정밀발파의 표준화(下) (Standardization of Cautious blasting)

Meta-heuristic optimization algorithms for prediction of fly-rock in the blasting operation of open-pit mines

  • In this study, a Gaussian process regression (GPR) model as well as six GPR-based metaheuristic optimization models, including GPR-PSO, GPR-GWO, GPR-MVO, GPR-MFO, GPR-SCA, and GPR-SSO, were developed to predict fly-rock distance in the blasting operation of open pit mines. These models included GPR-SCA, GPR-SSO, GPR-MVO, and GPR. In the models that were obtained from the Soungun copper mine in Iran, a total of 300 datasets were used. These datasets included six input parameters and one output parameter (fly-rock). In order to conduct the assessment of the prediction outcomes, many statistical evaluation indices were used. In the end, it was determined that the performance prediction of the ML models to predict the fly-rock from high to low is GPR-PSO, GPR-GWO, GPR-MVO, GPR-MFO, GPR-SCA, GPR-SSO, and GPR with ranking scores of 66, 60, 54, 46, 43, 38, and 30 (for 5-fold method), respectively. These scores correspond in conclusion, the GPR-PSO model generated the most accurate findings, hence it was suggested that this model be used to forecast the fly-rock. In addition, the mutual information test, also known as MIT, was used in order to investigate the influence that each input parameter had on the fly-rock. In the end, it was determined that the stemming (T) parameter was the most effective of all the parameters on the fly-rock.

국내원유비축지하공동의 조사 및 설계 (Investigation and Design of Underground Cavern for Oil Storage in Korea)

  • This study Is to summarize the contents for the investigation and design of the construction for oil storage. Since underground caverns are large scale, in their construction one should consider the mechanical stability of cave·rns and the economic view of construction. On the basis of them, cavern's section and layout were determined and water curtains were designed to maintain hydraulic equilibrium so that gases were sealed tightly. Also the supporting criteria for rock bolt and stotcrete were determined by means of the classification of rock masses and the results of finite element method. The criteria of grouting reinforcement were presented according to the results of injection test in the pilot holes of working face.

  • An underground research facility (KURF) is under construction at KAERI for the in situ studies related to the validation of a HLW disposal system. For the safe construction and long-term researches at KURF, mechanical stability of the facility should be evaluated. In this study, 3D mechanical stability analysis using the rock mass properties determined from various in situ as well as laboratory tests was carried out. From the analysis, it was possible to predict the rock deformation, stress concentration, and plastic zone developed before and after the excavation. A test blasting was performed to characterize the site dependent dynamic response, which can be used for the prediction of the blasting impact on the facilities in KAERI.

구조물 및 시설물 인접 구릉지의 암반굴착 발파설계 (Blast Design of Hilly Rock Excavation Adjacent to Structures and Facilities)

  • This paper concerns the design of blasts adjacent to structures and facilities. In order to investigate the site characteristics, measurements of in-situ wave propagation and laboratory tests of rock cores taken from the boreholes were carried out. Effects of rock media and delay intervals on ground vibration levels were identified from over sixty measurements of three times of test blasts. For practical use in the field, an empirical propagation equation was derived so as to reflect the characteristics of rock media and delay effects. Safe limits of vibration level for structures were conservatively established based on various suggested criteria. Safe limits for facilities were adopted so that vibration levels induced by blasting should not exceed the allowable limits specified in the manufacturer's installation condition. Suggested were blast pattern and operation to enhance the rock fracturing and to reduce the ground vibration levels under the restricted conditions.

  • 지하공간의 개발 또는 활용기술에 대한 수요가 전 세계적으로 급증함에 따라, 역학적 안정성과 활용 효율의 측면에서 발파굴착 시 발생하는 손상대 평가는 주요 관심사가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 PFC3D와 ANSYS LS-DYNA를 이용하여 판재시료를 대상으로 발파 예정선 주위의 소규모 모형발파에 대한 수치해석을 수행하였다. 또한, 해석 결과의 검증을 위하여 소규모 판재모형을 제작하여 발파실험을 수행하고 균열 전파양상을 비교 고찰하였다.

  • Since blast-induced vibration may cause serious problem to the rock mass as well as the nearby structures, the prediction of blast-induced vibration and the stability evaluation must be performed before blasting activities. Dynamic analysis has been Increased recently in order to analyze the effect of the blast-induced vibration. Most of the previous studies, however, were based on the continuum analysis unable to consider rock joints which significantly affect the wave propagation and attenuation characteristics. They also adopted pressure curves estimated by theoretical or empirical equations as input detonation load, thus there were very difficult to reflect the characteristics of propagating media. In this study, therefore, we suggested a discontinuum dynamic analysis technique which uses velocity waveform obtained from a test blast as an input detonation load. A distinct element program, UDEC was used to consider the effect of rock joints. In order to verify the validity of proposed method, the test blast was simulated. The predicted results from the proposed method showed a good agreement with the measured vibration data from the test blast Through the dynamic numerical modelling on the planned road tunnel and slope, we evaluated the effect of blast-induced vibration and the stability of rock slope.

  • 최근 제주도 개발을 위한 많은 토목공사가 실시되고 있다. 하지만 화산활동 과정에서 생성된 클링커층과 다공질 현무암이 불규칙하게 분포된 제주도 암반은 그 구조적 특성으로 인해 발파효율이 매우 낮아 공사에 큰 지장을 주고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 3지역에서 실시된 시험발파결과를 분석한 결과 효과적인 발파를 위한 비장약량은 0.40~0.45 $kg/m^3$이 되어야 할 것으로 판단할 수 있었다. 또한 굴착심도 내에 클링커층의 존재유무로 나누어 발파설계를 해야 할 것으로 판단되었다.

AI 기반의 발파진동 계수 예측 및 보정계수 산정에 관한 연구 (Prediction and Determination of Correction Coefficients for Blast Vibration Based on AI)

  • 발파공법을 이용한 터널 건설 시 발생하는 진동을 최소화할 수 있는 폭약량의 결정을 위해서는 현장에서 시험발파, 혹은 유사조건에서의 진동기록을 분석하여 발파진동계수 K, n을 도출해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 시험발파를 수행하지 못할 경우, 합리적인 K 및 n을 도출할 수 있는 기법의 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 실규모 시험발파 자료를 수집한 후, 심층학습(DL)을 활용하여 화약류의 종류, 심발공법, 암반의 성인 및 종류, 암반등급에 따라 발파진동계수(K, n)를 예측할 수 있는 방법을 연구하였다. 또한 시추공 시험발파 결과의 한계성을 보완하고, 현실에 좀 더 부합하는 설계 수행을 목적으로 실규모 및 시추공 시험발파 결과 간의 보정값을 산정하였다. 본 연구결과 시추공 시험발파 결과식에 따른 사용 가능한 폭약량을 비교하였을 경우, 심층학습(DL)에 의한 결과는 50%이상, 보정값을 반영한 결과는 기타 발파진동 추정식과 유사하거나 약 20% 더 사용할 수 있어서 보다 경제적 설계가 가능하였다.

건공화 공법의 발파 성능 평가를 위한 현장 시험에 관한 연구 (A Study of a Pilot Test for a Blasting Performance Evaluation Using a Dry Hole Charged with ANFO)

  • 암반층이 얕은 깊이에서 출현하는 국내 지층 조건과 지하 공간의 활용도 증가로 인해서, 발파에 의한 굴착은 여전히 이용되고 있다. 발파 천공 이후에 존재하는 물이 있는 조건에서 실시되는 표준 발파는 폭굉압력 감소, 일정 장약량 사용, 디커플링과 같은 기술적인 어려움이 있다. 하지만, 기존의 표준 발파 공법을 대체할 만한 공법이 없는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 건공화 펌프 시스템을 이용하여, 천공 내부에 존재하는 물을 제거하는 건공화 ANFO (Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil) 발파와 발파 성능의 비교를 위해서 추가적으로 표준 발파를 수행하였다. 각각의 발파 공법에서 계측된 진동 속도 데이터들과 환산거리의 함수로 이루어진 경험적인 발파진동 추정식을 이용하여, 최소제곱법에 의한 선형회귀분석을 실시하고, 궁극적으로 발파 성능을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 건공화 ANFO 발파에서 진동 감쇠가 더 크게 발생하고, 암반 파쇄에 더 많은 에너지를 소비하여, 더 가까운 거리에서 진동 허용 기준을 만족하는 진동 속도를 보였다. 또한, 표준 발파의 발파 진동 영향권이 건공화 ANFO 발파보다 더 멀리 있고, 발파 패턴의 범위가 더 넓은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 수행된 현장 발파 실험 결과로부터, 건공화 ANFO 발파 공법의 발파 성능이 효율적임을 확인하였다.
