  • Social media users are an important part of our lives as they spend a lot of time and actively use them. However, it is known that there are many users who feel the psychological stress of SNS stress or fall into addiction due to SNS use. SNS stress negatively affects not only the user's mind but also the body. This study investigates the associations between SNS stress and addiction. To test the hypotheses, the study performed structural equation modeling using Amos. We collected 210 data from SNS users. The empirical results showed that SNS overuse had a significant effect on SNS stress. Second, SNS stress had a significant relationship with SNS addiction. Third, it was found that SNS overuse did not directly affect SNS addiction. This study suggests that it is necessary to recognize the importance of the relationship between SNS addiction and SNS stress.

  • This study aimed to check the role of SNS upward comparison and SNS usage motivation in the effect of contingent self-esteem on inferiority feelings by verifying the link between each variable in young adults. Depending on passed studies, a study model for the relationship of each variable was founded and the moderated mediation effect was checked. We performed a survey on 400 young adults using SNS through an online survey, and finally, a total of 351 data were employed for analysis. The outcome of the analysis was as follows. First, contingent self-esteem, SNS upward comparison, SNS usage motivation, and inferiority feelings were all affirmed to reveal a positive correlation. Second, contingent self-esteem had an important impact on inferiority feelings, which was mediated by SNS upward comparison. Third, the relationship between SNS upward comparison and inferiority feelings was moderated by SNS usage motivation. Finally, SNS usage motivation moderated the indirect effect of contingent self-esteem on inferiority feelings via SNS upward comparison. Based on the results of this study, we presented the psychological and emotional implications that can experience the inferiority feelings in young adults.

This model tests various theoretical research hypotheses relating the social enterprise, task-technology fit (TTF), technology acceptance model (TAM), and usage intention of SNS. The data were gathered from 84 questionnaire respondents. Smart partial least square (PLS) 2.0 have been utilized for deriving the study results. The result of hypothesis testing are as follows. First, TTF positively influence perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and usage intention of SNS. Second, perceived usefulness positively influence usage intention of SNS. But perceived ease of use does not influence usage intention of SNS. This study will provide theoretical and practical implications of TTF and usage intention of SNS in social enterprise.
