Prediction of Agricultural Purchases Using Structured and Unstructured Data: Focusing on Paprika (정형 및 비정형 데이터를 이용한 농산물 구매량 예측: 파프리카를 중심으로)

  • Consumers' food consumption behavior is likely to be affected not only by structured data such as consumer panel data but also by unstructured data such as mass media and social media. In this study, a deep learning-based consumption prediction model is generated and verified for the fusion data set linking structured data and unstructured data related to food consumption. The results of the study showed that model accuracy was improved when combining structured data and unstructured data. In addition, unstructured data were found to improve model predictability. As a result of using the SHAP technique to identify the importance of variables, it was found that variables related to blog and video data were on the top list and had a positive correlation with the amount of paprika purchased. In addition, according to the experimental results, it was confirmed that the machine learning model showed higher accuracy than the deep learning model and could be an efficient alternative to the existing time series analysis modeling.

  • Smart City for establishing mutual communication for next-generation digital signage technology attracting attention in the tele screen service is being spread. In recent years, the state of the surrounding circumstances of the user-to-user information such as situation-based, bi-directional communication by collecting and analyzing the possible interactive tele-screen services. This study suggests the value of smart city services platform, standardization trends, domestic, and international marketability analysis information. Tele-screen service technology is able to be a high-level administrative services, and further domestic e-government technology can be spread all over the world.

  • 3월11일 오후 2시46분경 일본 동북지역을 중심으로 M. 9.0 규모의 동일본대지진이 발생해 수많은 희생자가 나왔다. 지진발생 후 쓰나미가 일어나 방사선이 대량으로 유출되는 등 일본사상 최대의 국가적인 복합재난이 일어났다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 일본인들이 침착함을 잃지 않은 시민의식에 대해 세계 시민들은 극찬을 아끼지 않았다. 우리나라도 국가적으로는 대형 재난발생 시를 대비하여 행정안전부, 방송통신위원회, 소방방재청, 기상청, KBS, 재난전문가 등으로 구성된 가칭 "긴급재난방송협의회" 같은 것을 구성하여 긴밀하게 재난정보를 교환하는 유기적인 협력체제구성이 필요하다. 또, 나아가서는 이들 관련 부서에서는 재난방송 전담관을 두어 재난방송에 적극적으로 대처하여야 할 것으로 본다. 정부도 KBS에 대해 대폭적인 지원을 아끼지 않아야 하겠지만, KBS 또한 지금까지의 대응 자세에서 벗어나 "재난방송의 선진화"를 위해 재난방송시스템을 새로 구축해야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 KBS는 NHK의 지상파방송과 같이 KBS 위상에 걸 맞는 재난방송시스템을 구축하는 한편, 디지털시대에 있어서의 뉴 미디어를 이용하여 DMB나 스마트 폰, SNS 등을 이용한 각종 재난경보체제를 선도해야 할 재난주관방송사로서의 의무가 있다. 그것이 곧 공영방송의 본연의 임무이자 국민의 생명과 재산을 지키는데 최선을 다하는 길이다.

Factors Influencing Subscribers' Voluntary Payment Behavior on an Online News Site: Focusing on the Role of Appreciation (온라인 뉴스 사이트에서 독자의 자발적 구독료 지불행위에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구: 공감의 역할을 중심으로)

  • As online communities proliferate, online news sites have received great attention in news media research. Although most of the online news sites provide contents for free, some have adopted the Pay-What-You-Want (PWYW) model by offering a voluntary payment option to the readers. In this study, we investigate the factors which influence subscribers' voluntary payment behavior on an online news site. Drawing upon both the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework and the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), we hypothesize that appreciation has a direct effect on the subscribers' voluntary payment behavior, whereas central factors (positive emotional content, cognitive content) and peripheral factors (news sharing, news article length) of the news articles have indirect impacts on voluntary payment behavior through the enhanced appreciation. Based on an empirical analysis of 172 news articles from the Korean online news site that adopted the PWYW pricing model (i.e., Ohmynews.com), we find that appreciation plays a critical role in voluntary payment behavior and that peripheral factors have significant impacts on appreciation. However, the impacts of central factors on appreciation are not found. By identifying influencing factors of subscribers' voluntary payment behavior on online news sites for the first time, this paper suggests a prospective alternative profit model for online news providers faced with fierce competition.

A Strategy Study on Sensitive Information Filtering for Personal Information Protect in Big Data Analyze

  • The study proposed a system that filters the data that is entered when analyzing big data such as SNS and BLOG. Personal information includes impersonal personal information, but there is also personal information that distinguishes it from personal information, such as religious institution, personal feelings, thoughts, or beliefs. Define these personally identifiable information as sensitive information. In order to prevent this, Article 23 of the Privacy Act has clauses on the collection and utilization of the information. The proposed system structure is divided into two stages, including Big Data Processing Processes and Sensitive Information Filtering Processes, and Big Data processing is analyzed and applied in Big Data collection in four stages. Big Data Processing Processes include data collection and storage, vocabulary analysis and parsing and semantics. Sensitive Information Filtering Processes includes sensitive information questionnaires, establishing sensitive information DB, qualifying information, filtering sensitive information, and reliability analysis. As a result, the number of Big Data performed in the experiment was carried out at 84.13%, until 7553 of 8978 was produced to create the Ontology Generation. There is considerable significan ce to the point that Performing a sensitive information cut phase was carried out by 98%.

Investigating the use of multiple social networking services: A cross-cultural perspective in the United States and Korea

  • The rise in recent technology has changed the ways, in which people communicate with one another. Social networking services (SNSs) have become one of the most representative means. General SNSs allow users to create their own unique profiles, search for fellow members, share information, etc., while other SNSs have functions that cater to different needs of users. As a result, users of SNSs have begun to pick and choose different SNSs and concurrently use multiple SNSs in order to fulfill all their needs. This exploratory study examined which SNSs are used together and the characteristics that predict the use of multiple SNSs. In addition, it observed the differences between consumers' usage of multiple SNSs in different cultures. An online survey was administered to SNS users in the United States and Korea. The results of the study showed that the use of multiple SNSs is not yet prevalent in Korea, the country that represented a collectivistic culture. In addition, in the U.S., the highest number of users reported that they were active on at least three SNSs.

  • Phishing scans through wired telephones have been evolving into smissing and pharming. While we use wire or wireless telephones, text messages, e-mails, and online-banking conveniently, the ways of hacking and phishing attacks are getting developed and various. This paper investigates the various aspects of attacks depending on the kinds of phishing and suggests general prevention measures. In addition, the user-oriented practical preventive measures and government-driven long term measures are proposed in this paper. Technological developments, short or long term preventive measures proposed by the government, and continuous public relations could be solutions since in a short time, it could be difficult to eradicate phishing scams evolving continuously. Besides, the internet media as well as SNS are great helps in promoting the preventives against phishing and smissing. Finally this paper asserts that the newly developed service technology should be made carefully without security problems.

  • 최근 TV시청은 다양한 매체를 통해서 이루어지고 있으며, 특히 스마트폰을 통한 시청률이 늘고 있는 상황이다. 광고시장에서도 TV시청 중에 스마트기기를 함께 이용하는 멀티태스킹 사용자가 급증하고 있으며 특히 10~30대의 사용이 적극적이다. TV시청 중 스마트 기기의 사용분야는 메신저, 정보검색, SNS 순이며 스마트 기기사용 내용 중 69%는 시청하던 TV 시청과 관련된 것이었다. 이 중에 75%는 TV에 등장한 제품, 브랜드, 장소에 관한 것이다[1]. TV를 시청하는 상황에 스마트기기의 소셜 활동의 문자를 분석하는 것은 사용자 의도를 파악할 수 있는 의미가 있으며, 시청자의 현재 위치를 파악함으로써 시청자의 의도에 반영되는 상황을 파악할 수 있다. T-Commerce 구매 의도는 사용자의 현재 상황에 대한 순간 의도를 파악하는것이 중요하며, 이와 같은 구매의도를 파악하기 위해서 본 연구에서는 GPS와, Wi-Fi 기반 Fingerprinting 측위기법을 사용하여 특별한 도구나 장비의 설치 없이 현재위치와 멀티태스킹 데이터를 분석하여 구매의도를 파악한다. T-Commerce 소비환경 패턴이 바뀜에 따라, 다양한 소비 환경 데이터 분석은 효율적인 광고 제공과 만족도를 높일 것으로 기대된다.

  • Customer is the base factor of income for some corporations, so that effective CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is very important to develop the business. In order to use CRM efficiently, we should figure out customers' demands and provide services or products that the customers want. However, it is getting difficult to comprehend customers' demands because they have complicated form and getting more diverse. Recently, social media like Twitter and Facebook let customers to express their demands, and using big data is a very effective method for efficient CRM. This research suggests how to utilize big data for hotel CRM, which considers customer itself as asset of business. In addition, we discuss security problems of big data service and propose the solution for that.
