Short root anomaly (SRA) is very rare, but can be problematic for physicians because patients with SRA are more vulnerable to root resorption with orthodontic forces. During the mixed dentition period, it may be difficult to diagnose generalized SRA. This article reports the treatment of an orthodontic patient with SRA at the early mixed dentition stage. Despite local tooth loss, a relatively favorable outcome was obtained without excessive root resorption. Ultimately, orthodontic therapy is possible for patients with generalized SRA, but precautions should be taken to avoid complications, such as tooth loss or root resorption.

Short root anomaly (SRA) is a rare dental condition with abnormally short and blunt root morphology. It mostly affects maxillary central incisors symmetrically and only has been observed in permanent teeth. A 9-year-old girl was referred from a local dental clinic for short root development in mixed dentition with no symptoms. Radiographic and intraoral examinations revealed SRA on upper and lower incisors and mandibular first molars along with other dental anomalies such as enamel hypoplasia and dens invaginatus. During long - term follow - up for 5 years, her mixed dentition has changed to permanent dentition and generalized SRA was observed in all permanent teeth. Cephalometric radiograph also revealed the calcification between the anterior and posterior clinoid processes described as a sella turcica bridge which was reported associating with dental anomalies. Early diagnosis of SRA is emphasized for successful management and prevention of root resorption and tooth loss. This report aimed to present a rare case of generalized SRA along with other dental anomalies and sella turcica bridging in a female patient through long - term follow - up.

Molar-incisor malformation (MIM) is a new type of root anomaly reported recently. The characteristics of MIM are dysplastic root formations, constriction of pulp chambers and presence of calcified matrices at the level of cementoenamel junction in permanent first molars and primary second molars. In some cases, permanent maxillary incisors are also affected. The permanent first molars of the patient in this case report were affected with MIM. Generalized pulp stones were observed in overall primary dentition. Micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) imaging and scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer analysis were performed on the extracted mandibular first molar and maxillary primary second molar of the patient. Micro-CT images revealed the discontinuity of enamel directly connected to an accessory canal of the root.

Program Behavior Intrusion Detection Technique analyses system calls that called by daemon program or root authority, constructs profiles. and detectes anomaly intrusions effectively. Anomaly detections using system calls are detected only anomaly processes. But this has a Problem that doesn't detect affected various Part by anomaly processes. To improve this problem, the relation among system calls of processes is represented by bayesian probability values. Application behavior profiling by Bayesian Network supports anomaly intrusion informations . This paper overcomes the Problems of various intrusion detection models we Propose effective intrusion detection technique using Bayesian Networks. we have profiled concisely normal behaviors using behavior context. And this method be able to detect new intrusions or modificated intrusions we had simulation by proposed normal behavior profiling technique using UNM data.

The diffuse form of supravalvar aortic stenosis represents a surgical challenge when the ascending aorta, aortic arch, proximal descending thoracic aorta and arch arteries are involved. It can be treated by a variety of surgical approaches. We report a case of severe diffuse supravalvar aortic stenosis combined with an aortic valve anomaly and occlusion of the right coronary artery ostium in a 14-year-old boy with Williams syndrome. We enlarged the aortic root(Nick's procedure), ascending aorta, aortic arch, proximal descending thoracic aorta, and innominate artery with patches and replaced aortic valve with 19 mm St. Jude valve. Deep hypothermic circulatory arrest and retrograde cerebral perfusion were used during repair of the arch and arch artery.

In enterprise software projects, performance issues have become more critical during recent decades. While developing software products, many performance tests are executed in the earlier development phase against the newly added code pieces to detect possible performance regressions. In our previous research, we introduced the framework to enable automated performance anomaly detection and reduce the analysis overhead for identifying the root causes, and showed Statistical Process Control (SPC) can be successfully applied to anomaly detection. In this paper, we explain the special performance trend in which the existing anomaly detection system can hardly detect the noticeable performance change especially when a performance regression is introduced and recovered again a while later. Within the fixed number of sampling period, the fluctuation gets aggravated and the lower and upper control limit get relaxed so that sometimes the existing system hardly detect the noticeable performance change. To resolve the issue, we apply dynamically tuned sampling window size based on the performance trend, and Fuzzy theory to find an appropriate size of the moving window.

The Noah 3.3 Land Surface Model (LSM) was used to estimate the global soil moisture in this study and these soil moisture datasets were assessed against satellite-based and reanalysis soil moisture products. The Noah 3.3 LSM simulated soil moistures in four soil layers and root-zone soil moistures defined as a depth-weighted average in the first three soil layers (i.e., up to 1.0 m deep). The Noah LSM soil moisture products were then compared with a satellite-based soil moisture dataset (European Space Agency Climate Change Initiatives (ESA CCI) SM v04.4) and reanalysis soil moisture datasets (ERA-interim). In addition, the five major basins (Yangtze, Mekong, Mississippi, Murray-Darling, Amazon) were selected for the assesment with the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE)-based Total Water Storage Anomaly (TWSA) and TWS Change (TWSC). The results revealed that high anomaly correlations were found in most of the Asia-Pacific regions including East Asia, South Asia, Australia, and Noth and South America. While the anomaly correlations in the Murray-Darling basin were somewhat low, relatively higher anomaly correlations in the other basins were found. It is concluded that this study can be useful for the development of soil moisture based drought indices and subsequently can be helpful to reduce damages from drought by timely providing an efficacious strategy.
Double tooth is a dental anomaly consequent to fusion of two or more teeth or gemination of a single tooth. This report describes a unique case of double tooth in relation to a mandibular lateral incisor exhibiting the presence of four root canals. The role of conventional radiography and advanced three-dimensional imaging techniques in the better assessment of complex root canal systems and their aid in endodontic management has also been highlighted.

Molar-incisor malformation (MIM) is a recently described dental anomaly characterized by root malformation in permanent first molars accompanied sometimes by abnormal root forms in primary second molars or enamel defects in maxillary central incisors. This report presents three cases of MIM along with a review of previous studies. Three patients exhibited abnormal root forms in the permanent first molars, with varying degrees of deformation. Two of the patients experienced medical events at birth. One of the patients was a monozygotic twin, whose twin sister exhibited normal dentition without any significant abnormalities. The present report also reviews recently reported cases of MIM in literature. In the management of MIM-associated clinical issues, consideration of microscopic features and accompanying characteristics might facilitate early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment planning.
