In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in recent agricultural energy and increase the energy self-sufficiency rate of each farmer, it is extremely important to expand the supply of solar energy using unused space of agricultural facilities, roof. This study surveyed and analyzed the environmental and administrative factors such as problems according to the structure, azimuth and latitude of broiler houses and stability of standard broiler houses required to use broiler house roof based on the poultry houses in Sangju-si. The results can be summarized as follows: 55.6% of the solar energy facilities of according to the classification of arable lands of broiler houses were available, and 31.7% of them were available by classifying according to the azimuth. However, 20.6% of them were available in the survey considering all the arable land and azimuth. In the roof inclination of the broiler houses, from 20 to $25^{\circ}$ was the most common, 30 broiler houses. The broiler houses with the roof inclination more than $20^{\circ}$ accounted for 63% of the total. It was considered that the inclination was generally proper. In the structural safety, only 3 broiler houses that were constructed as a standard broiler house were available. In practice, all but one broiler house was inappropriate to expand the solar energy project using roof. The solar thermal facility weighed $63.6kg/m^2$ in total: the frame and solar thermal collector weighed $27.8kg/m^2$ and $35.8kg/m^2$, respectively. The standard broiler house required to be internally reinforced. This study suggested a plan for internal reinforcement and a feasible plan because there were problems with structural safety when installing solar thermal and photovoltaic systems.

The aim of this study was to classify the central Buddhist temple among the state-designated cultural assets, which were measured precisely, into the gable roof buildings and the gambrel roof buildings to analyze the Ang-Goak, Inside waist, ridge ratio, and roof inclination represented on the roof, and prepare basic objective material for the restoration and repair of cultural assets. As a result, as for the relationship between the roof curve and the inclination of the gable roof building and gambrel roof building, the following conclusions could be drawn. First, the Ang-Goak and Inside waist of the gable roof building had a close correlation with the building size, and the internal high pillar existence. In addition, the Ang-Goak and Inside waist were shown in the 7-ryangga structure, which is greater in size than in the 5-ryangga structure. This was found to be related to the building size. Second, the Ang-Goak and Inside waist of the gable roof building has a correlation with each other, and it was found that Inside waist also was large in the building with a larger Ang-Goak. The roof inclination rarely had a connection with variable factors (plane factor, elevation factor, and cross section factor). The sizes of Ang-Goak, Inside waist, and ridge ratio were similar in the outside 1 chulmok and outside 2 chulmok of gongpo but those sizes were relatively larger in outside 3 chulmok. Third, the Ang-Goak and Inside waist of the gambrel roof building moved independently for each building without a correlation with each other, unlike the case of the gable roof building. The front and the side showed a correlation with each other, and in the building with the large curve of the front side, the curve was also large in the sides. Fourth, in the case of the building with a high pillar inside the gambrel roof building, the Ang-Goak and Inside waist were larger. On the other hand, they were smaller in the case of a building without a high pillar. This was found to have a close relationship with the building size. In addition, the ridge ratio has a close connection with the building size and building height. Therefore, the ridge ratio is larger in a high building or large sized building. The roof inclination rarely has a correlation with variable factors, as in the case of the gable roof building.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyse and evaluate the morphology of the articular eminence of temporomandibular joint in young Korean adults using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methods: One hundred seventy-one subjects (59 males, 112 females) in the 20s were examined using CBCT. Width and height of articular eminence, top-roof line angle, best-fit line angle, joint space were measured. For the group comparisons, independent t-test was used with the level of significance established at $p{\leq}0.05$. Results: In asymptomatic young Korean adults, average eminence width was $9.49{\pm}1.62mm$ in males and $9.33{\pm}1.36mm$ in females. Average eminence height was $7.23{\pm}1.81mm$ in males and $6.82{\pm}1.31mm$ in females. Average eminence inclination of measured by top-roof line angle was $37.09^{\circ}{\pm}7.74^{\circ}$ in males and $36.12^{\circ}{\pm}5.65^{\circ}$ in females. Average eminence inclination measured by best-fit line angle was $50.79^{\circ}{\pm}11.49^{\circ}$ in males and $48.43^{\circ}{\pm}9.05^{\circ}$ in females. Average joint space was $3.03{\pm}0.67mm$ in males and $2.63{\pm}0.68mm$ in females. Conclusions: Increasing age did not affect the morphology of the articular eminence in asymptomatic young Korean adults. Males had slightly larger eminence width, height, top-roof line angle, best-fit line angle and joint space, but no statistical significance (p>0.05) was observed only in the joint space (p=0.001). There was no side-to-side difference in morphology (p>0.05).
In this study an optimization of greenhouse roof shape was performed to maximize solar light transmission which is one of the most important elements in greenhouse environment. To determine roof shape that maximize the total light transmissivity, a computer model for analysing light transmissivity was composed and the Genetic Algorithms was applied for solving optimization problems. By setting composite model as objective function(fitness function), the optimum combination of design variables(roof inclination angle, width ratio) was searched using Genetic Algorithms. The optimum combination of input variables for the maximum light transmissivity at Suwon in winter was found 40 degree root angle , 0.5 width ratio, for two span greenhouses and 37 $_。 / roof angle, 0.7 width ratio, for single span greenhouses.es.

This thesis is based on the research and experiment of the optimal efficiency generation of electric power. The research and experiment were conducted to search the optimal generation of electric power from a specific amount of solar energy from Photovoltaic Power System with a solar position tracker were used. The changes in the array angles and spacing of the PV Module were also taken into account as well. Here are the findings and the conclusions. First of all, based on experiment using the various anglers, the efficiency generation of electric power increased to a maximum of approximately $12{\sim}17$[%] more at the PV module inclination angle of 30[$^{\circ}$] than at the inclination angles of 20[$^{\circ}$] and 40[$^{\circ}$]. As a result, we have found that installing the PV module inclination at the angle of 30[$^{\circ}$] brought about the most efficient conversion effect of the Photovoltaic Power System. But, when the solar cell is installed on a roof or rooftop where snow builds up, it is the most appropriate to install the solar energy at an 35[$^{\circ}$] angle so that snow slides down and not build up on the module.
The present study approached the characteristics of various space compositions in contemporary residential architecture through the concept of ex-formality, and found that ex-formal spaces are composed through the variation of floor, wall, ceiling or roof and derived four types of ex-formal space composition - ex-cubic space composition using folding, plastic space composition using the plasticity of concrete, atypical space composition using geometric manipulation, and non linear space composition using digital technology. Based on this, additionally, we derived elements expressing the characteristics of ex-formal space composition, which are obliqueness, inclination, flexibility in ex-cubic space composition using folding, plasticity and fluidity in plastic space composition using the plasticity of concrete, ex-construction, dynamism and asymmetry in atypical space composition using geometric manipulation, and flexibility, fluidity, self similarity and plasticity in non linear space composition using digital technology. On the other hand, this study purposed to help understand various space expression patterns of contemporary residential architecture by analyzing how these types of ex-formal space composition and polysemous expression characteristics have been represented in contemporary residential architecture since the 1990s.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of heavy and frequent snowfall events on folk houses by selecting those where there are known as heavy or frequent snowfall regions over Korea as cases Youngdong regions is selected as a heavy snowfall region and Bogheung as a frequent snowfall region by analyzing the weather data. Also, actual observation data from the field survey, collected date from interview and some related documents have been analyzed. The folk houses where they locate in heavy or frequent snowfall regions have a concentrated type and a broad kitchen. The kitchen often occupies up about 30∼40% of the whole house and lot. The folk houses used for case studies have some facilities to protect them from heavy or frequent snowfalls. Teuruck in Youngdong regions and Kadaegi in Bogheung are good examples of those facilities. Also, the steeply slanting roofs are common in the heavy or frequent snowfall regions to keep snow from being piled up on them.

Due to the dense and complicated working environment, the construction industry is susceptible to many accidents. Worker's fall is a severe problem at the construction site, including falling into holes or openings because of the inadequate coverings as per the safety rules. During the construction or demolition of a building, openings and holes are formed in the floors and roofs. Many workers neglect to cover openings for ease of work while being aware of the risks of holes, openings, and gaps at heights. However, there are safety rules for worker safety; the holes and openings must be covered to prevent falls. The safety inspector typically examines it by visiting the construction site, which is time-consuming and requires safety manager efforts. Therefore, this study presented a worker-driven approach (the worker is involved in the reporting process) to facilitate safety managers by developing integrated computer vision and inertia sensors-based mobile applications to identify openings. The TensorFlow framework is used to design Convolutional Neural Network (CNN); the designed CNN is trained on a custom dataset for binary class openings and covered and deployed on an android smartphone. When an application captures an image, the device also extracts the accelerometer values to determine the inclination in parallel with the classification task of the device to predict the final output as floor (openings/ covered), wall (openings/covered), and roof (openings / covered). The proposed worker-driven approach will be extended with other case scenarios at the construction site.
This study examines the state of archeological research on Silla and Unified Silla conducted in North Korea and identifies its characteristics. In South Korea, most research has focused on prehistoric times in North Korea, and little research has been done on Silla and Unified Silla. Noting this, we attempted to examine the history of archaeological research in North Korea to provide foundations upon which to go forward. The research was examined in terms of general archaeological themes including tombs, fortresses, the capital city, earthenware, roof tiles, ornaments, weapons, and horse harnesses, and we identified four characteristics from the examination. First, Juche ideology had a great influence on interpretation of the unification of the three kingdoms. The Juche ideology was first proposed in 1955, and at the time, it was not fully established as an ideology but rather seen as constituting opposition to toadyism. Accordingly, the unification of the three kingdoms led by Silla was seen as amounting to collusion with foreign forces and was not acknowledged. A piece of evidence shows that this change took place around 1962. Second, an inclination to testify to the 'uniqueness' of the cultures of the three kingdoms is observed. The argument is that culture in the Korean peninsula has unique characteristics that set it apart from Chinese culture, and that the cultures of the three kingdoms share much in common. This inclination was not mentioned in research until the 1950s, and it can be seen as an effort to comply with Juche ideology and prove the principle of unity as stated in the national leader's instructions in the 1960s. Third, the influence of Goguryeo on the formation of Silla culture is emphasized. Related research explains that Baekje, Silla, and Gaya adopted the 'superior' culture of Goguryeo, and could establish 'uniqueness' of culture accordingly. It is claimed that an advanced Goguryeo culture was disseminated throughout Balhae and Unified Silla, and then to Goryeo, resulting in a true unification of the ethnic culture. Fourth, researchers in North Korea presume the Silla tombs and other relics to be far older than South Korean researchers' estimate. From a standpoint of highlighting the long history of Korea, they estimate the Silla Dynasty was founded in the early or mid-first century. Accordingly, archeological evidence that demonstrates the establishment of the state is dated as far back. Such an estimate is also indispensable in justifying the explanation that the chamber tombs of Goguryeo had a direct influence on Silla. These research characteristics which arose during the 1960s continue to be basic guidelines for North Korean researchers.
