Relationship among Restaurant Owner's SNS Marketing, Trust, Purchase Intention, and Word of Mouth Intention

  • Purpose - This study analyzes effects of word of mouth intention of restaurant product via SNS on trust of products, purchase intention, and word of mouth intention targeting restaurant customers. Research design, data, and methodology - Targeting restaurant customers, 500 surveys were distributed in restaurants located in Seoul (where restaurants are clustered, such as Myeongdong, Dongdaemoon Station Shopping Center, and Sadangdong) between July 1st, 2016 and July 30th, 2016. Among those, 490 were collected, and 478 were used for analysis excluding those with no answer or insincere answers. Results - SNS word of mouth information characteristics had significant effects on trust of restaurant product in the order of vividness, neutrality, and timing. Trust on restaurant product has significant effect on perceived risks (-) and perceived benefits (+) by SNS. While perceived benefits of restaurant product on SNS has effect on purchase intention, perceived risks of restaurant product on SNS does not affect purchase intention. Perceived benefits of restaurant product on SNS has significant effect on word of mouth intention, whereas perceived risks of restaurant product on SNS does not have significant effect on word of mouth intention. Conclusions - As marketing through SNS can bring about a huge reduction effect in terms of marking cost, it can be utilized as an effective promotion by not only large restaurant corporations, but also small restaurants.

패션 소셜커머스에서 쇼핑가치가 패션쇼핑 만족 및 미래 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Shopping Value on Fashion Shopping Satisfaction and Future Behavioral Intention in Fashion Social Commerce)

  • This study investigated the effect of consumers' shopping value in social commerce on consumers' fashion shopping satisfaction and future behavioral intention. Respondents were limited to consumers aged 20 to 39 who had recently purchased fashion products through social commerce over the last month. The final analysis used 318 samples. Descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model were conducted. The results are as follows. First, hedonic and utilitarian shopping value significantly influenced consumers' fashion shopping satisfaction in social commerce. Hedonic shopping value was more strongly related to fashion shopping satisfaction. Second, fashion shopping satisfaction in social commerce had an effect on behavioral intention and SNS word-of-mouth. Behavioral intention consisted of repurchase intention and recommend intention. SNS word-of-mouth intention represented word-of-mouth intention using SNS such as Facebook and Twitter. When consumers were satisfied with their shopping experience, they were willing to have re-patronage intentions and SNS word-of-mouth intention. The results suggested that social commerce should try to raise consumers' fashion shopping satisfaction in social commerce and offer a pleasant experience. Also, social commerce should try to be connected to SNS such as Facebook and Twitter to increase word-of-mouth intention.

구전에 영향을 미치는 SNS 제 요인에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Social Network Services Determinants on Word Of Mouth)

  • Social Network Service (SNS) has been played an important role in the life with the expansion of the modern technology in the cellular communication. More knowledge and understanding should be inevitable even if companies have taken advantage of SNS through word of mouth as one of the new paradigm. In most cases the crucial benefit or peculiarity of SNS has been overlooked because only general aspects of SNS have been applied in the online situation. As a result of this, same paradigm has been considered in reality as SNS was just used one of the marketing tools. However, essential aspects of SNS were investigated to see the relation of usage intention and word of mouth in this study. The hypothesis of the effect of continuous intention of the usage, trust and word of mouth was made and reviewed statistically. The statistical analysis showed there was significant among relationship, context, perceived service quality and continuous intention of the usage. In addition to that, self-expression, relationship, perceived service quality and trust were significant. Finally the continuous intention of the usage and word of mouth was significant as well. Based on this study, SNS provided by the companies could be effective to the customers in terms of word of mouth while different trend was shown in terms of trust.

Influence of SNS Characteristics on the Brand Image of Infant Food Products

  • Purpose - This study aims to examine the influence of social network service (SNS) on the brand image of infant food products; highlight the effects of brand image on the purchasing and word-of-mouth intention; and explore the effects of the purchasing intention on the word-of-mouth intention. Research design, data, and methodology - Based on previous studies, it was found that the fundamental SNS characteristics for infant food products are reliability, interactivity, and informative. Using AMOS 22.0 and structural equation modeling (SEM), 288 questionnaires were surveyed as a statistical method for examining the proposed hypotheses. Results - The analysis shows that reliability and informative have significant impacts on brand image, whereas interactivity does not. Again, the effect of brand image of infant food products on the purchase and word-of-mouth intention is statistically significant. However, the results differ across the "working housewife" and the "full-time housewife" groups. The connection between reliability and brand image was found to be statistically significant in this study. Conclusions - This study analyzes the effects of SNS characteristics on the brand image of infant food products and the effect of the brand image on purchase and word-of-mouth intentions, and provides practical implications for the same.

The Effect of SNS Beauty Advertising Characteristics on Voluntary Word-of-Mouth Intention: Focusing on S-O-R Theory

  • Purpose: Through this study, first, we try to understand the characteristics of SNS beauty advertising using SNS. Second, focusing on S-O-R Theory, we aim to confirm the impact of SNS beauty advertising characteristics on positive emotions, commitment, and voluntary word-of-mouth intentions. Third, we intend to suggest measures related to effective SNS beauty advertising operation. Research design, data and methodology: To analyze the data collected of 308 questionnaires, the SPSS and AMOS statistical program was used, and the SNS beauty advertising characteristics were reclassified after analyzing the credibility and validity of the responses. Results: It was found that all SNS beauty advertising characteristics (interactivity, entertainment, credibility, and irritation) had a significant effect on positive emotions. However, entertainment and irritation did not have a significant effect on commitment. In addition, it was found that positive emotions had a positive effect on commitment, and commitment had a positive effect on voluntary word-of-mouth intentions, and positive emotions had no significant effect on voluntary word-of-mouth intentions. Conclusions: In order to improve consumers' commitment in SNS beauty advertising, it is important to secure trust through interaction, and it is judged that the more commit in SNS beauty advertising through positive emotions, the more spontaneous and positive word-of-mouth effect can be created.

패션 소셜네트워크(SNS) 사용의도 및 구전의도에 관한 연구 -의복쇼핑성향, 혁신제품태도와 유행선도력의 영향을 중심으로- (A Study on Intention to Use and Word-of-mouth for Fashion Social Network Service)

  • This study locates factors that affect the intention to use fashion SNS (social network service) and intention for word-of-mouth on fashion SNS. Independent variables were fashion shopping orientation, attitude toward innovative products, fashion leadership, and demographics. A questionnaire method was used to collect data on college students while factor analyses, multiple regression, $x^2$ analyses, and Pearson correlation coefficients were applied in analyzing data. Factor analyses resulted in four factors for fashion shopping orientation, three on attitude toward innovative products and two on fashion leadership. Multiple regression analyses showed that information compatibility of attitude toward innovative products had a significant impact on two models of intention to use fashion SNS and two models of intention for word-of-mouth on fashion SNS. Opinion leadership and gender were significant factors for two models of intention to use fashion SNS, which means that women are likely to have more intention to use fashion SNS. Meanwhile, fashion innovativeness was found to be a significant factor on two models of intention for word-of-mouth on fashion SNS. Shopping orientation factors were not important for any model. $x^2$ analyses showed that women rather than men wanted more information on online fashion shows, general fashion information, and user participation programs. Fashion major students wanted more information on online fashion shows and user participation programs than non-fashion major students.

SNS에서 구전정보의 특성이 정보원에 대한 신뢰와 구전수용에 미치는 영향 (A Study of affect on credibility of information source and word-of-mouth acceptance by word-of-mouth information characteristics on SNS)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate what the characteristics of word-of-mouth on SNS and how these factors credibility for information's source and acceptance of word-of-mouth. We proposed study model was set through overall theoretical investigation. The 179 Valid survey data were gathered from the user who have prior experience in SNS. According to factor analysis, characteristic of word-of-mouth information on SNS were classified into consensus and neutrality. And credibility for information's source and acceptance of word-of-mouth were composed sing dimension. The Hypothesis inspection says that all variables were positively correlated with each other. And consensus and valance have positive influence on credibility for information's source. Also credibility for information's source influence on acceptance of word-of-mouth and valance have positive affect trust for information's source. Several academic and practical implications are yield accordingly. Especially this study intention to provide basis which can be used for all business's effective marketing activity.

관광 SNS 정보 특성과 사회적 자본이 몰입을 통해 구전의도에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study of the Characteristics of Tourism SNS Information and the Influence of Social Capital on the word of Mouth Intention Through the Immersion)

  • SNS 정보 특성의 하위요인인(정보품질, 정보신뢰성)과 사회적 자본(연결형)이 몰입을 통해 구전의도에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하고, 도출된 결과를 이용하여 관광산업의 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 19세 이상의 성인 326명을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, SNS 활용의 하위요인인(정보품질, 정보신뢰성)이 몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 몰입은 구전의도에 유의한 영향관계가 성립됨을 검증하였다. 셋째, 사회적 자본(연결형)이 몰입과 구전의도에 긍정적인 영향관계가 성립됨을 분석하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 기초로 하여 관광산업 분야에서 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS)를 성공적인 관광콘텐츠 개발 및 마케팅 전략 수립에 활용하여 효율적인 관광 상품의 정보를 제공함으로써 미래의 잠재관광 고객 유치에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 관광산업에 실무적인 적용에 도움이 되고자 함에 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.

SNS 뷰티 인플루언서 특성이 인플루언서 신뢰 및 구전 의도에 미치는 영향: 관여도의 조절 효과 (Impact of SNS Beauty Influencer Characteristics on Trust and Word-of-Mouth Intentions: The Moderating Effect of Engagement)

  • With the growing preference among Chinese consumers for purchasing beauty products through social media networks (SNS), influencer marketing has recently emerged as a crucial strategy for maximizing word-of-mouth effects. This study aims to ascertain the impact of SNS beauty influencers' characteristics on trustworthiness and consumers' intentions to engage in word-of-mouth promotion. Furthermore, the study seeks to explore the moderating role of consumer involvement in the relationship between SNS beauty influencer characteristics and the trust consumers place in them. As part of an empirical analysis, an online survey was administered to 259 Chinese female consumers who had previously purchased beauty products through influencers on SNS. The data gathered were scrutinized by conducting multiple and hierarchical regression analysis to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicated that the attributes of "expertise,"' "intimacy," and "homogeneity" in SNS beauty influencers significantly affect influencer trust, whereas "charm" does not have a significant impact. Moreover, consumer involvement was found to moderate the relationship between SNS beauty influencer characteristics (expertise, intimacy, charm, and homogeneity) and influencer trust. Additionally, influencer trust positively influenced the intention to engage in word-of-mouth activities. These findings signify that leveraging influencers possessing qualities such as expertise, intimacy, and homogeneity can help enhance product exposure, popularity, and sales of the beauty industry. This study contributes valuable insights into the strategic utilization of influencer characteristics in the beauty industry and digital marketing, highlighting their pivotalrole in consumer engagement and the success of marketing strategies.

SNS 구전 정보의 특성이 공기청정기의 구매 의도와 구전 의도에 미치는 영향 (Influences of SNS word-of-mouth information on behavioral intention for air purifier purchase and reword-of-mouth)

  • 본 연구는 공기청정기 구매 의도의 선행요인을 조사하였다. 그리고 구매 의도가 SNS 구전 의도에 미치는 영향이 상호작용 성향에 의해서 조절이 되는지를 평가하였다. 본 연구 모형은 공기청정기 구매 의도의 선행요인으로서 SNS 구전 정보 유용성과 함께 SNS 구전 정보의 신뢰성을 포함하였다. 그리고 SNS 구전 정보의 적절성과 적시성, 충분성을 포함하는 3개의 1차 구성개념으로 구성되는 SNS 구전 정보의 풍부성이 구전 정보의 유용성과 신뢰성에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상하였다. 연구가설을 통계적 유의수준에서 검증하기 위하여 312명의 응답자로부터 설문 조사 자료를 수집하였다. 구조방정식모형 분석을 수행하여 연구가설을 검증한 결과, 구매 의도는 구전 의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 구전 정보의 유용성과 신뢰성은 모두 구매 의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 평가되었다. 그리고 구전 정보의 풍부성은 구전 정보의 유용성과 신뢰성에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 그러나, 구매의도가 구전의도에 미치는 영향은 상호작용 성향에 의해서 조절이 되지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
