  • A star schema consists of a central fact table, which is surrounded by one or more dimension tables. Each row in the fact table contains a multi-part primary key(or a composite foreign key) along with one or more columns containing various facts about the data stored in the row. Each of the composit foreign key components is related to a dimensional table. The combination of keys in the fact table creates a composite foreign key that is unique to the fact table record. The composite foreign key, however, is rarely unique to the fact table retold in real-world applications, particularly in financial applications. In order to make the composite foreign key be the determinant in real-world application, some precalculation might be performed in the SQL relational database, and cached in the OLAP database. However, there are many drawbacks to this approach. In some cases, this approach might give users the wrong results. In this paper, an approach to fact table modeling and related MDX query composing, which can be used in real-world applications without performing any precalculation and gives users the correct results, is proposed.

  • Background: Microsporum canis is a zoonotic disease that can cause dermatophytosis in animals and humans. Objectives: In clinical practice, ketoconazole (KTZ) and other imidazole drugs are commonly used to treat M. canis infection, but its molecular mechanism is not completely understood. The antifungal mechanism of KTZ needs to be studied in detail. Methods: In this study, one strain of fungi was isolated from a canine suffering with clinical dermatosis and confirmed as M. canis by morphological observation and sequencing analysis. The clinically isolated M. canis was treated with KTZ and transcriptome sequencing was performed to identify differentially expressed genes in M. canis exposed to KTZ compared with those unexposed thereto. Results: At half-inhibitory concentration (½MIC), compared with the control group, 453 genes were significantly up-regulated and 326 genes were significantly down-regulated (p < 0.05). Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction analysis verified the transcriptome results of RNA sequencing. Gene ontology enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analysis revealed that the 3 pathways of RNA polymerase, steroid biosynthesis, and ribosome biogenesis in eukaryotes are closely related to the antifungal mechanism of KTZ. Conclusions: The results indicated that KTZ may change cell membrane permeability, destroy the cell wall, and inhibit mitosis and transcriptional regulation through CYP51, SQL, ERG6, ATM, ABCB1, SC, KER33, RPA1, and RNP genes in the 3 pathways. This study provides a new theoretical basis for the effective control of M. canis infection and the effect of KTZ on fungi.

  • In this paper, teaching object-oriented design in a programming course is a big challenge for instructors. "Objects-first" is a popular strategy for teaching object-oriented programming in the educational settings, by introducing the concepts of objects, classes, and instances before procedural elements of a programming language. Still, this approach emphasizes coding rather than other critical aspects of software development, notably problem-solving and design. We propose a "design-first" approach, which subsumes an objects-first approach into lessons that also introduce object-oriented analysis and design, using elements of UML before implementing any code. We also present video rental store (SRS) that uses the design-first approach to help students of various teaming styles in a software engineering course. It interfaces with an IDE we have chosen specifically to support the design-first approach, and SRS which has been shown to be effective in helping students learn object-oriented programming concepts.

  • Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS) is a centralized database for storing, processing, retrieving, and analyzing laboratory data, and refers to a computer system or system specially designed for laboratories performing inspection, analysis, and testing tasks. In particular, LIMS is equipped with a function to support the operation of the laboratory, and it requires workflow management or data tracking support. In this paper, we collect data on websites and various channels using crawling technology, one of the automated big data collection technologies for the operation of the laboratory. Among the collected test methods and contents, useful test methods and contents useful that the tester can utilize are recommended. In addition, we implement a complementary LIMS platform capable of verifying the collection channel by managing the feedback.

  • For Optimization technology Was Developed in 1960, the Optimization Technology have grown into a full-featured, robust, highly rated and highly used. And Optimization techniques, having reached a degree of maturity over the past several years, are being used in a wide spectrum of industries, including aerospace, automotive, chemical, electrical, and manufacturing industries. With rapidly advancing computer technology, computers are becoming more powerful, and correspondingly, the size and the complexity of the problems being solved using Optimization techniques are also increasing. But Optimization techniques with analysis solver have many problems. For instance, the difficulties that a particular interface must be coded for each design problem and that the designer should be familiar with the optimization program as well as the analysis program. The purpose of this paper is Optimal Design Framework for Mechanical systems design. This Design Framework has two Optimizers, ADS (local optimizer) and RSM(Response Surface Method), and graphic user interfaces for formulation and optimum design problem and controlling the design process. Current Design Framework tested by two analysis solver, ADAMS and ANSYS. First this paper focused on the core Framework and their conception. In the second of the paper, I cover subjects such as Design Framework Operation. Next, The validity and effectiveness of Design Framework are shown by applying it to many practical design problems and obtaining satisfactory results. Finally, if you are an advanced Operator, you might want to use Response Surface Method, so that cover the result applied by RSM. here.

  • Despite many measures, still from time to time catastrophic events occur, even after reviewing potential scenarios with HAZID tools. Therefore, it is evident that in order to prevent such events, answering the question: "What can go wrong?" requires more enhanced HAZID tools. Recently, new system based approaches have been proposed, such as STPA (system-theoretic process analysis) and Blended Hazid, but for the time being for several reasons their availability for general use is very limited. However, by making use of available advanced software and technology, traditional HAZID tools can still be improved in degree of completeness of identifying possible hazards and in work time efficiency. The new HAZID methodology proposed here, the Data-based semi-Automatic HAZard IDentification (DAHAZID), seeks to identify possible scenarios with a semi-automated system approach. Based on the two traditional HAZID tools, Hazard Operability (HAZOP) Study and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), the new method will minimize the limitations of each method. This will occur by means of a thorough systematic preparation before the tools are applied. Rather than depending on reading drawings to obtain connectivity information of process system equipment elements, this research is generating and presenting in prepopulated work sheets linked components together with all required information and space to note HAZID results. Next, this method can be integrated with proper guidelines regarding process safer design and hazard analysis. To examine its usefulness, the method will be applied to a case study.

  • At present, GEOBIA (Geographic Object-based Image Analysis), heir of OBIA (Object-based Image Analysis), is regarded as an important methodology by object-oriented paradigm for remote sensing, dealing with geo-objects related to image segmentation and classification in the different view point of pixel-based processing. This also helps to directly link to GIS applications. Thus, GEOBIA software is on the booming. The main theme of this study is to look into the applicability of geo-spatial processing open source to GEOBIA. However, there is no few fully featured open source for GEOBIA which needs complicated schemes and algorithms, till It was carried out to implement a preliminary system for GEOBIA running an integrated and user-oriented environment. This work was performed by using various open sources such as OTB or PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Some points are different from the widely-used proprietary GEOBIA software. In this system, geo-objects are not file-based ones, but tightly linked with GIS layers in spatial database management system. The mean shift algorithm with parameters associated with spatial similarities or homogeneities is used for image segmentation. For classification process in this work, tree-based model of hierarchical network composing parent and child nodes is implemented by attribute join in the semi-automatic mode, unlike traditional image-based classification. Of course, this integrated GEOBIA system is on the progressing stage, and further works are necessary. It is expected that this approach helps to develop and to extend new applications such as urban mapping or change detection linked to GIS data sets using GEOBIA.
