GeoSensor의 공간연산을 확장한 Spatial-Sensor Observation Service (Spatial-Sensor Observation Service for Spatial Operation of GeoSensor)

  • 과학과 기술의 발전은 우리의 삶에서 다양한 변화를 만들고 있다. 특히 센서는 다양한 분야에서 실시간 모니터링과 효율적인 주변 환경 분석을 위해 사용되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 센서 네트워크는 조직별 자체 정의된 프로토콜과 아키텍처를 사용함으로써 네트워크 간의 통신에 추가적인 비용을 발생시켰다. 표준화된 센서 네트워크의 부재로 인한 단점을 해결하고자 OGC에서는 표준화된 센서 및 센서 시스템에 대한 접근, 조작 등을 위해 2007년 SWE v1.0과 2011년 SWE v2.0을 발표했다. SWE는 다양한 하위 컴포넌트들로 구성되어 있는데 그 중 센서 데이터 획득을 위한 SOS에 대한 다양한 시도들이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 기존의 SOS들은 GeoSensor의 공간연산을 고려하지 않기 때문에 매번 클라이언트에서 공간연산이 구현 및 실행됨으로써 적은 리소스를 갖는 클라이언트에 많은 부하를 초래하고 SOS의 용이성이 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 고정 및 이동형 GeoSensor을 위한 spatialFilter와 spatialFinder 공간 연산을 확장한 S-SOS를 제안한다. 제안된 S-SOS를 사용하여 기존의 기구축된 SOS를 수정하지 않고 필요에 의해 최소한의 추가로 공간 연산을 지원할 수 있는 아키텍처를 지원하며 이에 필요한 공간 연산의 질의 표현을 설명한다. 따라서 S-SOS는 다양한 위치기반 서비스에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있음을 보인다.

간접변이원의 돌연변이원성에 대한 생약재 열수 추출물의 효과 (Effect of Hot Water Extracts from Medicinal Plants on the Mutagenicity of Indirect Mutagens)

  • 항돌연변이원성 물질을 탐색하기 위하여 $AFB_1$, B(a)P의 돌연변이원성에 대한 95종 생약재 열수 추출물의 효과를 SOS Chromotest를 이용하여 검색하였다. $AFB_1$의 변이원성을 26%이상 억제시킨 생약재는 익모초와 지실이었으며, B(a)P의 변이원성을 26%이상 억제시킨 생약재는 건부자 외 7종이었다. 두 종류의 변이원 모두에 대하여 억제활성을 나타낸 생약재는 시호, 현호색, 천마, 강활, 반하, 지실, 행인 및 숙지황이었다. $AFB_1$의 변이원성을 26%이상 상승시킨 생약재는 계피 외 45종이었으며, B(a)P의 변이원성을 26%이상 상승시킨 생약재는 연자육과 감국이었다. 생약재의 열수 추출물은 $AFB_1$으로 유도된 변이원성을 대부분 증가시켰으나 B(a)P의 변이원성은 증가시키지 않았다. 두 종류의 변이원성을 모두 뚜렷하게 증가시킨 생약재(감국, 계피, 향부자, 삼백피, 패장, 관동화, 적하수오, 측백옆)의 열수 추출물 그 자체는 변이원성을 나타내지 않았으므로 변이원성 유발을 도와주는 보돌연변이 활성을 나타냈다. Ames test에서도 강활, 정향, 황금을 제외한 생약제에서 SOS Chromotest와 유사한 결과가 얻어졌다.

  • 음식물을 받아들여 소화하는 위장. 최대 1,500ml 정도까지 커지는 위장은 식도와 연결된 분문으로 음식물을 받아 소화시키고 잠시 저장한 뒤 유문을 통해 십이지장으로 내려보낸다. 중요한 역할을 하는 만큼 이상이 생기면 소화 불량, 더부룩함, 배탈, 속 쓰림, 설사 등 여러 증상으로 SOS신호를 보내는데, 이 같은 경고를 쉽게 무시해 버리는 게 문제다. 특히 위암은 조기에 발견하면 90% 이상 완치될 수 있으므로 정기적으로 위장을 검사해야 한다. 내시경을 넣는 위내시경검사, 조영제를 마시고 X선 촬영을 진행하는 조영촬영검사가 대표적이다.

  • Thirty six crude drug samples have been prepared from different parts of twenty five plants belonging to different families, and antimutangenic activities were studied by using SOS chromotest (E. coli PQ 37). The following crude extracts of PNG medicinal plants which had a appreciable antimutagenic activity against mitomycin C were: Artocarpus communis (stem bark), Cycas circinalis (leaves), Merremia peltata (leaves), Intsia palembanica (leaves), Annona muricata (stem bark), and Artocarpus altilis (root bark).

  • Pontential mutagenic and antimutagenic activities of four steroidal saponins from Smilax china rhizomes were investigated. These saponins did not revealed mutagneicity in the Ames and SOS umu test. For antimutagenic activity by SOS umu test, two spirostanol glycosides, dioscin and gracillin, inhibited the activity of ${\beta}-galactosidase$ induced by AF-2, but their proto-type furostanol glycosides did not show this activity.

Antimutagenic Activities of Cell Wall and Cytosol Fractions of Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Kimchi

  • Cell wall (lactic acid bacteria-sonicated precipitate ; LAB-SP) and cytosoll(lactic acid bacteria-sonicated supernatant ; LAB-SS) fractions were prepared from kimchi fermenting lactic acid bacteria such as Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Lactobacillus brevis, Lactobacillus fermentum , Lactobacillus plantarum and Pediococcus acidilactici, with Lactobacillus acidophillus isolated from yogurt. Using the Ames mutagenicity test and SOS chormotest system, the antimutagenic acitivity of those cell fractions was studied . One hundered eighty $\mu$l of LAB-SP from lactic acid bacteria isolated from kimchi, excepting Pediococcus acidilactici, supressed the mutagenicity of 4-nitroquinoline-1-oxide(4-NQO) in Ames mutagenicity test and SOS chromotes system , by above 90% and 60% , respectively. LAB-SP from lactic acid bacteria also inhibited the mutagenicity mediated by 3-amino-1-methyl-5H-pyrido [4,3-b]indole (Trp-P-2). Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus plantarum, and Lactobacillus acidphillus had higher antimutagenicity against Trp-P-2). Lactobacillus fermentum , Lactobacillus plantarum , and Lactobacillus acidphillus had higher antimutagenicity against Trp-P-2 than the other lactic acid bacteria. However, LAB-SS of lactic acid bacteria did not show any mutagenic activity against 4-NQO in Ames mutagenicity test and SOS chromotest systems. On the mutagenicity of MEIQ and Trp-P-2 , LAB-SS of lactic acid bacteria from kimchi or dairy products exhibited a weaker inhibitory effect than LAB-SP of those bacteria. These results represent that, whether the lactic acid bacteria from kimchi are viable or nonviable, antimutagenic acitivity was still effective. We suggest that the strong, antimutaganic activity of lactic acid bacteria might be found in the cell wall fraction , rather than in the cytosol fraction.

대입 수험생의 스트레스반응양상과 자아존중감과의 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Stress Responses and Self-Esteem : Senior High School Students Preparing for College Entrance Examination)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate stress responses of senior high school students(examines) preparing for college entrance examination and to identify the relationship between stress responses and self-esteem. The subjects of this study were 261 senior high school students from three high schools located in three different Gu Seoul Korea. Data were collected from 19th to 27th march, 1998. Stress responses were measured by SOS (symptoms of stress) inventory and self- esteem was measured by Rosenberg's self-esteem scale. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results were as follows : 1. The mean SOS score of subjects was 1.22 and that showed statistically significant according to gender difference (t=-6.00, P<0.0001) and father's occupations (F=3.10, P=0.006). 2. The mean self-esteem score was 2.77 and that showed statistically significant difference according to economic status(F=3.96, P=0.02) and father's occupations (F=2.71, P=0.01). 3. There was significant negative correlation between the mean SOS score and the mean self-esteem score(r=-0.31, P=0.0001). In conclusion, the examines had very high physiological and psychological stress responses and especially female showed higher stress responses than male. For this reason, school nurses are recommended (1)to develop appropriate stress management technique, (2) to provide more intensive care for health of female examines Nursing intervention should be developed for enhancing self-esteem of examines because self-esteem is negatively correlated with SOS.

Review of Acute Traumatic Closed Mallet Finger Injuries in Adults

  • In adults, mallet finger is a traumatic zone I lesion of the extensor tendon with either tendon rupture or bony avulsion at the base of the distal phalanx. High-energy mechanisms of injury generally occur in young men, whereas lower energy mechanisms are observed in elderly women. The mechanism of injury is an axial load applied to a straight digit tip, which is then followed by passive extreme distal interphalangeal joint (DIPJ) hyperextension or hyperflexion. Mallet finger is diagnosed clinically, but an X-ray should always be performed. Tubiana's classification takes into account the size of the bony articular fragment and DIPJ subluxation. We propose to stage subluxated fractures as stage III if the subluxation is reducible with a splint and as stage IV if not. Left untreated, mallet finger becomes chronic and leads to a swan-neck deformity and DIPJ osteoarthritis. The goal of treatment is to restore active DIPJ extension. The results of a six- to eight-week conservative course of treatment with a DIPJ splint in slight hyperextension for tendon lesions or straight for bony avulsions depends on patient compliance. Surgical treatments vary in terms of the approach, the reduction technique, and the means of fixation. The risks involved are stiffness, septic arthritis, and osteoarthritis. Given the lack of consensus regarding indications for treatment, we propose to treat all cases of mallet finger with a dorsal glued splint except for stage IV mallet finger, which we treat with extra-articular pinning.
