텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용한 설문 문항 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Questionnaire Improvement using Text Mining)

  • 국민의 해양안전문화 수준을 객관적으로 측정하고 해양안전문화 확산을 위한 자료로 활용하고자 2018년에 해양안전문화지수를 개발하였다. 안전문화지수를 산출하는 방법은 안전문화에 영향을 줄 만한 이슈를 포함해야 하고 현 실태를 측정할 수 있는 문항으로 구성되어야 한다. 또한, 사회적·경제적 변화에 따라 지속적인 검증과 보완이 요구된다. 해양 전문가에 의해 설계된 설문 문항이 국민의 관심사와 요구를 잘 반영하고 있는지 확인하기 위해 915명의 해양안전 관련 제안 내용을 분석하였다. 비정형 데이터인 해양안전 제안 내용을 분석하기 위해 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하였으며, 네트워크 분석과 토픽 모델링을 수행하였다. 해양안전 제안을 분석한 결과 '교육', '홍보', '안전수칙', '의식', '전문 인력', '시스템'에 관한 내용이 주를 이루었다. 해양안전 제안 사항이 2019년 설문 문항에 반영되도록 18개의 문항을 수정·보완하였고, 설문 문항의 신뢰도를 분석한 결과 내적 일관성은 0.895로 높게 평가되었으며 전년 대비 향상되었다. 해양 관련 전문가뿐만 아니라 국민의 요구사항까지 반영한 개선된 설문 문항으로 해양안전문화지수를 도출함으로써 해양안전문화 확산을 위한 정책 수립에 더 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The safety of buildings is generally estimated by analyzing a plane frame ignoring a minor bending moment. In this paper, uncertainties of reinforced concrete shear wall subjected to a biaxial bending are considered. First, major parameters are selected from all parameters of general shear wall design to perform a reliability analysis in their practical ranges, means and standard derivations of selected design parameters for the reliability analysis are calculated by a data mining as a simulation method. The bi-section method is used to find inclined neutral axis and its limit state using MATLAB subjected to the concept on strength design method. The reliability index $\beta$ as a safety index is calculated based on AFOSM(Advanced First-Order Second Moment) method. Also, if target reliability index $\beta_T$ is decided by an engineer an amount of reinforcement can be calculated by subtracting the reliability index $\beta$ from the target reliability index $\beta_T$.

Z-index와 주파수 분석을 이용한 유도전동기 고장진단과 분류 (Fault Detection and Classification of Faulty Induction Motors using Z-index and Frequency Analysis)

  • In this literature, fault detection and classification of faulty induction motors are carried out through Z-index and frequency analysis. Above frequency analysis refer Fourier transformation and Wavelet transformation. Z-index is defined as the similar form of energy function, also the faulty and healthy conditions are classified through Z-index. For the detection and classification feature extraction for the fault detection of an induction motor is carried out using the information from stator current. Fourier and Wavelet transforms are applied to detect the characteristics under the healthy and various faulty conditions. We can obtain feature vectors from two transformations, and the results illustrate that the feature vectors are complementary each other.

  • The construction industry by its nature retains higher level of danger where the smallest of error may lead to a major catastrophe endangering many workers and public safety as well as provoke social criticism. With the aid of quantitative statistical data on safety-related calamity analyzed till this day, this paper handled in depth the analysis of diseases other than the accidents, and selected new variable indexes that influence the indirect sections of calamity that are mostly concealed and incorporated them in a new model. For the factor selection of new calamity evaluation model, FRAT(Frequency, Recency, Amount, Type of merchandise/service)technique of customer-related management in marketing was applied, and as for the significance of each factor in the weight selection of variables. Consequently, considering the graveness of the FRAT itself through safety management experts, the related researches must be expanded.

  • It has been well known that traffic accidents occur under combined functional contributions of drivers, vehicles and road facilities, and that evaluation of safety levels for a specific road section or point is generally much complicated. Additionally, most of traffic accidents occur randomly implicating it is necessary to be evaluated in terms of probability theory. Thus, the evaluation model which reflects various characteristics and probabilistic distributions of traffic accidents has been necessary. The present paper provides a reliability based model with variables of probabilistic operating speeds and design speeds together which have been individually explaining associated characteristics in traffic accidents. Consequently, the model made it possible for speed management and road improvement projects to be evaluated in a common index. Application studies were performed in three cases. Through the studies, couples of facts were identified that the model successfully considered the probabilistic operating speeds and design speeds together and that then, the model evaluated road safety alternatives relatively which are complicatedly characterized and differently located.

운수업체의 안전관리를 통한 교통사고 감소 효과분석 (천사 2020 프로젝트를 중심으로) (Accident Reduction Effectiveness of Safety Management Programs for a Commercial Transport Company)

  • 본 연구는 운수업체에 대한 안전관리 시행에 따른 교통사고 감소효과 분석을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 운수업체에 대한 안전관리 시행 전 후 비교 및 비교대상그룹과의 교통사고지수 변화량의 차이를 분석하였고, 안전관리를 통한 순수한 시행효과 분석을 위해 운수업체의 교통사고 사고지수 변화 트렌드 및 평균회귀량을 산출하여 제거해주는 방법을 이용하였다. 본 연구결과를 종합해 보면, 운수업체에 대한 안전관리는 전반적으로 운수업체의 교통사고예방에 기여효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 효과는 안전관리 강도별, 운수업체 규모별로는 차이가 있는 반면 업종별로는 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았고, 이들 조합에 따른 상호간 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 향후 운수업체에 대한 안전관리의 효율성을 높이기 위해서는 안전관리방식의 동일한 적용이 아닌 업체규모와 연계한 안전관리방식의 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.

A Study on the Probabilistic Risk Analysis for Safety Management in Construction Projects

  • 건설 분야의 산업재해가 차지하는 비율은 전체 산업의 29%로 고위험군산업에 해당한다. 또한 다양한 공정이 존재하며, 소수의 관리자가 다수의 근로자를 관리하고 감독하는 특성상 위험도 관리가 필수적이다. 따라서 공사의 종류 및 공법에 따라 체계적이고 과학적인 위험도분석 방안을 마련해야 하며, 작업현장의 위험도를 점진적으로 완화하고 개선해야한다. 본 연구에서는 도로 교량공사 공종별 안전사고 발생확률 자료 및 전문가 데이터를 기초로 하고 확률론적 접근 방법인 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 활용하여 신뢰도 있는 위험지수를 산정할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고 평가하였다. 리스크 식별은 도로 교량공사를 토공사, 배수공사, 교량공사로 구분하여 전문가 데이터를 바탕으로 발생가능한 안전사고를 분류하였다. 도로 교량공사의 토공사, 배수공사, 교량공사의 세부공종별로 위험지수를 도출하였다.

Experimental investigation of predicting rockburst using Bayesian model

  • Rockbursts, catastrophic events involving the violent release of elastic energy stored in rock features, remain a worldwide challenge for geoengineering. Especially at deep-mining sites, rockbursts can occur in hard, high-stress, brittle rock zones, and the associated risk depends on such factors as mining activity and the stress on surrounding rocks. Rockbursts are often sudden and destructive, but there is still no unified standard for predicting them. Based on previous studies, a new Bayesian multi-index model was introduced to predict and evaluate rockbursts. In this method, the rock strength index, energy release index, and surrounding rock stress are the basic factors. Values from 18 rock samples were obtained, and the potential rockburst risks were evaluated. The rockburst tendencies of the samples were modelled using three existing methods. The results were compared with those obtained by the new Bayesian model, which was observed to predict rockbursts more effectively than the current methods.

Effectuality of Cleaning Workers' Training and Cleaning Enterprises' Chemical Health Hazard Risk Profiling

  • Background: Goal-oriented communication of risk of hazards is necessary in order to reduce risk of workers' exposure to chemicals. Adequate training of workers and enterprise priority setting are essential elements. Cleaning enterprises have many challenges and the existing paradigms influence the risk levels of these enterprises. Methods: Information on organization and enterprises' prioritization in training programs was gathered from cleaning enterprises. A measure of enterprises' conceptual level of importance of chemical health hazards and a model for working out the risk index (RI) indicating enterprises' conceptual risk level was established and used to categorize the enterprises. Results: In 72.3% of cases, training takes place concurrently with task performances and in 67.4% experienced workers conduct the trainings. There is disparity between employers' opinion on competence level of the workers and reality. Lower conceptual level of importance was observed for cleaning enterprises of different sizes compared with regional safety delegates and occupational hygienists. Risk index values show no difference in risk level between small and large enterprises. Conclusion: Training of cleaning workers lacks the prerequisite for suitability and effectiveness to counter risks of chemical health hazards. There is dereliction of duty by management in the sector resulting in a lack of competence among the cleaning workers. Instituting acceptable easily attainable safety competence level for cleaners will conduce to risk reduction, and enforcement of attainment of the competence level would be a positive step.
