Tracking) and OC-SORT (Observation-Centric SORT), a real-time object tracking algorithm, which resulted in an average MOTA (Multiple Object Tracking Accuracy) of up to 89.2%. By implementing a method for measuring roundabout entry speed, we achieved an accuracy of 94.5%.

Bolt looseness detection and localization using time reversal signal and neural network techniques

  • It is essential to monitor the working conditions of bolt-connected joints, which are widely used in various kinds of steel structures. The looseness of bolts may directly affect the stability and safety of the entire structure. In this study, a guided wave-based method for bolt looseness detection and localization is presented for a joint structure with multiple bolts. SH waves generated and received by a small number (two pairs) of magnetostrictive transducers were used. The bolt looseness index was proposed based on the changes in the reconstructed responses excited by the time reversal signals of the measured unit impulse responses. The damage locations and local damage severities were estimated using the damage indices from several wave propagation paths. The back propagation neural network (BPNN) technique was employed to identify the local damages. Numerical and experimental studies were conducted on a lap joint with eight bolts. The results show that the total damage severity can be successfully detected under the effect of external force and measurement noise. The local damage severity can be estimated reasonably for the experimental data using the BPNN constructed by the training patterns generated from the finite element simulations.

속도위반 단속 허용범위 개선안 제시 및 효과 추정 (Improvement and Estimation of Effect for Speed Limit Tolerance)

  • 낮은 제한속도 환경에서 무인 교통단속 장비의 속도위반 단속 허용범위는 매우 높으며. 이는 제한속도 준수율이 낮은 주요인 중 하나이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 무인 교통단속 장비의 속도위반 허용범위를 개선하여, 새로운 제한속도별 허용범위 기준을 제시하였다. 먼저 운전자에게 과속을 유발할 수 있는 운영자·이용자 측면의 오차 실효성을 분석하고, 분석 결과에 따라 단속 장비 오차와 내비게이션 GPS 속도 오차를 적용하여 허용범위 개선안을 제시하였다. 또한, 허용범위 개선 시 운영자 측면에서 장기적으로 기대되는 사고율 및 사고 심각도 등 안전성 효과를 추정하였다. 추정 결과 모든 제한속도의 도로구간에서 제한속도 준수율, 사고율, 속도 변화에 따른 심각도별 사고건수 변화율, 보행자 교통사고 사망률 모두 개선되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 속도위반 단속 허용범위 개선안이 도입될 경우, 추정한 개선 효과와 같이 도로의 안전성이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.

ANSIM 문서관리시스템에서 연구로사업 문서흐름 (Document Flow for the Research Reactor Project in ANSIM Document Control System)

  • A document control system (DCS), ANSIM (KAERI Advanced Nuclear Safety Information Management) was designed for the purpose of documents preparation, review, and approvement for JRTR (Jordan Research and Training Reactor) project. The ANSIM system consists of a document management, document container, project management, organization management, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) document folder. The document container folder run after specific contents, a revision history of the design documents and drawings are issued in KAERI. The EPC document work-scope is a registry for incoming documents in ANSIM, the assignment of a manager or charger, document review, preparing and outgoing PM memorandum as attached the reviewed paper. On the other hand, KAERI is aiming another extra network server for the NRR (New Research Reactor) by the end of this year. In conclusion, it is the first, computation system of DCS that provides document form, document number, and approval line. Second, ANSIM increases the productivity of performance that can be recognized the document work-flow of oneself and all participants. Finally, a plenty of experience and knowledge of nuclear technology can be transmitted to next generation for the design, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning. Though this, ANSIM is expected to allow the export of a knowledge and information system as well as a research reactor.

제조업의 생산직 근로자의 상지 근골격계 증상에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Musculoskeletal Symptoms of Manufacturing Workers)

  • This study aimed to examine the general characteristics of individual workers, psychosocial working environment, and ergonomic risk factors which affect the status of musculoskeletal disorders. Self-report was carried out for musculoskeletal symptoms and ergonomic risks in working environment in 856 production workers in 16 small to medium sized manufacturing companies. Musculoskeletal symptoms were examined with a standardized questionnaire, and ergonomic risks were evaluated with a qualitative self-administered instrument for the tasks related to musculoskeletal disorders. Major findings were as follows: 1) Complaint rate for musculoskeletal symptoms was higher in female, aged, married workers with longer working hours, less leisure/hobby activity, longer household working hours and history of disease or accident. 2) Complaint rate for musculoskeletal symptoms was significantly higher in workers with dissatisfaction, difficult tasks, and no self-control at work. 3) Complaint rate for musculoskeletal symptoms was significantly higher in workers involved in tasks with major ergonomic risk factors, and handling heavy equipment. 4) Explanatory power increased the model with the musculoskeletal symptoms as dependent variable and demographic variables, psychosocial working environment and ergonomic risk factors included, and total explanatory power of 18.6% revealed the significant effect. Based on the results, we can conclude that musculoskeletal symptoms in manufacturing workers are associated with individual demographic characteristics, psychosocial working environment and ergonomic risk factors.

전사적 PL 대응시스템의 핵심요인이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Essential Companywide Components of PL Response System on Company's PL Performance)

  • PL (Product Liability) refers to the legal responsibility of a manufacturer or seller for bodily injuries or property losses caused by product defects. Therefore, it is important for companies to construct a product liability response system that strategically manage and effectively adapt to product liability. A PL response system refers to companywide operations of PL prevention (PLP) measures, product safety (PS) measures, and PL defense (PLD) measures appropriate for a company's scale and environment. To establish an enterprise product liability response system, each essential component of corporations should be systematically operated and maintained considering the scale and characteristics of the corporations. Essential components of PL response system is Strategy, Organization, Training, Technology, Investment, and Awareness. Role of essential components is that companies need specific strategies to secure product safety and protect customers from product defects, and appropriate organizations must be composed for effective operation of such strategies. The objective of this paper seeks to examine the relationships among the essential components of the product liability response system and PL performance. PL performance consists of positive performance and negative performance. In particular, positive performance include increased efforts in product or process innovation such as strengthening research and development (R&D) to produce safer products without defects. In order to carry out this research we obtained 98 questionnaire of manufacturing company. A summary of the analyses is as follows: First, the awareness and technology among essential components affect significantly to the positive performance. Second, the awareness and strategy among essential components negative affect to the negative performance.

한국 공공도서관의 재난대비 실태와 대응방안 연구 (A Study on the Present Condition and Countermeasure Plan for the Disaster Protection in Public Library of Korea)

  • 최근 세계 각 지역에서 지진과 태풍 및 쓰나미와 같은 각종 재난과 재해에 관한 뉴스가 보도되는 가운데 우리나라에서도 역시 지진이나 테러 등의 영역에서 자유롭지 못한 것으로 여겨진다. 도서관 역시 많은 이용자가 출입하는 장소로 각종 재난의 대책을 미리 준비하여야할 기관이다. 이에 연구자는 서울. 대전, 전북지역의 공공도서관 75곳을 대상으로 비상시 재난대책에 관한 현 실정을 분석하였다. 각 도서관마다 재난의 유형별 발생 원인과 복구방안 등을 검토하였고, 도서관 운영 중 재난관리상의 요소와 시설 및 장비요구 인적담당요원의 고용과 배정실태 및 이용자를 위한 안전강좌의 시행과 교육방법등 4가지요소를 기초로 면밀히 조사 분석하였다. 검토 후 각 요소별에 따른 문제점 분석과 함께 그 해결방안 및 미래 재난대책을 위한 개선점과 제안점 등을 정리하였다.

2019년도 인천 FIR 공중 충돌 위험도 분석 (2019 Incheon FIR Aerial Collision Risk Analysis)

  • 항공 교통량이 증가하는 상황에서 공역의 안전도를 유지하기 위해서는 현재의 공중 충돌 위험도에 대한 면밀한 분석이 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 무인기의 탐지 회피 시스템을 위해 개발된 위험도 지표인 DWC (detect and avoid well-clear)를 이용해서 2019년에 인천 비행정보구역을 통과한 모든 항공기에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 항적은 ADS-B (automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast) 데이터를 이용하였으며, 위험도가 높게 나타나는 위치를 파악하고, 공항별, 시기별 국내 공역의 위험도를 분석하였다. 위험도는 교통량이 많은 인천공항과 김포공항 주변, 그리고 8월에 높게 나타났다. 분석 결과는 항로와 절차의 개정, 종사자 교육 훈련 등 각종 항공 안전 증진 활동의 바탕이 될 것으로 기대된다.

푸드뱅크 기탁식품의 안전성 확보를 위한 HACCP 제도 적용 (Implementation of HACCP System for Safety of Donated Food in Foodbank Organization)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the problems arising from the actual conditions of the Foodbank, and to implement the HACCP system as a solution in terms of increasing the safety of donated food within the Foodbank. In order to apply HACCP system, the entire Foodbank working process such as preparation, collection, transportation, division, and distribution was considered and analyzed to decide the application point for CCPs. Donated foods mainly consisted of processed foods, raw materials, lunch boxes, and cooked foods from mass catering establishments, which dominated over the others in terms of quantity. Cooked foods were divided into three groups based on menu-types and processing methods. Temperature, pH, and aw were measured on cooked foods, and Total Plate Count, Coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, and E. coli O157:H7 were conducted in order to apply a HACCP plan. From these experiments, temperature, pH, and $a_w$ of donated food were likely contributed to microbial growth. Donated foods before HACCP implementation showed high numbers in terms of total plate count and Coliforms, both well over the acceptable standard levels. By setting the CCPs on maintenance of donated food below $10^{\circ}C$ and using a $75^{\circ}C$ reheating method, microbiological hazard levels were able to be controlled and lowered. From these results, it is concluded that in order to guarantee food safety, foods donated to the Foodbank must not only maintain a reasonable level of initial microbiological growth, but also must be handled properly through time and temperature controls within the Foodbank system. Furthermore, in terms of implementing the HACCP plan within the Foodbank management structure, basic food safety and sanitation measures, such as reheating facilities and various cold chain systems such as refrigerated vehicle for food transportation are importantly needed. The training and education of Foodbank personnel and management in areas such as awareness of hygiene and safe food handling and practice are also required and necessary.

전용부두 계류중인 실습선의 선체거동 해석 및 제어에 관한 연구 (Behavior Analysis and Control of a Moored Training Ship in an Exclusive Wharf)

  • 최근 이상적인 자연현상으로 인해 돌풍, 태풍 및 쓰나미 등 비상상황이 자주 발생하고 있고, 이로 인해 항내 계류선박은 선체거동을 미리 예측하여 해석하고, 선체거동을 제어하지 못해 계류선박의 계류시스템이 손상되면 해양사고가 발생할 수 있다. 따라서 계류시스템의 손상이 예상되는 경우 정량적 판단에 의해 항내 계류할 것인지 아니면 항외로 피항할 것인지 결정할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 외력에 의한 계류선박의 거동해석 및 계류시스템 제어를 위해 대학내 전용 부두에 계류중인 실습선을 대상으로 계류안전성을 평가하였다. 계류삭의 최대장력을 분석한 결과, 파주기 12초 및 15초인 경우에는 대부분 허용강도(S.W.L)를 초과하는 것으로 분석되었다. 계선주에 작용하는 최대견인력을 분석한 결과, 해당 위치에 설치된 지 노후화된 소형 계선주에 다수의 계류삭을 체결함으로서 모든 평가 Case에서 계선주 허용규격인 35톤을 초과하는 것으로 분석되었다. 선체동요 및 하역안전성 평가결과 파주기 12초 이상 및 풍속 25노트 조건에서는 Surge 운동의 한계값인 3.0미터를 초과하는 것으로 분석되었다. 그 결과를 토대로 계류시스템 제어를 위한 판단기준이 되는 풍속, 파고 및 파주기 등의 주요 외력조건별 고위험, 위험 및 보통 위험 등 3단계의 리스크 매트릭스(Risk Matrix)를 작성하여, 계류시스템 제어를 위한 판단기준이 되는 위기관리 대응매뉴얼로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
