A model is presented in this paper to provide understanding of the supply chain integration and supply chain information practices' impact on the manufacturing industries. The supply chain information practices play a crucial role in sharing information between the members of SC network. Thus, it is important to develop a comprehensive understanding of the differences and similarities among ISI and information management. It will allow firms to systematically evaluate and carefully choose the information strategy. The empirical findings of this research offer essential and interesting insights about what role SCI, supply chain information and Supply chain ISI play in determining Malaysia's financial performance. The theoretical gaps addressed in this study are of significant importance, since a little empirical evidence is available regarding system infrastructure and supply chain information management's effectiveness. This research provides further paths of exploring system infrastructure and information management, thereby defining the manufacturing industries' next step in SCM struggle i.e. modifying total integrated SC principle in other manufacturing firms. The Resource-based theory discovered organizational resources as an essential organizational success ingredient. Therefore, in order to recognize its potential value, internal resources, for instance, information system and management must be fully utilized.

We aim to explain the role of corporate's 'long-term orientation' and 'asset specificity' in the process of SCM(Supply Chain Management) practices' effect on SCM performances, with empirical study about 167 manufacturing companies ail over the country. With confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model using AMOS program, we conclude long-term orientation and asset specificity act as 'infra-structural role', rather than 'Intermediate role', in the process of SCM practice's effect on SCM performances.

In this paper, effects of information sharing in multi-level supply chain management have been studied through simulation. The simulation model consists of a manufacturing company as a center, three suppliers, two logistic centers, and three different retail supply lines of each logistics centers. The mathematical model and the simulation were developed when real-time information sharing occurs and does not occur in supply chain under the assumption that each company applies (s, S) inventory policies. In addition, this paper analyzed the effects of the change of variables related to total costs, which compose of total ordering cost, total transportation cost, total carrying cost and shortage cost that are caused by the change of demand of three different patterns with the way of information sharing.

In today's changing environment where the product life-cycle is becoming shorter, enterprises are forced to introduce new products as rapidly as possible and to score a success in a market. It is important to manage suppliers who supply parts of the new products to satisfy variable demands. We suggest performance measures of flexibility for suppliers in new products environments. We analyzed the measures from literatures, SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model and several scorecards. A simulation study was made with the measures in order to understand adaptability of a supply chain. It could help a manufacturer make a decision of purchasing and find a bottleneck supplier.

In the supply chain, The ATP function doesn't only give customers to confirmation of delivery. It can be used by the core function with ATP rule that can reconcile supplies and demands on the supply chain. Therefore We can acquire the conformation about accuracy on the due date of supplier by using the ATP function of management about real and concurrent access on the supply chain, also can decide the affect about product availability due to forecasting or customer's orders through the ATP. This study analyze the data concerned with ATP and define the necessity on a SCM solution. Under the these environments, after defining the ATP rule that can improve the customer value and data flow related the CRM, we propose the advanced ATP model that proposes the method and classification system that can flexibly aggregate the ATP data with ATP rule on the supply chain.

In recent years, the demand for green buildings is growing fast due to legislative and social pressures. Construction organizations, which play an important role in promoting building industry growth, are facing with challenges on how to adapt themselves to enhance sustainability of the buildings. In this paper, the green value chain and system frameworks, an extend application of Porter's value chain and system models, are introduced. Based on deep analysis of the green value chain and system frameworks, a revolution model for construction organizations towards green building is created. Management factors critical for a successful green building project, at the firm and project organization level, are extracted. Furthermore, external critical relationships are also identified. Fully understanding of these management factors and the model can help and enable practitioner to know what new capabilities should be deployed and developed in the long run for maximizing sustainability.

This study examined the factors that make Korean companies adopt supply chain management systems. By adding a group of inter-organizational factors, we extended an innovation-theory-based research model to study the information technology adoption. Sixty three questionnaires from 700 leading companies in Korea were collected and analyzed. Independent variables of the research included environmental, organizational, innovation, and relational characteristics. We found that supply chain management systems in Korean companies are at the initial stage of the adoption, in general. This research also found that company's environmental characteristics have insignificant relationship with the adoption of supply chain management systems. In addition, organizational characteristics (the support of top management, the size of organization, and the information technology infrastructure), innovation characteristics of the supply chain, and the power exercised over the supply chain played important roles in adopting supply chain management systems.

We present the results of molecular dynamics simulations for three different systems of bilayers of long-chain alkyl thiol [S(CH2)15CH3] molecules on an solid-solid interface using the extended collapsed atom model for the chain-molecule. It is found that there exist two possible transitions: a continuous transition characterized by a change in molecular interaction between sites of different chain molecules with increasing area per molecule and a sudden transition from an ordered lattice-like state to a liquid-like state due to the lack of interactions between sites of chain molecules on different surfaces with increasing distance between two solid surfaces. The third system displays a smooth change in probability distribution characterized by the increment of gauche structure in the near-tail part of the chain with increasing area per molecule. The analyses of energetic results and chain conformation results demonstrate the characteristic change of chain structure of each system.

본 연구의 목적은 중소공급업체의 공정성 지각의 선행요인과 결과요인의 규명을 통하여 대기업과 중소기업간의 상생을 위한 요인을 파악하고자 하였다. 중소공급업체 공정성 지각의 선행요인으로는 수직적 조정, 협력지원, 정보공유, 법계약적지배의 네가지 변수를, 결과요인으로는 공급체인의존성과 공급체인유연성으로 가정하여 분석을 시도하였다. 첫째, 대형구매업체의 수직적 조정은 중소공급업체의 분배공정성 지각과 절차공정성 지각에 정(正)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대형구매업체의 협력지원은 중소공급업체의 분배공정성 지각과 절차공정성 지각에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대형구매업체가 중소공급업체에 더 큰 요구를 하는 경우가 많기 때문에 이런 결과가 나온 것으로 추정된다. 셋째, 대형구매업체의 정보공유는 중소공급업체의 분배공정성 지각에는 정(正)의 영향을 미치고 절차공정성 지각에는 직접영향은 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대형구매업체의 법계약적지배는 중소공급업체의 분배공정성 지각에 부(負)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나고, 절차공정성 지각에 부(負)의 영향의 방향성은 나타났다. 다섯째, 절차공정성은 공급체인의존성에 직접영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났지만 공정성은 공급체인 의존성 및 공급체인 유연성에 직접, 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The results of a study of the coordination effect in stocking and promotional markdown policies for a supply chain consisting of a retailer and a discount outlet (DCO) are reported here. We assume that the product is sold in two consecutive periods: the Normal Sales Period (NSP) and the subsequent Promotional Markdown Sales Period (PSP). We first study an integrated supply chain in which managers in the two periods design a common system so as to jointly decide the stocking quantities, markdown time schedule, and markdown price to maximize mutual profit. Next, we consider a decentralized supply chain. An uncoordinated contract is designed in which decisions are decentralized to optimize the individual party's objective function. Here, three sources of system inefficiencies cause the decentralized system to earn a lower expected system profit than that in the integrated supply chain. The three sources are as follows: in the decentralized system the retailer tends to (1) stock less, and (2) keep a longer sales period, and the DCO tends to (3) stock fewer leftovers inventories and charge a higher markdown price. Finally, a numerical experiment is provided to compare the coordinated model with the uncoordinated model to explore factors that make coordination an effective approach.
