A Design of SNS Emotional Information Analysis Strategy based on Opinion Mining (오피니언 마이닝 기반 SNS 감성 정보 분석 전략 설계)

  • The opinion mining technique which analogize significant information from SNS message is increasingly important because opinions communicated through SNS are increasing. This paper propose SEIAS(SNS Emotional Information Analysis Strategy) based on opinion mining that analogize emotional information from SNS setting a different weight according to position of antonym and adverb. Firstly, the proposed SEIAS constructs a emotion dictionary for opinion mining analysis, Secondly, it collects SNS data on real time, compare it with emotion dictionary and calculates opinion value of SNS data. Specially, it increases the precision of opinion analysis result compared to the existing SO-PMI because it sets up the different value according to the position of antonym and adverb when it calculates the opinion value of data.

  • This paper proposes an SNS and Web Data Analytics System which can utilize a business marketing strategy by analyzing negative SNS and Web Data that can do great damage to a business image. It consists of the Data Collection Module collecting SNS and Web Data, the Hbase Module storing the collected data, the Data Analysis Module estimating and classifying the meaning of data after an semantic analysis of the collected data, and the PHS Module accomplishing an optimized Map Reduce by using SNS and Web data involved a Businesse. This paper can utilize this analysis result for a business marketing strategy by efficiently managing SNS and Web data with these modules.

  • This study proposes a customized SNS operational strategy for special libraries based on a case study on the Ocean Science Library (OSL) of South Korea. The study conducted an in-depth analysis on an organizational structure, manpower, contents, and promotion. The outcome of SNS operational strategy deducted from this study can be categorized into several items, including: (1) a selection of an appropriate SNS channel, which meets the objective of the operation; (2) a formal division of works for SNS operation; (3) a designation of full-time managers and an establishment of a task force team; (4) a specialization of contents according to specific subjects; (5) on/off-line promotions focused on events, which encourage participations; (6) an improvement of contents through regular log analyses; and (7) a promotion of library website access through SNS, and so on. This research also suggested the strategies for the development of SNS operation: strengthening of communication and cooperation among librarians; distribution of academic and research outcomes of the umbrella organization; enhancement of a role as a communication channel between librarians and users, and carry out a role as a 'social curator.'

  • Recently, the majority of leading companies has a strong interest in SNS advertisement. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to classify lifestyle of SNS adopters in order to support establishing companies' SNS advertising strategy. According to the analysis, (1) SNS advertisement's attributes (Entertainment, Irritation and Credibility) are affecting the Advertising Value, similar to a Mobile advertisement, and (2) Major SNS advertisement's Advertising Value depends on the lifestyle. The results show that : (1) self-express lifestyle is affected by Irritation, and that (2) information collected lifestyle is affected by Entertainment.

  • SNS users have increased at rapid rate. Many firms are expected to use SNS, especially in marketing area. This study describes a SNS-based new products promotion case study. We aim to identify how differently SNS users respond to different types of SNS media or SNS contents. In this analysis marketing effects are measured in a number of website hits. The study result shows how the number of user's hits differs upon a combination of SNS media and SNS contents.

A Study on Marketing Strategies based on SNS Usage Characteristics by Performing Genre (공연장르별 SNS 이용특성에 따른 마케팅전략 연구)

  • This study aims to determine how demographic characteristics and SNS use traits of audiences are different depending on preferred performance types such as pop music concert, musical; play, dancing and ballet. SNS use traits are as follows: duration of SNS use, average number of access to SNS account, average time of SNS use, SNS activity type, motivation for SNS use, preferable type of SNS, annual total number of performance watched, and method to gain performance information. Also, the study was conducted to get significant insights in designing marketing strategy using social network services. The results are as follows. First, the result of examining audience's demographic factors depending on preferred performance type showed meaningful differences in sex, age, marital status, form of family, academic level, job and monthly income of the audiences. Second, SNS use traits of the audiences according to preferred performance genres vary in duration of SNS use, average number of access to SNS account, average time of SNS use, SNS activity type, motivation for SNS use, method to gain performance information. These findings showed that demographic characteristics and SNS use traits needed to be classified more specifically based on genres. Additionally, marketing strategy using performance information, traits of contents and customers' patterns through SNS should be specifically developed based on specified target.

Interaction Effects of Crisis Responsibility and SNS Interactivity on Acceptances of Crisis Response Strategies in the case of CEO in Crisis (CEO 위기책임성과 SNS 상호작용성이 위기 대응 전략 인식에 미치는 영향)

  • Previous crisis management research has mainly focused on business organizations' responsibility for crises, and yet research on CEOs in crisis still lacks. This research examined the influences of crisis responsibility and response strategies on attitudes toward a CEO, attitudes toward a corporate, and purchase intentions in the case of CEOs in crisis. In addition, this study explored how a CEO's SNS interactivity during normal times moderates the influences of crisis responsibility and response strategies. A 2(responsibility: high vs. low)X2(strategy: defensive vs. apology)X2(interactivity: high vs. low) experimental design was conducted with 200 Chinese students in Seoul. According to the analysis results from effects of response strategies by CEO's crisis responsibility levels, regardless of the crisis responsibility levels, the apology strategy was more effective than the defensive strategy in terms of CEO attitudes, corporate attitudes, and purchasing intentions. The analysis results about the moderating role of SNS interactivity during normal times show that under the CEO's high responsibility condition, keeping high SNS interactivity during normal times and using the apology after crisis brought out most favorable responses. Under the CEO's low responsibility condition, regardless of the SNS interactivity levels, the apology strategy brought out more favorable responses than the defensive strategy.

Mobile Commerce Brand Identity Strategy by SNS Text mining

  • In this paper, I propose an efficient brand identity strategy by topic modeling the Instagram posts, one of SNS(Social Network Service) having more than 1billion world-wide and 500 million daily users. Since the 92% age groups of the Instagram is 18~50 years old (59% 18~29y and 33% 30~49), I set research analysis target three mobile commerce sites to dress and cosmetics sales sites that sale apparels cosmetics and gadgets that recently opened and have operated marketing on diverse channel including SNS. By topic modeling SNS posts for 6 months after launching the site that tagged each m-commerce site brand name or company name, I validate companies' brand identity strategy works effectively and suggest moderation of strategy for brand image. As a result, I found one of three mobile commerce site has different brand image by users and need different identity set up.

  • SNS Big-data Analysis means to find potential value from big data which has produced by the social media. In this paper, SNS Big-data has been analysed to find Korean concerns by using 24 key words from the marine and fisheries sector. Among 24 key words, seafood, shipping and Dokdo Island are the most mentioned ones. Some key words such as ocean policies and marine security that have less concerns have bess mentioned less. Also, key words that are led by government are mostly mentioned by news media, but key words that are led by private sector and have intimate relationship with people's lives are mostly mentioned by Blogs and Twitters. Therefore, reflecting close national concerns by SNS Big-data Analysis and especially resolving negative factors are the most significant part of the policy establishment. Also, differentiated promotion methods need to be prepared because the frequency of key words mentioned from each type of media are different.

  • The popularity of Social Network Service (SNS) providing web sites has increased continuously by using a variety of mobile devices. The study results show that security of SNS, efficiency of SNS, safety, empathy of SNS quality, easy of use of SNS, assurance of SNS, service variety of SNS are having positive impact to some degree on the user satisfaction. Further, the user satisfaction of SNS users have a positive impact on the continuance usage intention of SNS users. This results show that various SNS qualities are necessary to actively explore and obtain further information that users intend to find, while they are insufficient in function to provide the information other users require or exchange information with other users through the SNS.
