  • Discrimination of media object segments in wireless home proxies has a significant impact on caching delay, and caching delay degrades the performance of the proxy. In this paper, we propose a Single Fetching Smart Caching (SFSC) strategy and a Multi-Fetching Smart Caching (MFSC) strategy to improve the proxy performance of the home network and improve the caching performance for media object segments. The SFSC strategy is a technique that performs caching by sequential fetching of object segments requested by the home node one at a time, which guarantees a faster cache hit rate, and the MFSC strategy is a technique that caches the media object segments by blocking object segments requested by the home node one at a time, which improves the throughput of cache. Simulation results show that the cache hit rate and the caching delay are more efficient than the MFSC technique, and the throughput of the object segment is more efficient than that of the SFSC technique.

  • The Hongseong-Gun school food service center (Hongseong SFSC) that is managed directly by local government is supplying local environmentally friendly foods from 2014. This study aimed to analyze a case on Hongseong SFSC and to propose improving directions. Hongseong SFSC showed higher supply ratio (67.4%) of local environmentally friendly foods compared to the other centers. The operation effects of this center are reliably price of farmer's products, increased consumption of local agri-products, school food confidence, and so on. But there are many problems on this operation. Improvement directions of SFSC for local food system are as follows: Firstly, the supply range of foodstuffs is needed to establish quality standards to increase foodstuffs quality. Secondly, guidelines for creating a fair commission fee structure should be established. Thirdly, the contract issues between the center and schools need to be resolved by governance system. Fourthly, local environmentally friendly agricultural cultivation and cropping systems are required to establish reliably supply of farmer's products.

Social and Economic Effects of Environment-friendly School Food Service Center on Environment-friendly Agricultural Producers - Focused on Three Cases in Chungcheongnam-Do - (친환경 학교급식지원센터가 친환경 농가에게 미치는 사회·경제적 영향에 대한 분석 - 충남 3개 시·군 학교급식지원센터를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to present operating directions of school food service center (SFSC) for development of environment-friendly agricultural producers (EFAP) and regional agriculture. Of eight SFSCs being operated in Chungcheongnam-do, this study analyzed situations of three cases, Cheonan, Asan and Hongseong. The analysis on operation situations revealed that all the three cases had positive economic effects on EFAP in the aspect of low commission and fixed supply price for a given period. The survey showed that social and economic changes since participating in the SFSC were largest in Asan. The awareness of the economic effects was largest among the producers in Cheonan.

  • Setting a Problem : Developing industrialization and urbanization has been accompanying the outflow of farming-and fisheries village's population, and brings upon lowering of number of fishermen and their productive efficiency as a result. The point of issue of such an outflow of fishermen which is a cause of the shortage of fisheries man-power should be considered through the analysis of the present state of fishery, and then 'How should the normative fisheries man-power policy be performed?' has to be thought after the investigation upon self-existable fishermen's successor-cultivation(SFSC) project which has been driven forward by government. Method of Study : In order to seek concretely a rational way to achieve SFSC undertaking successfully, the teleological method is adopted fundamentally. But the analysis on the fisheries present state centering on fisheries population and the fishery-orientedness of fishermen who are selected randomly in five islands of Jeonranamdo-Province and Kyeongsangnamdo-Province has been tried with the object of groping for a successful and purposive way of successor-cultivation. And the controversial point is brought out through the analysis of the first year's result which SFSC project has been undertaken in 1981. The above-mentioned affair is especially studied on the basic attitude which 'fishery' is a 'profession'.

  • This study focused on the preparation and characterization of anti-wrinkle peptides from the salted and fermented shrimp (Acetes japonicus) inoculated with Salinivibrio cibaria BAO-01 (SFSC). The results showed the proximate composition of SFSC to be 9.23% water, 75.32% protein, 0.23% fat, and 13.3 mg/g ash. Interestingly, the S. cibaria fermentation significantly increased the amount of methionine, leucine, and arginine. The in vitro antioxidant activity was assayed by the diphenylpicrylhydrazyl method and its IC50 value was found to be 43.02±2.84 ㎍/mL. It was observed to inhibit the activity of elastase, tyrosinase, collagenase, and hyaluronidase. The IC50 values of SFSC were 182.75±12.38 ㎍/mL for anti-elastase activity, 186.78±7.95 ㎍/mL for anti-tyrosinase activity, 444.4±34.81 ㎍/mL for anti-collagenase activity, and 1447.95±28.92 ㎍/mL for anti-hyaluronidase activity. These results suggest that salted and fermented shrimp has strong potential for the development of nutricosmetic products.
