  • Recently with the development of semiconductor technology, the miniaturization of parts and products as well as their high precision is required. In addition, as the national competitiveness is increasingly affected by the development of the micro parts through micro machining technology, the study of the micro machining technology is being conducted in many countries. The goal of this study is to fabricate micro tools under the size of $20{\mu}m$ and to machine micro holes using them. The fabrication is done by grinding and the application of ELID to the grinding wheel. The surface roughness of the micro tools is measured to evaluate the study.

  • In recent industry, according to pursuit the miniaturization and high-precision of machine part with development of new technology as IT and BT, the development of mold manufacturing technology for mass production is accompanied. This study proposes the design of micro mold-base, predicts the error of product through estimating transformation of injection process using FEM. Therefore the mold-base which is suitable for micro injection proposed in this study. Finally, the error of feature is analyzed by measuring the manufactured micro mold-base.

  • 최근 국내 소프트웨어 개발 분야에서도 개발 프로세스의 중요성이 강조되면서 그 활용도가 높아지고 있다. 하지만 기존의 개발 프로세스 모델들은 일부 대형 개발 업체나 높은 기술 수준을 보유한 개발 업체를 제외하고는 실질적으로 적용시키기에 적합하지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내 소프트웨어 개발 업체 실정에 맞춘 효율적인 개발 방법을 제시하기 위한 개발 프로세스 모델을 제시한다. 본 프로세스 모델은 정확한 요구사항 도출을 위한 프로토타이핑 접근 방법과 구현 단계에서의 점진적 개발 방법에 중점을 둔다.

  • 본 논문에서는 모델 기반 접근 방법을 이용하여 임베디드 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위한 자동화된 API 변환기에 대하여 기술한다. MDA(Model Driven Architecture)가 임베디드 소프트웨어의 개발에 관해서는 지원이 매우 미약하기 때문에, 우리는 MDA의 장점인 구현 공정의 자동화를 포함하면서도 실시간 오버헤드 문제를 해결할 수 있는 새로운 접근 방법을 제시한다. 첫 번째로, 어느 특정 RTOS에 의존하지 않지만 전형적인 RTOS 서비스들의 대부분을 제공할 수 있도록 Generic API를 정의한다. 우리는 이 Generic API를 이용하여 타겟 응용프로그램의 RTOS와 관련된 행동을 CIC(Common Intermediate Code)에서 표현할 수 있다. 그 다음에, Generic API를 이용하여 기술된 CIC를 특정 RTOS에서 수행할 수 있는 C-코드로 변환할 수 있는 변환 툴을 제안한다. 제안된 API 변환기는 외부에 정의되어 있는 XML 변환 규칙을 이용하여 코드를 변환한다. 따라서 API 변환기는 이 변환 규칙을 수정하거나 추가하여 다른 RTOS로 적용할 수 있도록 확장이 가능하다. 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법을 확인한다.

  • Intelligent distribution automation system have total monitoring and control capability. The system covers substation, distribution network, distributed generations and customers at HV system. Various intelligent distribution facilities installed at distribution systems have voltage sensor, current sensor, aging monitoring sensor. Intelligent Feeder Remote Terminal Unit (IFRTU) tied to intelligent distribution facilities process information from facilities and it checks information of fault, power quality and aging of distribution facilities. The information is transmitted to master station through communication line. The master station have remote monitoring system covers substation, distribution network, distributed generations and customers. It also have various application programs that maintain optimal network operation by using information from on-site devices.

  • A superconducting CICC (Cable-In-Conduit-Conductor) is adopted the KSTAR (Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research) superconducting magnet system which consists of 16 TF coils and 14 PF coils. For the test of KSTAR CICC, an ambient magnetic field of $\pm$ 8 T With a maximum change rate of 20 T/s is required and a background-field magnet system is being developed for SSTF (Samsung Superconductor Test Facility). The CICC for PF1~5 is used as the conductor for background-field coils to check the validity of the PF CICC design. Two pieces of cables have been fabricated and the cable has the length of 870 m and the diameter of 20.3 mm. A continuous CICC jacketing system is developed for the KSTAR CICC fabrication and the jacketing system uses the tube-mill process, which consists of forming, welding, sizing and squaring procedures. The design specification of CICCs and the fabrication process is described.

  • 기존 콘크리트 구조물 내력은 변위 및 스트레인 게이지를 통해 기지의 가력에 따른 변화량을 계측하고, 그 결과를 수치해석 결과와 비교하여 평가한다. 이는 결과적으로 현존 콘크리트의 잔류응력을 계측 평가하므로써 완성될 수 있다. 본 논문은 실험적 응력해석법의 일환으로 콘크리트 구조물에 대한 잔류응력을 비파괴적인 방식으로 평가하는 IITC (Instrumented Indentation Technique for Concrete) 시스템 개발과 관련된 것으로 콘크리트 구조물 표면에서 압입하중과 압입깊이와의 상관관계를 이용한 실험적 평가방법을 논하였다. 본 연구에서는 구성되는 H/W 및 분석용 S/W는 새롭게 개발하였으며, 다각도의 실험결과를 이용하여 콘크리트 구조물에서의 실험적 잔류응력 추정식을 창출하였고, 자동으로 잔류응력을 평가케 함으로써 콘크리트 구조물의 축성단계에서부터 유지관리 단계에까지 자유롭게 내력을 산정할 수 있도록 하였다.

A correlation between moisture and compressive strength of a damaged 15-year-old rammed soil house

  • Earthen structures have an excellent bioclimatic performance, but they are vulnerable against earthquakes. In order to investigate the edification process and costs, a full-scale rammed soil house was constructed in 2004. In 2016-2019, it was studied its seismic damage, durability and degradation process. During 2004-2016, the house presented a relatively good seismic performance (Mw=5.6-6.4). The damaged cover contributed in the fast deterioration of walls. In 2018 it was observed a partial collapse of one wall due to recent seismicity (Mw=5.6-6.1). The 15-year-old samples presented a reduced compressive strength (0.040 MPa) and a minimum moisture (1.38%). It is estimated that the existing house has approximately a remaining 20% of compressive strength with a degradation of about 5.4% (0.0109 MPa) per year (considering a time frame of 15 years) if compared to the new soil samples (0.2028 MPa, 3.52% of moisture). This correlation between moisture and compressive strength degradation was compared with the study of new soil samples at the same construction site and compared against the extracted samples from the 15-year-old house. At 7-14-days, the specimens presented a similar compressive strength as the degraded ones, but different moisture. Conversely, the 60-days specimens shown almost five times more strength as the existing samples for a similar moisture. It was observed in new rammed soil that the lower the water content, the higher the compressive/shear strength.

  • In the cold forming process, it is not easy to fabricate a asymmetric type nut, due to the difficulty in the exact prediction of metal-flow. As we have identified, in that case, it often results in the various forging defects such as burrs, and an incomplete shape, as well as other problems because of this issue. In the current study, we introduce the development of an unparalleled shape Weld Nut by using a forging analysis tool (AFDEX). For the multi-forming machine, the optimized shapes of each intermediate product (step product) could be found by the use of a model for the prediction and analysis of various types, sizes and heights. Chiefly, forging tools were prepared based on the simulation results and an unparalleled shape could be prepared at one time without any burrs, incomplete shape and size.

닭발 뼈 제거장치 개발에 관한 연구(2) - 뼈 제거장치 제작 및 성능시험 - (Studies on Development of a Chicken Feet-bone Remover (II) - Manufacture of Chicken Feet-bone Remover -)

  • Consumption of chicken feet has been increasing recently, thus it was necessary to produce good quality of bone less chicken feet. In the process of bone removal during chicken feet production, feeding, conveying, cutting and bone removing process takes about 90% of overall labor. Therefore, the development of a chicken feet-bone remover was necessary to reduce the cost of labor. The main objective of this study was to make and test of chicken feet-bone remover. The optimum vibration level of feeder wes 8, and the optimum conveyor speed was 3.6 m/min. The feeding speed of feeder were 0.18 m/s, 0.13 m/s and 0.19 m/s for the weight ranges of chicken feet of >20 g, 20~30 g and 30 g< respectively. The sensing success rates of chicken feet were 100%, 98% and 96% for the conveyor speeds of 3.0, 3.6 and 4.2 m/min respectively. The slips of chicken feet were 1.0 mm, 1.9 mm and 3.2 mm for conveyor speed of 0.8, 1.9 and 4.2 m/min respectively, with the average moisture content of 65% (w.b). The incision accuracy rates of the chicken leg were 46%, 95%, 97% for the size ranges of >15 mm, 15~18 mm, 18 mm< respectively with the velocity of cutting blade 3.9 m/s. The removal rates of the chicken feet bone were 98%, 96%, 88% for toes diameter >10 mm, 10~15 mm, 15 mm> respectively with the velocity of cutting blade 11.8 m/s.
