KANO 모형 기반 안전요구사항 평가 (Assessing Safety Requirements Based on KANO Model)

  • As the first step of risk management, risk identification is inevitable to understand the degree of work safety. However, the safety requirements can be divided in necessary factors and additional factors. Thus, we propose a safety requirements assessment model using Kano model derived from Herzberg's two-factor theory, classifying safety requirements into ideal elements and must-be elements. The Kano model is usually applied to evaluate customer satisfaction divided into three major requirements in the fields of product development and marketing: attractive, must-be, and one-dimensional requirements. Among them, attractive requirement and must-be requirement are matched with ideal element and must-be element for safety requirement classification, respectively. The ideal element is defined as preventive safety elements to make systems more safe and the must-be element is referred to as fatal elements to be essentially eliminated in systems. Also, coefficients of safety measurement and safety prevention are developed to classify different class of safety requirements. The positioning map is finally visualized in terms of both coefficients to compare the different features. Consequently, the proposed model enables safety managers to make a decision between safety measurement and prevention.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the impact of FSSC 22000 food safety management system characteristics on the business performance of food-related companies and to verify the mediating effect of organizational capabilities in the relationship between them. Methods: To achieve this, a survey was conducted among employees of food companies in Seoul and the metropolitan area that have implemented the FSSC 22000 food safety management system, and the following main results were derived. Results: First, the FSSC food safety management system factors, such as measurement/analysis and improve- ment, documentation, management responsibility, and service and product realization, were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on organizational capabilities. The relative impact was in the order of measurement/analysis and improvement, documentation, management responsibility, and service and product realization. Second, organizational capabilities were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on business performance. Third, the FSSC food safety management system factors, such as measurement/analysis and improvement, management responsibility, resource management, and documentation, were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on business performance. The relative impact was in the order of measure- ment/analysis and improvement, management responsibility, resource management, and documentation. Fourth, the factors of management responsibility, resource management, measurement/analysis and improvement, and documentation, excluding resource management factors, were found to have a positive impact on business performance through the mediation of organizational capabilities. Conclusion: The results of this study may provide important implications for the implementation and efficient operation and management of the FSSC 22000 food safety management system in enhancing the business performance of food-related companies.

A Study on Evaluation of Whole-Body Vibration from Vehicle for Different Road Surfaces

  • The purpose of this study is the measurement of whole-body vibration for different road surfaces. Experimental measurements were taken on asphalt, cement, and off-road surfaces as defined by ISO 2631-1. Each experiment was conducted under the same set of conditions (measurement duration, times, speed, vehicle type). Measurement duration was 10 minutes and 3 separate measurements were taken on each road surface. Vehicle speed was 60km/h. In accordance with ISO 2631-1, an acceleration sensor is set up between the driver's seat and the human body. For evaluation, RMS(root-mean-square) values were taken as suggested by ISO 2631-1. The results suggest "health guidance caution zones", and the evaluation was based on obtaining the vector sum with "health guidance caution zones".

  • In this paper, we implement a portable bioelectric signal measurement system for the safety of industrial workers. The developed system consists of two parts: the one is boielectric signal measurement unit and the other is signal analyzer system with PDA. The former includes signal processing part, A/D convertor, and 8051 based microprocessor, the latter includes software for signal analysis and display. The developed system detects industrial worker's ECG and displays and stores it to PDA. The ECG data in PDA can be transmitted to PC located in a distance, allowing a doctor to review the ECG and make a treatment decision. A doctor analyzes the ECG data and gives medical treatment to industrial worker.

  • This paper summarize about the auxiliary electrode measured a ground resistance The method to measure a ground resistance is the fall-of-potential method to using an auxiliary electrode. And an auxiliary electrode must be set up on the ground. Today it is so difficult to set up the auxiliary electrode on the ground because of many concrete building and many paved roads. So this paper is regarding of the ground resistance measurement by the substitute auxiliary electrode. It substituted a iron structure around the building, a wire net for auxiliary electrode. This information is confirmed by compared with the measurement value.

  • To improve the road transportation safety, the road traffic data is monitored by applying an image detection system. The road traffic safety is analysed using image processing techniques. For more accurate measurement, the coordinate matching of real road data to image is one of the most essential parts of the image detection technique. The road image is skewed at the input screen, because the video camera is installed at the roadside. A fast and precise algorithm for the coordinate matching is developed to convert image coordinates into road coordinates.

  • There are many reason for unsafety action without safety operation. The reason is no standard safety operation in company or the workers never get a enough education. Standard safety operation is prepared by paper for accurate directions and orders and operators must read the paper to prevent an error of action. Also an essential particular is safety of equipment and machine must be assumed to establish standard safety operation then safety of operations will be possible.

  • 본 연구는 산업현장 요양재해율 증가 및 중대재해처벌법 시행에 따라 산업재해 예방 대책의 필요성 차원에서 부각되고 있는 산업안전디자인의 도입시 경제적 성과를 측정하기 위한 모델을 개발하는 연구이다. 이를 위해서 이론 및 문헌연구 차원에서 산업안전관리와 산업안전디자인의 개념과 산업안전 분야에서의 경제적 성과 측정에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 이론 및 문헌연구을 기반으로 사용자 의견 설문을 통하여 관련한 지표들의 초안에 대한 의견을 수렴하고, 전문가들을 대상으로 포커스그룹 인터뷰와 델파이기법을 수행하면서, 모델을 고도화하는 연구를 진행하였다. 객관성 확보를 위하여 회귀분석으로 산업안전디자인의 도입과 비용절감효과, 매출증대효과와의 인과관계를 검정하였다. 이와 같은 단계를 거쳐서, 최종적으로 1단계 재해손실비용 절감 효과 기반의 모델과 2단계 매출액 증대 효과 기반의 2가지 산업안전디자인의 경제적 성과측정 모델을 개발하였다. 실제 산업현장에 적용하기 위해서는 단순한 체크리스트를 넘어서는 산업안전디자인의 서비스 수준 계약 정도에 대한 표준으로써 제시될 수 있어야 한다.

  • There has been a steady rate of accident in Coal Thermal Power Plants which have relatively higher chance of mortality. However, neither the systematic view of safety management nor the methodology such as safety factors or system requirements are yet to be studied in detail. Therefore, this study aims to propose a methodology to preemptively deal with safety issues and to secure fact focused responsibility in safety. It consists of two main parts. First, the Safety Measurement Index(SMI) with total 50 factors is proposed by analyzing the key factors that contribute to safety accidents based on failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and quality function deployment (QFD). To analyze the safety requirements, index presented by major countries and organizations are discussed. Second, main features of intelligent CCTV are studied to determine their relative importance for the framework of Smart Safety Management System (SSMS). Main features are discussed with four technological steps. Also, QFD was held to analyze to analyze how key technologies deal with Quality Measurement Index(QMI). The research results of this study reveal that scientific approaches could be utilized in integrating CCTV technologies into a smart safety management system in the era of Industry 4.0. Moreover, this reasearch provides an specific approach or methodology for dealing with safety management in Coal Thermal Power Plant.

변형률 측정을 이용한 추진기관용 Al 합금의 파괴인성 평가 (Evaluation of Fracture Toughness of Al alloys for Propulsive Engine using Strain Measurement)

  • The tincture toughness is evaluated by using U(compact tension) and 3PB(three point bending) specimens of AI alloys far propulsive engine. To evaluate the static fracture toughness, strain gage method is used. The static fracture toughness obtained from the strain measurement is compared with the results by ASTM standard and FEM analysis. For the reliable evaluation of fracture toughness, strain gages are attached at various positions.
