도로다이어트를 위한 차로폭 설계 기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on Lane Width Design for Road Diets)

  • 급격한 도시화는 교통지체를 포함하여 다양한 교통문제를 유발하였다. 따라서 도로건설, 교통소통 위주의 정책을 통해 교통지체 문제를 해결하기 위해 노력하였다. 그러나 차량중심의 교통소통 정책의 한계를 인식하고 최근에는 인간중심의 녹색교통 정책으로 전환 되고 있다. 도로다이어트는 이러한 녹색교통의 하나로 추진되고 있는 개념이다. 도로다이어트는 차로수, 차로폭 등을 줄여서 확보된 공간에 자전거도로, 보행자를 위한 쾌적한 보행로 등 녹색교통을 위한 공간으로 활용하고자 하는 방법이다. 도로다이어트는 최근에 도이된 개념으로 아직 구체적이고 실증적인 연구가 많이 수행되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도로다이어트를 위한 차로폭 축소 방안에 대한 기초적이고 실증적인 연구를 수행하였다. 현장조사를 통해 차로를 주행하는 차량의 차로중심선에서 이격량을 분석하여 차량이 주행시에 필요로 하는 최소한의 차로폭을 분석하였다. 분석결과 소형차의 경우 조사지점별로 2.34~2.70m, 대형차의 경우에는 2.62~2.89m의 차로폭이 필요한 것으로 나타나 도로다이어트 등 설계자의 목적에 따라 차로폭을 다소 축소할 수 있도록 설계기준을 완벽할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구결과는 도로다이어트, 도로공사 등으로 인해 동행이 가능한 도록폭이 축소되었을 때 차로폭 축소를 위한 설계기준으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

도시부 도로에서 주행차량의 횡방향 이격량 분석을 통한 곡선부 차로폭 연구 (A Study on Lane Width of Curved Section by Sway Distance Analysis of Running Vehicle on Urban Roads)

  • 본 연구에서는 도시부도로의 곡선구간에서 주행차량의 횡방향 이격량을 분석하여 차량 주행에 필요한 최소 소요차로폭을 산정하였으며 본 연구결과와 선행연구에서 제시된 직선구간에서의 최소 소요차로폭을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 도로의 선형과 차종에 따라 곡선구간에서의 최소 소요차로폭을 제시하였다. 조사대상 곡선구간 도로의 차로폭은 2.79m~3.40m이다. 주행차량의 횡방향 이격량의 분포 및 조사대상 차량의 85%를 기준으로 누적분포를 분석하였다. 분석결과 곡선구간에서의 최소 소요차로폭이 소형차량의 경우 2.31m~2.58m, 대형차량의 경우 2.80m~3.27m로 산정되었다. 본 연구결과는 녹색교통 도입을 위한 공간, 도로공사 중, 소형차 전용도로의 건설 등에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 설계자의 목적에 따라 유연한 차로폭 설계기준의 적용에 필요한 기초적인 연구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

도로교통안전점검차량을 이용한 도로의 자동도면화 생성 연구 (The Study on an Automated Generation Method of Road Drawings using Road Survey Vehicle)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to develop a automate road mapping system using ARASEO(Automated Road Analysis and Safety Evaluation TOol) for road management. METHODS : The road survey van named ARASEO(Automated Road Analysis and Safety Evaluation TOol) was used to generate highway drawings for Korea National Road number 37 automatically. In order to generate the highway drawings for purpose of road management, it is required to acquired the information for highway alignment, road width and road facilities such as safety barrier and road sign. Therefore the survey van acquired and analyzed the road width, median and guardrail data using rear side laser sensor of ARASEO and recognized the traffic control sign and chevron sign using foreside camera images. Also the highway alignment which is the basic information for highway drawing can be analyzed by acquisition the every 1m positional and attitude data using GPU and IMU sensor and developed algorithm. Finally, in this research the CAD based drawing software was developed to draw highway drawing using the analysis result from ARASEO. RESULTS : This study showed the comparison result of the surveyed road width and drawing data. To make the drawing of the road, we made the Autocad ARX program witch run in CAD menu interface. CONCLUSIONS : Using this program we can create the road center line, every 500m horizontal and vertical ground plan drawing automatically.

교통사고심각도 영향요인 분석에 관한 연구 - 곡선부가 포함된 국도를 중심으로 - (Analysis on Factors Affecting Traffic Accident Severity - Case Study : Arterial Included Curve Section -)

  • The main causes of traffic accidents can be classified by 3 factors - human error, vehicle deficiency and road environmental problem and most accidents occurs not only 1 factor but combination of 2 or 3-factors. Among these factors, road environmental factor is the most important factor due to influence the behavior of cars and road users and road environmental factor affects 30% of total accidents approximately. The 5 years traffic accidents data analyzed to verify the accidents severity on Korea National Highways. In order to analyze the severity, Ordered Probit Model was used. As a independent variables of this model the number of lane, neighbor road environments, sight distance, vertical grade, lane width, shoulder width and traffic volume were used and as a dependent variables the minor injuries, serious injuries and fatalities were used. Research results shows that sight distance and lane width are identified as significant factors for the traffic accident severity and lesser sight distance and lane width shows greater traffic accident severity.

임도설계용(林道設計用) 토량환산표(土量換算表)의 제작(製作) (Construction of Exchange Table of Earth Quantity for Forest Road Plan)

  • 산악지(山岳地) 임도설계(林道設計)의 시간(時間)과 인력(人力)을 절약하는 방법의 일환으로 토량(土量)을 간편하게 산출(産出)하는 방법(方法)을 강구하였다. 이 방법(方法)을 적용하는 이론적(理論的) 배경(背景)으로 0선측량법(線測量法)의 도입(導入)과 2/3 절토노폭개념(切土路幅槪念) 및 절토량(切土量) = 성토량(盛土量) 개념도입(槪念導入)의 타당성을 제시하고 이와같은 원리(原理)들을 산악지림도시공(山岳地林道施工)에 적용한다는 전제하에 삼각함수법을 적용하여 토량환산표(土量換算表)를 표(表) 3과 4와 같이 제작하였다. 표(表) 3은 노폭(路幅)을 0.5m 괄약으로 구분(區分)하여 시공지 경사도별로 절토량(切土量)을 추정(推定)한 것이고, 표(表) 4는 현지(現地)에서 절토폭(切土幅)을 측정하여 절토량(切土量)을 산출(算出)하는데 적용하는 환산계수표(換算係數表)이다. 동표(同表) 등을 적용하면 토량계산(土量計算)을 위한 현지측량(現地測量)과 내업시간(內業時間)은 단축시킬 수 있을 것이다.

국도상 교통사고 심각도에 영향을 미치는 횡단구성 요소 분석 (Analysis of Road Cross Section Component Affecting Traffic Accident Severity on National Highway)

  • According to traffic accidents statistics, the number of fatalities, injuries and the rate of increase of traffic accidents have been decreasing over last 5-years. The fatality rate is 1.9 for total accidents but the fatality rate for single vehicle accidents shows a 7.9, which is 4 times greater than the average for all accidents. Single vehicle accidents, usually occur as a vehicle impacts a fixed objects on the roadside as the vehicle runs-off from the road. However, few researches have been conducted considering the accident severity of single vehicle accidents which impact to the fixed objects on the road. The single vehicle accident is directly related to the composition of road cross section, (since it is the required the minimum width of a road for all run-off-the-road vehicles to recover or come to a safe stop). Therefore, this study analyzes the influence of road cross section on traffic accidents to find out the severity of single vehicle accident. To analyze the road elements which are related to the accident severity, the Ordered Probit Model was used. As variables, the element of road cross section such as the radius(m), vertical curve(%), cross sectional grade(%), road width(m). number of climbing lane, median, and curb, were used (as was the 3-years of accidents data). This study found out that cross slope(%), road width(m), and the number of climbing lane are related to the severity of accident. The result of this study could be expected to improve the road safety and to be used as the base data for further road safety research.

A Clustering Scheme for Discovering Congested Routes on Road Networks

  • On road networks, the clustering of moving objects is important for traffic monitoring and routes recommendation. The existing schemes find out density route by considering the number of vehicles in a road segment. Since they don’t consider the features of each road segment such as width, length, and directions in a road network, the results are not correct in some real road networks. To overcome such problems, we propose a clustering method for congested routes discovering from the trajectories of moving objects on road networks. The proposed scheme can be divided into three steps. First, it divides each road network into segments with different width, length, and directions. Second, the congested road segments are detected through analyzing the trajectories of moving objects on the road network. The saturation degree of each road segment and the average moving speed of vehicles in a road segment are computed to detect the congested road segments. Finally, we compute the final congested routes by using a clustering scheme. The experimental results showed that the proposed scheme can efficiently discover the congested routes in different directions of the roads.

청주 도심 옛마을의 안길과 중심공간의 특성 변화 (Transformation Characteristics of Inner Road and Communal Space in Old Settlements of Downtown Cheong Ju)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the change of inner roads responding to the street system and to examine the how to influence to communal space of village focused on 22 existing old settlements in downtown Cheong Ju. This study examined the types of inner roads based on advanced research. For the research on communal space, interviews with the residents living in the village were conducted to figure out the location and function of it. Also, it was analyzed comparatively with the present communal space. The results are as followings: the width of an inner road has a effect to function of an inner road when flow of an inner road has kept. The function of inner road has been kept when the width of an inner road expanded as pedestrians should be given priority to vehicular traffic. However, the function of inner roads has been changed and the community has been separated when the width of inner roads expanded for vehicular. Because the location of the communal space in the village is affected by the change of the inner road, when the inner road is maintained, the location of the communal space is also maintained, but when the inner road is changed, the location of the communal space is also changed. The communal spaces such as public wells and wash spaces have lost and they have been substituted with senior citizen centers or community centers.

작업로 노면의 피해가능성 평가에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of Surface Damage Possibility on Strip Roads)

  • 본 연구는 숲가꾸기 작업을 위하여 개설된 작업로를 대상으로 노면피해에 영향을 미치는 요인을 평가하여 작업로 노면의 피해예방을 위한 적정 시설기준의 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시하였다. 작업로 노면피해에 영향을 크게 미치는 요인은 시설위치, 종단기울기, 겉보기토질, 산지사면형상, 노폭의 순으로 나타났다. 따라서 종단기울기, 노폭 등 도로 구조적인 요인과 시설위치, 산지사면형상 등 입지적 요인 그리고 겉보기 토질과 같은 도로 구성물질이 노면 피해 발생과 밀접한 연관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 작업로의 피해발생은 계곡부, 종단기울기 24%이상, 마사토 토질, 요형사면, 노폭 3.0 m이상에서 심한 것으로 나타났고, 안정성은 능선부, 종단기울기 4~24%, 토사지역, 직선형(-)사면, 노폭 3.0 m이하에서 큰 것으로 나타났다. 수량화II류의 판별식의 판별적중률은 79.4%로 상당히 양호한 값으로 나타나 작업로 노면의 양부판정에 활용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

캄보디아 시엠립 우회도로건설 사업 소개 (Introduction on the by-pass road construction for Siem Reap, Cambodia)

  • The project of Construction of Siem Reap bypass road in Cambodia consists of alignment improvement of existing route, extension of width of road and laterite paving. This project is carried out by fast-track method on the design and construction for bypass road of 15.2 km length and 8m width for five months. Though some difficulties for the construction works such as the location of borrow pit and rock source, rainy seasons etc, the construction could be completed successfully owing to the cooperation of related authorities, company and residents. This 2 way Angkor detouring road will function as industrial roads in Siemreap region. These new two roads will not only bring better logistics requirements and safety, but also impact to poverty alleviation and preservation the beauty of the ecological environment of Angkor region. The basic information related to geotechnical engineering of this project is introduced.
