  • In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in recent agricultural energy and increase the energy self-sufficiency rate of each farmer, it is extremely important to expand the supply of solar energy using unused space of agricultural facilities, roof. This study surveyed and analyzed the environmental and administrative factors such as problems according to the structure, azimuth and latitude of broiler houses and stability of standard broiler houses required to use broiler house roof based on the poultry houses in Sangju-si. The results can be summarized as follows: 55.6% of the solar energy facilities of according to the classification of arable lands of broiler houses were available, and 31.7% of them were available by classifying according to the azimuth. However, 20.6% of them were available in the survey considering all the arable land and azimuth. In the roof inclination of the broiler houses, from 20 to $25^{\circ}$ was the most common, 30 broiler houses. The broiler houses with the roof inclination more than $20^{\circ}$ accounted for 63% of the total. It was considered that the inclination was generally proper. In the structural safety, only 3 broiler houses that were constructed as a standard broiler house were available. In practice, all but one broiler house was inappropriate to expand the solar energy project using roof. The solar thermal facility weighed $63.6kg/m^2$ in total: the frame and solar thermal collector weighed $27.8kg/m^2$ and $35.8kg/m^2$, respectively. The standard broiler house required to be internally reinforced. This study suggested a plan for internal reinforcement and a feasible plan because there were problems with structural safety when installing solar thermal and photovoltaic systems.

  • The objective of this research was to investigate concentration and load of nutrients such as total nitrogen (TN), nitrate nitrogen ($NO_3$-N) total phosphorous (TP), and phosphate phosphorous ($PO_4$-P) in a 23.4-ha paddy fields watershed with river water source. Water samples for irrigation water, drainage water, ponded water and groundwater were collected, and irrigation and drainage water were measured at 5~10 day intervals during normal days and at 2~6 hours intervals during three storm events. The amount of irrigation water in the study area was over 2,000 mm, which is almost identical to that in the area irrigated from a large reservoir but much more than that in the area irrigated from a pumping station. Mean flow-weighted concentrations of TN and TP in irrigation water were 2.8 and 0.15 mg/L, respectively, higher than those in the area irrigated from a large reservoir or a pumping station. The ratios of irrigation load to total inflow load for TN and TP were 88 %, and the ratios of surface outflow load to total outflow load for TN and TP were over 90 %, indicating that total nutrient load may be greatly affected by water management. The nutrient loads per area in the study area were estimated as TN 21.1 kg/ha and TP 1.1 kg/ha. Especially, the TP load per area in the study area was smaller than that in the area irrigated from a large reservoir or a pumping station. This may be because outflow load is not high likely due to sedimentation of particulate P and irrigation water load is high due to high TP concentration in irrigation water and high amount of irrigation water.

  • According to the great city development and the rapid growth of redevelopment project, waste concrete emission has been increased. Waste concrete powder is one of the by-product originated from the recycling of the waste concrete. The more making high quality recycled aggregate to use aggregate for concrete, the more waste concrete powder is producted relatively. Therefore, to realize the total recycling of waste concrete, development of recycling technology for waste concrete powder need very much. This technical note present the discharged process and the various properties of waste concrete powder. As the results, on the average, the maximum particle-size of waste concrete powder is less than $600{\mu}m$, and oven-dry density is less than $2.5g/cm^3$. And waste concrete powder contains more than 50% of $SiO_2$, 30% of CaO and 10% of $Al_2O_3$. Thus qualities of waste concrete powder is lower than those of high quality raw material for concrete. However, if it is processed by grading to the purpose, it will be used as resource of raw materials for construction field.

  • The Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) builds the origin and destination(O-D) trip data with relatively smaller zone size such as Eup, Myeon, Dong administration unit districts in metropolitan area. Otherwise, O-D trip data was built by bigger size of traffic analysis zone(TAZ) such as Si, Gun, Gu administration unit districts for rural area. In some cases, it is needed to divide a zone into several sub-zones for rural area in order to analyze travel distribution pattern in detail for a certain highway and rail project. The study suggested a method to estimate O-D trips for sub-zones in the larger-size zones in rural area. Two different distribution models, direct demand model and gravity model, were calibrated for sub-zone's intra-zonal O-D trip pattern with metropolitan area O-D data which has smaller zone-size (sub-zone) data categorized by low, middle and high population density. The calibration results were compared between the two models. The gravity model with impedance function of power functional form was selected with better explanation for all groups in the metropolitan area. The adjusted $R^2$ was 0.7426, 0.6456 and 0.7194 for low, middle and high population density group, respectively. The suggested O-D trip estimating method is expected to produce enhanced trip patterns with sub-divided small zones.

  • The Cadastral Renovation is a National project to investigate and survey the registration of Cadastral Record and replace the existing Cadastral Record with a new Cadastral Record by digital, and to correct the registration of Cadastral Record if the registration of Cadastral Record does not match the actual status of the land. The Business Period generally takes about one year and six months to two years. The time required is getting longer due to problems that occur in the course of the Adjustment amount after the cadastral resurvey survey due to complex structure and internal conflict due to the interest between landowners. After Boundary Decision of the real boundary, the land area is confirmed by the landowners, and the cadastral office is to settle the Cadastral Renovation by calculating the Adjustment amount according to the confirmed area and the increase and decrease of the cadastral area. Therefore, the solution plan was suggested so that reasonable Adjustment amount can be applied through empirical research applied to the time of calculation of Adjustment amount and the method of calculation of Adjustment amount. The improvement method showed the expected effect that can lead the agreement with the landowner to the shortest period, and it was also possible to set the real boundary that meets the purpose of the Cadastral Renovation. This study suggests improvements in the method of calculating standard Adjustment amount, the method of imposing Adjustment amount, and the method of boundary adjustment that does not impose adjustment amount through the cadastral Renovation and parallel studies, and it is expected that the Cadastral Renovation will be completed by 2030.

  • Based on the capabilities of smartphone cameras which have developed rapidly in recent decades, coupled with and the global market penetration rate, it will study the possibility of various international exchanges through smartphone filmmaking. This aims to achieve a civilian-oriented cultural exchange, instead of simply providing capital-oriented exchanges and film production education. The Smartphone Film Workshop was held as an auxiliary event of the Korea-Vietnam Film Festival, which ran from November 17 to 22, 2017. The three-day workshop, which took place within the festival period, drew attention for its international collaboration project between Korean film directors and Vietnamese film students. The researcher conducted practical-based research while participating as a mentor at this workshop. A step-by-step approach to the entire process of production and post-production was administered, including workshop team composition, scenario, and pre-production in Korea such as shooting equipment, schedule, completion of local works, and screening. Through an analysis of exchange cases at international workshops, we will use trial and error as ways to improve and consider the results of cultural exchanges and the effects of future expectations. Taking this empirical case study into account, we anticipate more active international exchanges through the smartphone workshops.
