Design and Implement a Smart Automobile Self-Diagnosis System based on The Driving information (자동차 주행정보를 활용한 스마트 자동차 자가 점검 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • In order to drive a vehicle safely, driver needs to check status of the car. Many moderns are having trouble to spare time to visit auto mechanic and have car mechanics to check their car other than their office hours. If the car status cannot be inspected regularly, it is likely to cause a big accident threatening the surroundings as well as driver's life. Inspection tool and system help driver to check their own vehicle status personally are required for preventing it. In this paper, it designed and realized system that records driving information based on changing data of vehicle (location and automotive internal data) and allows driver can check the vehicle status easily and further, driver can share the driving information with repair shop via the Internet to receive detailed inspection service for car status.

  • Purpose As the smartphone market arrived at its saturation, from world leading information and communications technologies (ICT) businesses to startups, companies are competing to develop innovative wearable device products and suitable contents. Utility, technology, design, price, and various killer contents development targeting every customer's need should be considered for a success in the wearable device market. Design/methodology/approach Prior studies on innovation technology of ICT field have mainly focused on the innovation diffusion theory, expectation confirmation theory, and technology acceptance model, this study suggested the innovation resistance factors of adopting the smart wearable devices based on the innovation resistance model and theory of perceived risk. The model comprises the following two characteristics factors: 1) innovation characteristics which include perceived relative advantages, perceived compatability, perceived complexity, and perceived risk, 2) consumer characteristics which include attitudes towards innovation and existing products (i.e., mobile devices and analog watches). This study developed an extended innovation resistance model to explain the intention to acceptance of wearable devices consumers and collected 284 online survey responses from the non-consumers of the wearable devices. Findings The findings of this study suggest that perceived relative advantage, perceived compatibility, perceived complexity, perceived risk, attitudes towards innovation and attitudes towards existing analog watches affected the innovation resistance which has negative influence on the intention to adoption of wearable devices.

Determinants of Credibility of Electronic Word-of-Mouth (eWOM) in WeChat-based Social Commerce: Applying the Heuristic-Systematic Model (중국의 웨이신(WeChat) 기반 소셜커머스에서 온라인 구전 신뢰성의 결정요인: 휴리스틱-체계적 모델(HSM)의 적용)

  • Purpose Along with the growth of smart phones and social networking service (SNS), social commerce continues to expand. Although online reviews have become an important source of the information that consumers use to make purchasing decisions, theoretical development and empirical testing in this area are still limited. Thus, there is a need to develop further understanding about the influence of electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM). Drawing upon the heuristic - systematic model (HSM) which is one of the dual-process theories, this study develops a research model that explains key factors influencing consumers' eWOM credibility. Furthermore, this study verifies that consumer's eWOM credibility is a key determinant of eWOM and purchase intentions. Design/methodology/approach The proposed model is empirically tested with 493 users who have experience in WeChat-based social commerce. The structural equation model (SEM) analysis is used to evaluate the research model and hypotheses. Findings The major findings are as follows. First, argument quality of eWOM (a systematic factor) has a positive effect on eWOM credibility. Second, source credibility and recommendation consistency of eWOM (heuristic factors) are positively associated with eWOM credibility. Finally, purchase and eWOM intentions greatly depend on eWOM credibility. These results confirm the effectiveness of HSM in explaining eWOM mechanisms in SNS-based social commerce. The details of findings and implications are presented.

Implementation of Group Management System with Smart Phone Devices and Wireless Sensor Network (스마트폰 및 무선 센서 네트워크를 기반으로 한 그룹관리 시스템의 구현)

  • The group management system with Wireless Sensor Network and android application is proposed in this paper. The proposed system was composed of personal devices with sensor nodes of WSN, manager device of android platform, and the web server. The sensor node used by each group member send a data packet to the manager device every 2 seconds. The leader device displays and transmits entire information to the web server. The web server represents these information through web page. Therefore, guardians can assure their group member's safety and security on the web page. The RSSI value of each sensor node converted by computed log-normal path loss model into distance value and displays on the manager device and the web page.

  • Recently, augmented reality(AR) based building information applications using a smart phone provide information in the static form irrespective of the distance between a user and a target building. If many target buildings are located close to each other, discrimination of information is reduced due to overlapping information objects. Furthermore, it is difficult to intuitively grasp the current position of the user in the previous AR-based applications. In this paper, to solve these limitations, we have designed and implemented a novel building information system in which the location and size of information objects are adaptively displayed according to locations of a user and target buildings, and which allows users to intuitively understand their location by providing a 3D map that displays the user's location and all target buildings within a given distance in real-time. The AR-based building information application proposed in this paper focuses on the building guide in Deoksu Palace in Jung-gu, Seoul.

  • Car-mounted MMS (Mobile Mapping System) is the most effective tool for mapping of high definition road maps(HD Map). The MMS is composed of various sensor combinations, and the manufacturing methods and processing software are different for each manufacturer, performance cannot be predicted only by the specifications of the parts. Therefore, it is necessary to judge whether each equipment is suitable for mapping through performance evaluation, and facilities for periodic performance evaluation. In this paper, we explained the MMS performance evaluation facilities built at the SOC Evaluation Research Center of Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology and analyzed the conditions that the evaluation facilities should have through a literature survey and field tests.

  • This study aims to find out the influences of user behavior, content characteristics, functional factors and user's perception in cost on user satisfaction and continuous intention in N-Screen service. Web survey was conducted for 498 users who have used N screen service. The results show that the most influential factor contributing to user satisfaction is user interface. VOD diversity, payment system, cost, channel diversity are also meaningful factors. Identifying the critical factors which impact on user satisfaction, this study can provide the basic data for activating OTT service in smart media environment.

  • This paper is a study on export support system that a small company can make the export performance early in the overseas market and also can enhance international marketing capabilities. The model is solved to operational problems of the conventional export support program, and it contained a further support action to complement the weakness of the program. We want to create a Smart-Platform(Export Power Double Plus-Platform: EPDP)that we can improve the export capability of SMEs in the short term. The model will be very useful to export support agencies as an integrated support platform that supports the international marketing of the korean SMEs. And added some case studies of SMEs in Daejeon city.

Ultra-wideband Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna with H-shaped Parasitic Patches (에이치(H)자 형태의 기생패치를 가진 초광대역 안티포달 비발디 안테나)

  • Ultra-wideband antennas are desired for several applications including satellite communications, radars, remote sensing system, telescopes, and microwave imaging systems. There are many types of wideband antenna structures, but the tapered slot Vivaldi antenna is advantageous in terms of cost, weight, scan angle capabilities, end-fire radiation, and ease of feeding and system integration. In this paper, a modified antipodal Vivaldi antenna is presented. A novel AVA with H-shaped parasitic patches has the capacity to improve the radiation characteristics in the whole operation frequencies. A prototype of the modified antenna with RT/duroid 5880 substrate of a relative dielectric constant (${\epsilon}_r$) of 2.2, and a thickness of 31mil is fabricated and experimentally studied as well. It measures a ${\mid}S_{11}{\mid}$ of less than -10dB and gain of 9-12dBi over 7.8-52.5GHz which shows reasonable agreement with the simulated one.

  • Twitter is using Tweets to post 140 characters at a time to interact with different people around the world. In addition, Twitter will also provide speed, such as instant messaging by providing the follow feature. This was used for increasing the number of users because of the tweeter, a portion of the life was due to the popularity of smart phones. However, because of the large amount of data of the tweeter has a disadvantage similar to the user information or user information is not recommended. In this paper, in order to compensate for this problem to establish a ranking filter the similarity information based on a user's system, we propose that the user or the like similar to the user information. The system proposed in this paper consists of the collected data and modules to collect data using a user account in the filtering and the like to the tweeter module. These modules use the Open API and Mahout designed and implemented.
