한국 프로야구팀들의 실점을 설명하기 위한 수비지표를 연구하였다. 출루율과 장타율을 결합한 OPS가 팀들의 득점력을 매우 잘 설명한다는 사실을 동기로 하여 본 논문에서는 팀들의 실점을 설명하기 위한 수비지표를 연구하였다. 여러 가지의 수비지표 중 팀의 실점과 상관관계가 높은 것들을 결합하여 만든 몇 가지의 결합 지표들을 고려하였다. 프로야구 원년인 1982년부터 2015년까지의 정규리그 전 경기 자료를 분석한 결과 수정WHIP와 이닝당피홈런의 가중평균으로 정의되는 가중수정WPH2가 실점을 가장 잘 설명해줬다. 구체적으로 수정WHIP에 34%, 이닝당피홈런에 66%의 가중값을 두는 가중수정WPH2가 팀의 경기당 평균실점과 0.95362의 상관계수를 갖는 최적의 지표인 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 Kim과 Kim (2015a)에서 얻어진 지표에 의한 결과보다 좀 더 향상된 결과이다. 시대별 분석에서도 크게 다르지 않은 결과를 얻었다. 또한 얻어진 지표의 값이 좋은 투수 10명씩의 명단을 최근 3년간에 대해 연도별로 작성해보았다.

After a work of Derman and Ross(1997) that considered simple main runs rules and derived ARL (Average Run Length) using Markov chain modeling, $\bar{X}$ control chart based on diverse alternative main and supplementary runs rules that is the most popular control chart for monitoring the mean of a process are proposed. This paper reviews and discusses the-state-of-art researches for these runs rules and classifies according to several properties of runs rules. ARL derivation for a proposed runs rule is also illustrated.

This article investigates economic-statistical design of VSI(variable samling interval) charts considering Various Runs Rules. Most recent adaptive control charts are conplex designs. Actually It's not easy to operating control quality process. We propose a procedure for designing VSI Runs charts, based on Lorenzen and Vence's model. The optimal design parameters of the charts can be determined by minimizing the cost model. And computational experiments show that the VSI Runs Rules charts is superior to the FSSI Runs Rules charts in the economic-statistical characterisitics.

Purpose: This paper introduces new 2-of-3 main and supplementary runs rules to increase the performance of the classical $\bar{X}$ control chart for detecting small process shifts. Methods: The proposed runs rules are compared with other competitive runs rules by numerical experiments. Nonlinear optimization problem to minimize the out-of-control ARL at a specified shift of process mean for determining action and warning limits at a time is formulated and a procedure to find two limits is illustrated with a numerical example. Results: The proposed 2-of-3 main and supplementary runs rules demonstrate an improved performance over other runs rules in detecting a sudden shift of process mean by simultaneous changes of mean and standard deviation. Conclusion: To increase the performance in the detection of small to moderate shifts, the proposed runs rules will be used with $\bar{X}$ control charts.

한국 프로야구에서 팀들의 실점을 설명하기 위한 지표를 연구하였다. Kim과 Kim (2014)이 팀들의 득점력을 설명하기 위한 공격지표를 연구한 것과 유사하게 본 논문에서는 팀들의 실점을 설명하기 위한 수비지표를 연구하였다. 여러 가지의 수비지표 중 팀의 실점과 관련이 큰 것들을 결합하여 만든 몇 가지의 결합지표들을 고려하였다. 프로야구 원년인 1982년부터 2014년까지의 정규리그 전 경기 자료를 분석한 결과 WHIP와 경기당피홈런의 가중평균으로 정의되는 가중WPH가 실점을 가장 잘 설명해줬다. 구체적으로 WHIP에 81%, 경기당피홈런에 19%의 가중값을 주는 가중WPH가 팀의 평균실점과 0.95033의 상관계수를 갖는 최적의 가중WPH인 것으로 나타났다. 시대별 분석에서도 크게 다르지 않은 결과를 얻었다.

야구의 피타고라스 정리는 야구의 승률을 추정하는 방법으로 오랜 기간 동안 타당성이 입증되고 또 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2005년부터 2014년 사이의 한국프로야구 팀대 팀 전체기록을 이용하여 실제승률과 피타고라스 정리에 의해 추정된 기대승률의 차이가 발생하는 원인을 회귀모형을 이용하여 살펴보았다. 기대승률과 실제승률의 차이가 큰 경우는 득점과 실점의 분포가 특이하다는 가정아래에서 종속변수는 실제승률과 기대승률의 차이, 독립변수로는 게임당 득점 및 실점의 평균, 표준편차, 변동계수를 각각 이용하였다. 그 결과 실제승률과 기대승률의 차이에는 게임당 실점의 표준편차와 변동계수가 영향을 미치며 게임당 득점의 영향은 없는 것으로 나타났다.

Runs test is a mathematical tool to test the stationarity of electromyographic (EMG) signals. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of segmentation size on the stationarity of EMG signals in runs test. Six subjects participated in this experiment and performed isometric trunk exertions for twenty seconds at the load level of 25% and 50% MVC. The signals extracted from the erector spinae muscles were divided into the intervals of 1000ms and the stationarity of the signal in each interval was tested by the runs test. In this test, seven segmentation sizes such as 1.0, 2.0, 3.9, 7.8, 15.6, 31.3 and 62.5ms were applied. Additionally, two stationarity tests of reverse arrangements test and modified reverse arrangements test were used to verify the results of the runs test. In results, the segmentation size of 62.5ms showed the similar results with the other stationarity tests. However, the stationarity values among there tests were different each other when segmentation sizes other than 62.5ms were used. These results indicated the effect of segmentation size in runs test that needs to be considered to have consistent and sensitive result in stationarity test.

This research proposes a design method based on the statistical characteristics of the Shewhart control chart incorporated with 2 of 2 and 2 of 3 runs rules respectively. A Markov chain approach is employed in order to calculate the in-control and out-of-control average run lengths(ARL). Two different control limit coefficients for the Shewhart scheme and the runs rule scheme are derived simultaneously to minimize the out-of-control average run length subject to the reasonable in-control average run length. Numerical examples show that the statistical performance of the hybrid control scheme are superior to that of the original Shewhart control chart.

Recently, the control chart is developed for monitoring processes with normal short production runs by the coefficient of variation(CV) characteristic for a normal distribution. This control chart does not work well in non-normal short production runs. And most of industrial processes are known to follow the non-normal distribution. Therefore, the control chart is required to be developed for monitoring the processes with non-normal short production runs by the CV characteristics for a non-normal distribution. In this paper, we suggest the control chart for monitoring the processes with a gamma short runs by the CV characteristics for a gamma distribution. This control chart is denoted by the gamma CV control chart. Futhermore evaluated the performance of the gamma CV control chart by average run length(ARL).

This study is to examine the cleaningproof by dry cleaning runs and parts(shoulder, belly, butt) of garment leathers tanned chrome. This study is composed of three methods of test; color difference test, surface view by scanning electron micrographs, mechanical properties measurement by KES-FB system. The results obtained were as follows: 1. In stiffening of parts of sample, the belly is the best degree in smoothness, fullness, softness. But that of the butt have been found to be the worst degree and to be thick. 2. In fading of parts, the shoulder is an extreme case, but the belly is the best among three parts. 3. In dry cleaning runs, the view after 3 runs has been found to be the best result. 4. The stiffening after dry cleaning 1 run have been low grade, for the sample absorb much solvent of dry cleaning. And, the fading and the decoloration are to be worse after 5 runs. Because the leather surface is affected by dry cleaning runs.
