  • In this study, the prediction method was reviewed to process a cylindrical plate forming using machine learning as a data-driven approach by roll bending equipment. The calculation of the forming variables was based on the analysis using the mechanical relationship between the material properties and the roll bending machine in the bending process. Then, by applying the finite element analysis method, the accuracy of the deformation prediction model was reviewed, and a large number data set was created to apply to machine learning using the finite element analysis model for deformation prediction. As a result of the application of the machine learning model, it was confirmed that the calculation is slightly higher than the linear regression method. Applicable results were confirmed through the machine learning method.

  • We report on the design of a three-axis missile autopilot using multi-objective control synthesis via linear matrix inequality techniques. This autopilot design guarantees $H_2/H_{\infty}$ performance criteria for a set of finite linear models. These models are linearized at different aerodynamic roll angle conditions over the flight envelope to capture uncertainties that occur in the high-angle-of-attack regime. Simulation results are presented for different aerodynamic roll angle variations and show that the performance of the controller is very satisfactory.

  • Strip profile and shape control is one of the most important technologies in cold mill, especially for ultra-thin and wide cold strip. The 6-high mills, both of HCMW and UCMW mill, are known to be very effective for the shape controllability. The optimized values of these factors for set-up scheduling were analyzed and found that excellent strip control would be possible by controlling the combination of the influencing factors according to hot coil profile. The important considerations for operation were discussed for individual stand.

  • This paper proposes a new speed and tension control algorithm for multi-span continuous strip processing line. In this algorithm the speed reference of each roll is adjusted to make the output force follow the load balance reference using an outer loop controller in cascade. Using the information of the output force of the adjacent roll, it is shown that the strip tension between two rolls can be controlled as the desired value without tension sensor. An experimental set-up which consists of 4 driven and 3 measuring rolls is designed and built for the multi-span speed and tension control. The experimental result reveals conspicuous improvement of tension control performance by the proposed algorithm comparing to the conventional tension feedback controller.

강판 절단 생산에서의 CSP (A Cutting Stock Problem in the Sheet Steel Cutting Production)

  • The aim of this paper is to suggest the cutting stock problems which are two-dimensional in form, but can be treated as the optimization methods for one-dimensional cutting stock problem by exploiting the length requirement of the products. The solution method consists of two stages. The first calculates the number of roll pieces of each size. Next, 1-dimensional cutting stock model is set up. One heuristic method to calculate the number of each roll is suggested. The trim loss minization criteria are used to design the objective function. This model can be solved by the conventional cutting stock procedures based on enumerating the possible cutting patterns.

항공기 보조연료탱크 연료량측정시스템 개발 (Development of Fuel Quantity Measurement System for Aircraft Supplementary Fuel Tank)

  • 본 논문에서는 항공기 자세 변화를 고려한 항공기 보조연료탱크 연료량측정시스템을 제시하였다. 개발된 연료량측정시스템은 연료센서, 데이터 처리장치, 계기 및 센서 데이터로부터 연료량을 추정하는 소프트웨어로 구성되었다. 지상에서의 롤 및 피치 자세 변화를 모사하기 위해 모사시험 장치가 개발되었다. 모사시험장치를 이용하여 다양한 연료량, 롤 및 피치 각도의 센서 데이터를 자동으로 측정하여 트레이닝 데이터 세트를 획득하였다. 연료량을 추정하는 연료량 측정 소프트웨어를 트레이닝 데이터 세트와 함께 삼선형보간법을 사용하여 개발하였다. 개발된 연료량측정시스템은 참값을 알고 있는 테스트 데이터 세트의 연료 추정 오차를 측정하여 검증하였다. 테스트를 통해 개발된 연료량측정시스템의 오차가 TSO-C55 문서의 기준을 충족하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 인터넷 환경과 디지털자원의 활용환경이 빠르게 변화됨에 따라 탐색과 브라우징을 제공해주는 정보시스템의 인터페이스 또한 새롭게 변해가고 있다. 특히 최근에 검색 인터페이스에서 많이 사용되고 있는 긴 리스트의 메뉴항목을 이용자가 보다 쉽게 브라우징하고 선택할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 시각화기법을 이용하여 디스플레이하고 있다. 본 연구는 이용자와 데이터 특성에 맞는 긴 메뉴항목 시각화 기법을 제안하기 위하여 긴 리스트의 메뉴항목을 시각화하기 위하여 많이 사용되고 있는 기법 즉 트리구조 메뉴, 목차방식 메뉴, 롤-오버방식 메뉴, 클릭방식 메뉴, 어안렌즈 방식 메뉴를 비교하였다. 그 결과 계층구조 메뉴 중에서는 전문가는 목차방식 메뉴를, 초보자는 트리구조 메뉴를 선호하고, 또 순차적 구조 메뉴 중에서는 전문가와 초보자 모두 롤오버방식 메뉴를 선호하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • A set of approaches suggested to control the eccentricity is discussed in this paper. Among these, filter-integrator method is used to design the controller, which also includes the input signal synchronization, stabilizing filter and eccentricity source discrimination. Using the S/W that is coded for real time application of that controller, we simulated the operations of that one. The simulation results show the characteristics of eccentricity compensation and eccentricity discrimination. However, from these results, we can see that only proper stabilization strategy certificates the safe eccentricity control.

  • Gravure off-set printing recently is used in electronics display market. This method has advantages of mass production and high printing speed. It is also fine pattern can be implemented. We have manufactured low-curable conductive Ag pastes for gravure off-set printing. When printing, the pastes be used different silver powder shape because of the printing characteristics. The pastes were prepared with silver powder by silver powder shape and size, epoxy resin, solvent and homogenized on a standard three-roll mill. And the pastes exhibited a shear-thinning flow at viscosity profile. Moreover the adhesive strength and resistivity of silver film had a good characteristics. With the manufactured paste in this study, touch panel had is manufactured and it had $4{\times}10-5{\Omega}.cm$.

  • The tension levelling Process is Performed to elongate the strip plastically In combination of tensile and bending strain so that all longitudinal fibers In the strip have an approximately equal amount ofn length and undesirable strip shapes are corrected to the flat shape. Thus paper is concerned with a simulation of the tension levelling process based on the analysis of tile unit model for the tension leveller. Analysis technique such as the sequential analysis of the unit model is suggested and verified with the assembly analysis of the unit model for the effective arts economic analysis of the full set of the tension leveller. Analysis of the full tension levelling Process using sequential unit models Is carried out for steel strips with the shape defect and provides the effect of the intermesh and optimum amount of the intermesh in tension levelling process.
