The Avata Construction System for Image Lossless Scaling (이미지 손실없는 확대/축소가 가능한 아바타 생성 시스템)

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented Avata construction system using XML(extensible Markup Language) and SVG(Scalable Vector Graphic). The Web character created with Avata(or Web character) construction system are displayed in same (on without damage of image, regardless terminal type and user can modify and change image easily in form that want. Compare with existing Web character system, the Reusability of web character part element Is increased greatly with Avata construction system of this paper. Because SVG is described by text, graphic retrieval is convenient, and applications can use easily SVG document. Also, SVG can create web graphic document dynamically with database because can access easily in all graphic primitives of line, Polygon, text, image etc. As well as web character using study finding, we may develop usable technology to some contents on World Wide Web.

  • Svg(Scalable Vector Graphics) is xml graphic standard recommended by E3C as a language based on xml to express two-dimension graphic. Svg can accommodate all Xml's patency and advantage of interoperability, and can used as various web applications being combined with other xml language. In addition, Svg can be applied to the fields of electronic commerce, geographical information, computer education and advertisement because it can produce high quality of dynamic from real-time data. SVG's application can be enhanced by linking with database. In this paper, we discuss how Svg can be utilized in theater reservation system, not just explaining svg's meaning or ability. Svg added graphic advantage in addition to xml's advantage. This means that svg retains not only graphic element but also xml's softness. It becomes easier to designate seats and add them. Current reservation system provided in general only information on time and price for a ticket, but the system using SVG in this paper provides additional information on position, price, cancellation and purchase availability of seat.

  • As an emerging technology in Computer graphics areas, SVG(Scalable Vector Graphic) makes it possible to make use of Vector graphics for servicing maps in basic internet browsing environment. SVG based thematic map Internet GIS system implemented by this research is free of special server side GIS mapping system and client side extra technology. It provides high-quality vector map which can interact with the user, template map which can be used for other purpose, glance the future map based on Webservices technologies. Many good characteristics of SVG in mapping at computer screen and reusability of SVG document provide new era of visualzation of geographic information.

  • A rapid development of Internet is changing users' desire from existing static contents to dynamic and diverse ones. Thus the SVG provides more affluent and sophisticated graphic expressions than an existing method based on bitmap, it can faithfully display vector graphics without scarifying any functions or the problem of device compatibility. In addition, it allows indexing, searching, storing, and sharing by the description of the logical structure of graphics. Since there are, however, very few people who know the complex SVG syntax and make use it, an editing system, which enables users to utilize the SVG graphics easily, has been in need. Therefore, in this thesis, we do research on basic technology on the SVG, design and make an editing system for SVG documents. The system, therefore, provides uses with a user-friendly editing interface and enables them to write graphic objects easily, and generates complex SVG documents automatically.

  • GPS(Global Positioning System)은 위성에서 현재 시스템이 위치한 곳의 주위 지역을 2차원으로 표현해 주는 시스템이다. 이 시스템에서의 그래픽 표현은 비트맵 표현 방식으로 다량의 메모리를 사용하는 단점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 GPS의 다량의 메모리를 사용하는 단점을 보완하기 위하여 비트맵 표현 방식을 지양하고 벡터 표현 방식을 사용하는 SVG(Scalable Vector Graphic)를 이용하며 메모리 사용량을 감소시킬 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 XML의 그래픽 표준안인 SVG에서는 2차원만을 표시하기 때문에 3차원 표현이 어려우나, ECMAScript를 사용하여 SVG의 단정인 3자원 표현의 어려움을 개선하는 방법에 대해 고찰하고자 한다.

  • According to development of Information Technology and generalization of internet, practical use field of geography information became various. Therefor various Geographic Information System (GIS) constructed to manage geography information efficiently. However, geography information data of various form is depending on graphic authorizing tool of various form being not normalized each other. So, OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) proposed GML(Geography Markup Language) that describe normalized geography information data that can apply mutually and W3C proposed SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) of vector base. In this paper creates GML data of XML base for geography information data processing to vector graphic object, and design and implementation of GML document editing and translation system that define code converter that create GML document through created graphic objects and change vector graphic to logic structure of XML base.

  • PC, Notebook, PDA, Cellular telephone, Smart phone 등 많은 형식의 인터넷 단말기가 사용되고 있지만, 인터넷 상에 존재하는 많은 그래픽 요소들은 이러한 단말기의 형식에 많은 제약을 받고 있다. 또한 사용자가 원하는 형태로 직접 변형하는 것이 어렵고, 그래픽 부분 요소의 재사용이 불가능하다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 마크업 언어로 각광받고 있는 XML(Extensible Markup Language)의 그래픽 표준인 SVG(Scalable Vector Graphic)를 이용하여 어떤 단말기에서도 같은 형식으로 디스플레이 되고 사용자가 원하는 형태로 이미지의 수정 및 부분 요소의 재사용성을 놀인 웹 캐릭터 빌더(Builder)를 설계 및 구현하였다. 연구 결과를 이용하면 에이전트 상의 웹 캐릭터 혹은 웹 상에서 일어날 수 있는 어떠한 컨텐츠에도 사용할 수 있는 기술을 구현한 수 있을 것이다.

  • A Web-based design automation system for concrete slab bridge has been developed to manage the resultant documents as well as to speed up the repetitive design process. Manipulation of engineering drawings in the Web page is one of the critical functions needed for Web-based design automation. Active Server Pages (ASP) is used to that collects design parameters in the database, and eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and XML-based vector graphics are expected to facilitate the representation of engineering drawings in the Web page. In this paper, we present how we used XML and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) to compose engineering drawings and represent them in the Web page. XML Data Island we designed to define drawing components turned out effective in manipulating the engineering drawings in the Web page.

  • SVG(Scalable Vector Graphic)는 웹 개발자 디자이너 및 사용자가 간단한 선언 방식의 프로그래밍 모델을 통해 HTML의 한계를 뛰어 넘어 견고한 비주얼 컨텐츠와 대화형 기능을 작성할 수 있는 W3C의 표준 XML 기반의 이미징 모델이다. 웹에서의 SVG는 확장형 벡터 그래픽으로서 2차원 이미지를 이미지의 손상 없이 표현하게 된다. 이 논문에서는 2차원에 국한되어 있는 SVG를 확장하여 3차원 이미지를 표현하고자 한다. 2차원 이미지의 표현은 x축과 y축의 평면 축만 있는데 비해 3차원 이미지의 표현은 깊이 정보인 z축을 가지고 있어야 3차원 이미지를 표현하게 된다. 비트맵 그래픽과 달리 벡터 그래픽인 SVG를 이용하여 웹 브라우저에서 3차원 오브젝트를 표현하는 방법에 대친 고찰하고자 한다.
