Design and Implementation of interlocking between Physical Computing and Social Network Service for disabled people (의사표현에 제약이 있는 장애인을 위한 피지컬 컴퓨팅을 활용한 SNS 연동 시스템 구축에 대한 연구)

  • In recent years, social awareness and concern about the SNS is getting a lot and many researches on the social impact of the SNS and variety strategies using SNS have emerged one after another. In this paper, we explain the method of interlocking between SNS and variety sensors in physical computing environment. Especially we propose that interlocking technology between sensors and twitter in Arduino platform(open source environment) can be used for the handicapped people. We design a way to send message via twitter for handicapped people using values from various sensors.

  • Smart-Learning has been increasing with the growth of smartphone usage. Looking at previous research, this study established the concept of smart learning, current understanding of smart learning and the requirements for smart learning. Subsequently, It was established a concept of SNS, reviewing future education, self-directed learning by using social network, and suggests policies of vitalizing smart-learning by using SNS. In order to use SNS in smart learning, first it is proposed the need for smart learning laws and institutions, particularly with young people considering their emotions in order to expand what is proposed. secondly, the need for SNS usage to be socially and culturally relevant. third and finally, the need for strengthening information security with co-operation from the government.

  • As a diverse range of smartphones has been recently developed and diffused, the users of SNS (Social Network Service) also have been sharply increased. The SNS saves a variety of information such as exchanged pictures and videos, voice mails or location sharing, chat history, etc. as well as simple user data, so that the acquisition of data that are useful in the aspect of digital forensic is achievable. This thesis reviews the types of SNS that are available for the iPhone, a recent example of highly used smartphones, and types of data by each client. Also, efficient data analysis method for digital forensic investigations is suggested by analyzing the relationships within the collected data by each client.

  • SNS allowed users to serve not only as the content and message producer but as the consumer, with development into various types of SNS platforms. Instead of a traditional media structure of media-to-many and unspecified users, it also made it possible to achieve one-to-one or one-to-many interactions, regardless of time and space, through SNS platforms. Moreover, according to development of digital communication technology, IT, media contents and communication network have been mutually connected, though they were once separate. The changes in communication environments have caused rapid disorganization and reorganization in popular culture led by specific expert groups. Such trend has a greater influence on marketing strategies of enterprises. In other words, it will lead them to mostly introduce new information technologies, based on consumer market, and to strategically participate in SNS for promotion and marketing for their products and brands. Likewise, SNS has currently appeared as the main media affecting consumers' behaviors. In consideration of the importance of SNS features, which can stimulate responses of other users, analysis of main features affecting SNS user acceptance decision is required, as well as its utilization strategies. Accordingly, this study conducted division of SNS features into openness, quickness, interactiveness and economical efficiency to derive strategies for increasing the usage frequency of SNS and ultimately maximizing the expectation effect, in addition to an empirical analysis of effects of SNS features on usefulness, easiness and pleasure perceived in SNS, and SNS user intention.

  • Present study investigates the impact of privacy concerns of SNS users on continued intention to use since the privacy infringement issue emerges when smartphone use has been increasingly prevalent. In particular, moderating effect of perceived usefulness and mediating effect of trust between privacy concerns and continued intention to use are further evaluated. Contrary to the expectation that users of SNS will resist to use SNS because of privacy concerns, the number of users of SNS is still growing exponentially. Current paradox might be explained by the intervening factors such as perceived usefulness and trust. The results verify the mediating role of trust and no moderating role of perceived usefulness. Finally, the practical implication for businesses who utilize SNS in their marketing strategy is discussed.

Cyberbullying Victimization Experience on SNSs: Focusing on Self-disclosure, Compulsive Internet Use, and Depressive Status (SNS상에서 사이버불링 피해경험: 자기노출, 강박적 인터넷 사용 그리고 우울한 상태 중심으로)

  • Cyberbullying has become a critical issue as people (especially, young people) daily use social networking sites (SNSs). This study investigates possible factors affecting cyberbullying victimization experiences, comparing SNS users in Austria and Korea. Particularly, this study focuses on how individuals' self-disclosure patterns, compulsive Internet use, and depressive status are related to four different types of cyberbullying victimization experiences (written-verbal, visual, exclusion, and impersonation). Furthermore, the results are compared between SNS users in Austria and Korea. Results from total 519 respondents show that self-disclosure patterns on SNSs, compulsive Internet use, and depressive status are positively related to different types of cyberbullying victimization experiences. However, there are differences between Austria and Korea. For example, the frequency of changing one's profile setting is positively related to all types of cyberbullying victimization experiences in Korea, while it is only positively related to victimization experience of visual cyberbullying in Austria. Depressive status is only positively related to victimization experience of written-verbal cyberbullying in Korea, while it is positively related to all types of cyberbullying victimization experience in Austria.

  • Social Network Service(SNS) has become a hot trend as a web service which helps users construct social relationships in the web and enables online communication. The information about user activities and behaviors obtained from the SNSs is expected to be an useful knowledge source for other services such as recommendation services. Most of previous researches on SNS rely on analyzing overall network topology and surveying the activities in a one-dimensional aspect. This paper propose a system for measuring multi-dimensional interaction through the activities in a SNS. The proposed system delivers an unified profile (consisting of profile and multi-dimension interaction) model from user-activities in Twitter.com. At the experimental section, some meaningful perspectives on a set of the unified profiles are described.

How SNS Brand Personality Affect Mobile Native Ad Attitude (SNS 브랜드 성격이 모바일 네이티브 광고 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the brand personality factors of SNS based on SNS consumers and to examine the effect of SNS brand personality factors on the recognition of mobile native ads in SNS. As a property of mobile native advertisement, research model is suggested by introducing information, reliability, entertainment, interferences, and interactivity as research variables. And SNS users were surveyed. Through the online survey, 341 copies were used for the analysis. According to the results of the analysis, five characteristics of SNS brand personality factors such as 'sincerity', 'enthusiasm', 'charm', 'practical', and 'community' were derived. Among these, 'sincerity', 'enthusiastic', and 'community' brand attributes have a positive effect on most of mobile native advertising attributes, but 'practical' brand characteristics negatively. The attractiveness of the brand was not related to the mobile native advertisement.

An Empirical Study of Discontinuous Use Intention on SNS: From a Perspective of Society Comparison Theory (사회비교이론 관점에서 살펴본 SNS 이용중단 의도)

  • Social networking sites (SNS), such as Facebook, provide abundant social comparison opportunities. Given the widespread use of SNSs, the purpose of the present study was to examine the impact of exposure to social media-based social comparison on user's negative emotions and discontinuous use intention on SNS. We present evidence that under the use of SNS, social comparison activities diverge into three patterns, with explicit self-evaluation desire made against similar target (lateral comparison), self-defense desire made against less fortunate target (downward comparison), and self-enhancement desire made with more fortunate target (upward comparison). Such social comparison processes frequently arise, as people are increasingly using on SNSs, the downward contacts ameliorating self-esteem with positive emotions, but the upward contacts and standard contacts with lateral status enabling a person to compare his or her situation with others and simultaneously increase negative emotions due to its differences with others. In other words, as people increasingly relying on SNSs for a variety of everyday tasks, they risk overexposure to upward or standard social comparison information that may have a cumulative detrimental impact on future intention on SNS use. This study with survey with 209 SNS users found that these negative emotions lead to negative fatigue (attitude) and then discontinuous use intention (behavior) on SNS. Our findings are among the first to explicitly examine discontinuous use intention on SNS using social comparison theory and our results are consistent with those of past research showing that upward social comparisons can be detrimental.

  • 최근의 인터넷환경하에서 고객들과의 소통을 통한 관계의 이해와 관리 필요성이 증가하면서 고객관계관리(Customer Relationship Management, CRM)가 중요한 기능으로 고려되고 있다. CRM은 인터넷의 발달과 함께 e-CRM으로 발전되었으며, 최근 소셜 네트워크 서비스(Social Network Service, SNS)가 활성화되면서 s-CRM으로 변화하고 있다. SNS 는 자기를 표현하는 프로필과 사용자 간의 연결을 통한 소통으로 구성되어 있으며, 사용자간의 의견교환을 통한 자발적인 홍보와 노출뿐만 아니라 고객과 기업의 직접적인 커뮤니케이션 창구로서 CRM 마케팅을 펼치기에 적합하다. 본 연구는 SNS 중 현재 가장 많은 회원을 보유한 페이스북 팬페이지에서 e 쿠폰 발행을 매개로 소셜 네트워크 이용자들을 대상으로 충성 고객을 확보하기 위한 요인들을 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과는 페이스북 기업 팬페이지의 좋아요, e 쿠폰 발행, e 쿠폰 사용내역에서의 각 요인들의 영향을 분석하였다.
