There has been a new trend to integrate various kinds of circuits by low temperature polycrystalline silicon thin film transistor (LTPS TFT) on insulator substrates to achieve System on Panel (SOP) for flat panel displays. In this paper, we will review the trend of the SOP and discuss the utility and future possibility of the SOP.

In this research, damage initiation in singly oriented ply (SOP) FML under concentrated loading conditions was studied. The finite element method (FEM) base on the first order shear deformation theory is used for the analysis of fiber orientation effect on FML under concentrated loading conditions. The failure indices were calculated for the variation of fiber orientation and the results were compared with indentation experiments. The failure indices were well matched with damage initiation of SOP FML. Indentation results shows that the crack initiation of SOP FML is determined by stiffness induced by fiber orientation and tile penetration load of SOP FML are influenced by the deformation tendency and boundary conditions.

오늘날 우리는 인터넷에 연결된 PC뿐만 아니라, 이동형 기기인 휴대전화, 무선 인터넷을 이용하는 PDA, 노트북, 그리고 D-TV 등을 통해서도 웹서버에 접근하여 콘텐츠 형태의 정보를 얻고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 환경을 지원하기 위하여 각각의 적응화된 컨텐츠를 저장하는 것을 기반으로 하며, 이를 다양한 기기를 지닌 사용자에게 활용하기 위해 페이지 정보를 지니는 메타 데이터를 적용하는 웹 캐싱 기법(SOP)를 제안한다.

A lot of research for system-on-panel(SOP) have been done to integrate display systems including data driver, gate driver, timing controller, DC-DC converter, and smart functions such as embedded touch screen, ambient brightness sensing and luminance control, finger printing on the glass. Recently, the cost of an one-chip driver IC with various functions has decreased rapidly, and new mobile display interface technologies have been introduced. So it is necessary to examine the feasibility of SOP for practical mobile applications. In this paper, we will re-examine LTPS technologies for mobile displays in terms of various aspects and discuss the practical limitations on SOP technology and future technology trend of mobile displays.

Voice can be widely used to classify the four constitution types and to recognize one's health condition from extracting meaningful features as physical quantity in traditional Korean medicine or Western medicine. In this paper, we proposed the method to update the standard operating procedure (SOP) to acquire and record voices for extracting stable vocal features since they are sensitive to the variation of a subject's utterance. At first, we obtained pitch frequencies from vowels and the sentence and intensity form the sentence as features with voices acquired under subjects' utterance conditions and then the deviation ratios of features from median values according to the utterance conditions were obtained and the condition to minimize the ratio was selected as a new SOP. As a result, we decided the SOP for a subject to utter vowels with the length of 2s~1s and sentences with over 2s interval between them after practice, in consideration of the deviation and qualitative requirements. Stable voice features obtained from updated SOP produce accurate diagnosis, which will be developed and simplified for using in the u-Healthcare system of personalized medicine.

Soy, high dietary intake for the oriental population, is a main source of isoflavonoids. Sophoricoside (SOP) an isoflavone glycoside was isolated from immature fruits of Sophora japonica (Leguminosae family) and its inhibitory effect on chemical mediators involved in inflammatory response was investigated in this study. SOP inhibited the interleukin (IL)-6 bioactivity with an $IC_{50}$ value of 6.1 $\mu$M whereas it had no effects on IL-1$\beta$ and TNF-a bioactivities. SOP was identified as a selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 activity with an $IC_{50}$ value of 4.4 $\mu$ M, but did not show inhibitory effect on the synthesis of COX-2. However, SOP had no effect on the production of reactive oxygen species including superoxide anions and nitric oxide. These results revealed that in vitro anti-inflammatory action of SOP is significantly different from that of genistein known as a phytoestrogen of soy products. This experimental study has documented an importance of dietary soy isoflavonoids as multifunctional agents beneficial to human health, and will help to clarify protective mechanisms of SOP against inflammatory conditions.

분말황산가리(粉末黃酸加里)와 입도(粒度)를 달리한 수종의 광물분말(제오라이트, 활석(滑石), 사문석(蛇紋石))을 혼합(混合) 또는 피복(被覆) 조입(造粒)하여 그 조입율(造粒率)과 물리적(物理的)인 특징(特徵)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果) 3종(種) 광물 공(共)히 조입율(造粒率)을 향상(向上)시켰으며 활석(滑石), 제오라이트 사문석(蛇紋石) 순(順)으로 조입율(造粒率)이 양호(良好)했고 광물분말 50%까지는 많이 섞을수록 조입율(造粒率)이 증가했다. 조입(造粒)은 물로 가능하며 황산가리(黃酸加里)로만 조입(造粒)할 경우보다 제오라이트와 사문석혼합물(蛇紋石混合物)의 조입(造粒)에는 물이 많이 소요(所要)되나 활석(滑石)의 경우는 감소(減少)했다. 제오라이트는 조입입자(造粒粒子)의 경도(硬度)를 증가시키지만 나머지 광물은 경도(硬度)를 불량(不良)하게 하며 피복조입물(被覆造粒物)은 혼합조입물(混合造粒物)보다 더 쉽게 깨졌다. 낙하파양율(落下破壤率)도 제오라이트가 가장 낮고 혼합비율(混合比率)을 높일수록 더욱 감소(減少)시키며 타광물은 오히려 불량(不良)하게 했다. 피복조립입자(被覆造粒粒子)의 경우는 혼합조입(混合造粒)의 경우와 큰 차이가 없었다. 탈분율도 제오라이트로 혼합(混合), 혹은 피복조입(被覆造粒)할 경우 크게 개선(改善)되었다.

Purpose : This study aimed to propose a common scope of practice (SOP) for 13 specialties of Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) in Korea. Methods : The first draft of a common SOP was extracted from domestic and international laws with a literature review by 17 experts from the Korean Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (KAAPN). Then, the common SOP was finalized after comparing the activities of APNs in clinical settings. Results : A total of 70 duties were identified and six categories were suggested for the common SOP. The SOP proposed by the KAAPN featured the following: 1) identification of and discrimination between health problems; 2) prescription and implementation of diagnostic tests; 3) treatment of injuries and diseases while implementing measures to prevent exacerbation; 4) prescription of medicinal products in line with 1) to 3); 5) referral and consultation; and 6) education and counseling. It was then confirmed that the proposed six categories in the common SOP reflected all the duties performed by APNs in clinical practice, including all 40 activities. Conclusion : The results of this study can be used as evidence for the legalization of a common SOP for APNs. Given the increasing multidisciplinary team approach adopted in Korean hospitals, it may be desirable to establish a broader SOP to reflect the diverse duties of APNs.
