스테인리스 판재의 굽힘공정에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Bending Process of Stainless Steel Sheets)

  • An experimental study has been carried out to reduce bending load, surface roughness and springback in bending process of stainless steel sheets. A U-bending test has been performed to investigate appropriate process parameters for getting better surfaces and accurate dimensions of stainless steel products. In the test, selected process parameters are die material, lubricant, and die clearance. Die materials used in the test are STD11(HRC60), STD11(TiCN), and AMPCO. From the test results, we can suggest that AMPCO dies are most suitable for reducing bending load and surface roughness of stainless steel sheets. And STD11 dies are favorable for avoiding spring-back in the stainless steel sheet-bending.

검사비용절감(檢査費用節減)을 위한 2회(回) 샘플링검사(檢査)의 설계(設計) (Design of an Economic Double Sampling System)

  • A procedure for constructing a double sampling plan with zero acceptance number for the first sample whose combined sample size does nat exceed that of the given single or double sampling plan is studied. Using this procedure a double sampling system is proposed that can be used in place of MIL-STD-105D system when the quality history is good, and its composite quality characteristics are tabulated and compared with those of MIL-STD-105D system. The study reveals that composite ASN's of the proposed double sampling system are considerably smaller than those of corresponding MIL-STD-105D system with no appreciable changes in other composite quality characteristics. The procedure is also applied to K SA 3102 plans with similar results. A cost model that can be used in comparing a given single sampling plan with the proposed double sampling plan is also developed.

  • 다중 접지 배전계통에서 발생하는 이상전압으로부터 전력설비의 안정적인 운영과 인체안전을 위해 주로 봉상 접지전극을 이용하여 대지방전경로를 구성하고 있다. 그리고 접지종류별로 접지 저항값을 규정하고 이를 시공에 적용하고 있다. 지락고장이 발생하면 접지전극으로 유입되는 고장전류에 비례하여 대지전위가 상승하기 때문에 이에 대한 인체 안전성측정 및 검토가 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IEEE Std 80에서 제시하는 안전성 기준에 기초하여 다중 접지 배전계통에서 접지전극으로 널리 사용되는 봉상 접지전극을 대상으로 상용주파전류를 인가하여 대지전위상승에 따른 접촉전압을 측정하였으며, CDEGS 프로그램을 이용하여 보폭전압을 모의하였다. 또한 이 값을 IEEE Std 80에서 제시하는 최대 허용 보폭전압과 접촉전압과 비교하여 인체 안전성을 검토하였다.

  • 실전 배치되어 운용 중인 무기체계는 여러 형태의 사고 위험이 항상 존재한다 이중에서도 특히 항공기나 함정에서 발생하는 사고는 그 피해가 막대하게 커질 수도 있어 항공기나 함정 자체에 위협을 줄 수도 있다. 이러한 사고위험으로부터 인적, 물적 자원을 보호하기 위하여 둔감탄약(Insensitive Munitions)에 대한 인식이 높아지고 있으며, 아울러 이러한 무기 체계를 효과적으로 시험 평가하는 규격들이 검토되기 시작하여 1991년에 "Hazards Assesment Tests for Non-Nuclear Ordnance, DoD-STD-2105"를 기초로 한 MIL-STD-2105B가 채택되었다. 본 논문에서는 MIL-STD-2105B의 해석과 그에 따른 둔감탄약 시험에 포함되는 Bullet Impact Test, Fast Cookoff Test, Slow Cookoff Test, Fragment Impact Test, Sympathetic Detonation Test 등의 시험들의 세부적인 시험방법과 그 결과에 대한 판정 기준을 서술하였다. 또한 유도무기의 추진기관을 모델로 하여 둔감탄약 시험의 기준을 제시하였고 이 시험을 통과하기 위하여 향후 연구, 개발하여야 할 분야를 서술하였다.

W-EDM을 이용한 STD11의 절단시 북현상 (Hand Drum Form in Cutting of STD11 by W-EDM)

  • The W-EDM is very important In precision machining of die, punch and small parts of precision products, so this machining method is widely used in various fields of industry. In this study, machining characteristics of Hand Drum Form and surface roughness are investigated experimentally. As Hand drum form has great effect on straightness of cut-surface of workpiece, its evaluation is very important in precision cutting. As experimental material, the mold material, STD11 is used and machined by CNC wire-EDM using the 025mm wire in diameter with repeated cutting up to 6 times. The thickness of workpiece is vaned in 20, 40, 60, 80, 100mm Hand drum form and surface roughness are measured after each cutting. Experimental results show that four times-cutting is optimum in the point of hand drum form and surface roughness.

  • Laser heat treatment is an effective technique used to improve the tribological properties and also to increase the service life of automobile components such as camshafts, crankshatfs, lorry brake drums and gears. High power $CO_2$ lasers and Nd:YAG lasers are employed for localized hardening of materials and hence are of potential application in the automobile industries. The heat is conducted rapidly into the bulk of the specimen causing self-quenching action to occur and the formation of matrensitic structure. In this investigation, the microstructrual features occurring in Nd:YAG laser hardening SM45C and $STD_11$ steel are discussed with the use of optical microscopic and scanning electron microscopic analysis. Moreover, This paper describes the optimisation of the processing parameters for maximum hardened depth of SM45C and $STD_11$ steel specimens of 10mm thickness by using CW:YAG laser.

합금공구강(STD 11)의 방전가공면 변질층 제거에 관한 연구 (A study on remove of deterioration layer on EDM of STD11)

  • This paper has comparatively analyzed the characteristics of the machined surface of a specimen made by machining Die Steel STD11 and a specimen obtained by W-EDM steel. If a press die is manufactured through W-EDM, products of shapes that cannot easily be made through machining can be manufactured easily. However, the life of the press die is significantly reduced compared with the press die made through machining. This is believed to be caused by the deformed layer that has occurred on the surface of the press die that was made through W-EDM. The roughness of the 2 specimens was measured, and it was learned that the distribution of the roughness of the specimen made through the 1st W-EDM was rough.

경화처리된 공구강 STD11의 선삭에서 침 처리성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Chip Control in Turning of Hardened Steel STD11)

  • The chip controls are investigated experimentally for the purpose of estimating cutting ability of hardened steel. In this experiment, hardened STD11 steel ($HR_c$ 60) is turned with carbide tool M20 under various cutting conditions and with several tool shapes. The main results obtained are as follows : 1) Cutting conditions of cutting speed 45m/min. feed 0.09-0.13 rev. depth of cut 0.4-0.6 are recommended for the chip excluding. 2) In case that the feed becomes larger and a lead angle of cutting tool becomes smaller, the chip excluding becomes easier. 3) It is confirmed that frank wear and crator wear on the cutting tool appear severely from about 10 min. after cutting start and chip excluding get worse.

  • High-speed machining is one of the most effective technology to enhance productivity especially for hardened die material. High-speed machining can give great advantages for machining of dies and molds. But selection of machining condition is very difficult because of complicated machining mechanism. This paper presents the selection of machining condition in high-speed machining of STD11. Depth of cut, feed rate and spindle revolution are control factors. The effect of the control factors on surface roughness and machining error in Z-direction is discussed to improve machining accuracy.

  • This study has been performed to investigate forming limit of PCM(Pre-Coated Metal) widely using appliances. Die set was made for deep drawing test and some PCMs were inrectangular deep drawing test in no-lubricant 20% clearance some die materials(STD11(TiCN) STD11(HrC60) STD11(TD) AMOCO and 6mm/sec punch speed. and Ericshen test was performed in regular conditions In this experiment forming limit forming characteistics superior die materials and fracture of PCMs been investigated. In results tested PCMs have lower forming limit than base material because lower elongation ultimate strength than base material And two-fracture types - occurring band and flaking - of PCMs have been investiqated.
