Background: Ovarian cancer is the most common gynecological malignancy and constitutes the fifth leading cause of female cancer death. Some biological parameters have prognostic roles in patients with advanced ovarian cancer and their expression may contribute to tumor progression. The aim of this study was to investigate the potential prognostic value of SKP2, genes P27Kip1, K-ras, c-Myc, COX2 and HER2 genes expression in ovarian cancer. Materials and Methods: This study was performed on two hundred formalin fixed paraffin embedded ovarian cancer and normal adjacent tissues (NAT). Gene expression levels were assessed using real time PCR and Western blotting. Results: Elevated expression levels of SKP2, K-ras, c-Myc, HER2 and COX2 genes were observed in 61.5% (123/200), 92.5% (185/200), 74% (148/200), 96 % (192/200), 90% (180/200) and 78.5% (157/200) of cancer tissues, respectively. High expression of SKP2 and down-regulation of P27 was associated with advanced stages of cancer. Conclusions: The association between high expression of c-Myc and SKP2 with low expression of P27 suggested that the Skp2-P27 pathway may play an important role in ovarian carcinogenesis. Reduced expression of P27 is associated with advanced stage of cancer and can be used as a biological marker in clinical routine assessment and management of women with advanced ovarian cancer.

The objective of this paper is to use Geographical Information Systems for identifying Digital Divide in Riyadh Neighborhoods, Saudi Arabia. Geo-database was created that includes Streets, Neighborhoods, ICT Access Data and Coverage Map for Riyadh. We used QGIS and overlay for analysis, intersection selected as tool for this paper. The results indicate that after analyzing the use of information communication technology in all regions of the Kingdom it turns that Riyadh, Ash Sharqiyyah and Makkah in average with percentage 50%, While Al Jawf, Al Madinah, and Najran are the least with percentage 42%. Then we focused on Riyadh to analyze the digital divide because it is the capital of Saudi Arabia and occupations the highest percent of communications towers in the KSA due to population density. Regarding coverage of the 4G, the neighborhoods at the center have recorded very high coverage score. While neighborhoods at the edges of the city have low values of coverage score. Same for 3G, it is more intense in the center and the coverage percentage is higher than 4G. For 2G we found it had the highest coverage compared to 3G or 4G
Toxoplasma 3 main clonal lineages are designated as type I, II, and III; however, atypical and mixed genotypes were also reported. This study was conducted for detection of Toxoplasma gondii genotypes in rats (Rattus rattus) in Riyadh region, Saudi Arabia. PCR test on T. gondii B1 gene was conducted on ELISA IgM positive samples for confirmation of the infection. However, genetic analysis of the SAG2 locus was performed to determine T. gondii genotypes using PCR-RFLP technique. PCR test on T. gondii B1gene showed that 22 (81.5%) out of the 27 ELISA IgM positive samples have T. gondii DNA. Genotypic analysis shows that, of the total 22 PCR positive samples, only 13 (59.1%) were of type II, 7 (31.8%) were of type III, and 2 (9.1%) were of an unknown genotype. It is obvious that the prevalence of both type II and III is high in rats. No reports have been available on T. gondii genotypes among rats in Riyadh region, and only little is known about its seroprevalence in rats. Future studies on T. gondii genotypes in rats using multi-locus markers is needed in Riyadh region, Saudi Arabia for better understanding of T. gondii pathogenesis and treatment in humans and animals.

This study aimed to measure the monetary and non-monetary effects on brand awareness at hypermarkets in Riyadh. The independent variable consists of three sub-variables: price reductions, free samples, and purchasing vouchers. The research population has all Saudi and non-Saudi buyers in Riyadh. The figures show that the population size reached 3.87 million in 2019. The proportional stratification sampling technique and the recommended sample size were 387 buyers. The five-point Likert scale with the fully structured questionnaire was used. The study concldes the effect of free samples on brand awareness while there was no effect of monetary instruments. The results show that the three sales promotion incentives (price reduction, free samples, and purchasing vouchers) moderately affected brand awareness and a key role in explaining consumer behavior, so the significant impact was proved. In summary, this study showed that price reductions have the power of creating the perception of buyers at hypermarkets in Riyadh. Non-cash instruments were more effective than cash instruments in enhancing brand awareness at the hypermarkets in the Saudi market. So, the price reductions and purchasing vouchers have less power in conducting communication-based awareness. Building awareness and improving brand image through free samples were most visible in communication strategy.
A cross sectional analysis for residential water demand was conducted to help understand and explain the spatial and temporal variations in per capita water use in the rapidly growing city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The analysis was based on data previously collected from May 1983 to June 1984. 195 randomly selected households were distributed to three groups according to house condition, household income level, and social and cultural factors. The generated models using stepwise multiple regression indicated that plot size and number of males, females and children are the most significant independent variables. Although, coefficients of determination achieved for most of the developed models were low (0.2-0.5), the independent variables could still explain a part of the variations fur such a complex social and cultural structure.

For the first time in the city of Riyadh, the formation of $O_3$ and its relationship with NO and $NO_2$ ($NO_x$) was investigated. Throughout the summer $O_3$, NO, and $NO_2$ were collected from three locations: residential, industrial, and rural areas. During the sampling period $O_3$ concentrations exceeded 1-hour local standards a few times yet remained consistent with the standards most of the time. The $O_3$ concentrations were observed highest in the rural location and lowest in the industrial area. The diurnal variation of NO followed a double peak: one in the morning and the other in the evening, representing the traffic pattern. Early morning NO peaks were observed in the rural location, which were attributed to the movement of NO from other locations. The $O_3$ concentrations depicted typical pattern, increasing after sunrise and reaching its maximum during midday. The highest $O_3$ concentrations were observed in the rural location followed by the residential and industrial. $NO_2$ photolysis rates were 3-4 times higher compared to other similar investigations, potentially due to intense solar radiation. A strong negative correlation was observed between $NO_x$ and $O_3$ values in the industrial location indicating photochemical activities around the industrial area were higher, likely due to additional $NO_x$ emissions from industries. Regression analysis of $NO_x$ and OX ($O_3+NO_2$) indicated that in residential and industrial locations at nighttime there were large $NO_x$ independent regional contributions which is attributed to VOCs. The Weekend Effect was observed in the city potentially due to the production of the OH radical and subsequent reactions with VOCs implying that the area is VOC-sensitive.
Objectives: This in vitro study aimed to investigate the ability of Candida albicans (C. albicans) and Enterococcus faecalis (E. faecalis) to penetrate dentinal tubules of instrumented and retreated root canal surface of split human teeth. Materials and Methods: Sixty intact extracted human single-rooted teeth were divided into 4 groups, negative control, positive control without canal instrumentation, instrumented, and retreated. Root canals in the instrumented group were enlarged with endodontic instruments, while root canals in the retreated group were enlarged, filled, and then removed the canal filling materials. The teeth were split longitudinally after canal preparation in 3 groups except the negative control group. The teeth were inoculated with both microorganisms separately and in combination. Teeth specimens were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the depth of penetration into the dentinal tubules was assessed using the SMILE view software (JEOL Ltd). Results: Penetration of C. albicans and E. faecalis into the dentinal tubules was observed in all 3 groups, although penetration was partially restricted by dentin debris of tubules in the instrumented group and remnants of canal filling materials in the retreated group. In all 3 groups, E. faecalis penetrated deeper into the dentinal tubules by way of cell division than C. albicans which built colonies and penetrated by means of hyphae. Conclusions: Microorganisms can easily penetrate dentinal tubules of root canals with different appearance based on the microorganism size and status of dentinal tubules.

Objectives: Regenerative endodontic treatment is a clinical procedure aimed at biologically regenerating damaged root canal tissue of immature permanent teeth. This study aimed to report the outcomes of regenerative endodontic treatment performed by endodontic postgraduate students. Materials and Methods: Clinical and radiographic data of 27 patients, aged 10-22 years, who underwent regenerative treatment of immature permanent teeth from 2015 to 2019 were followed up, wherein clinical and radiographic examinations were performed for each patient. Postoperative success rate and tooth survival were analyzed, and the postoperative radiographic root area changes were quantified. Results: A total of 23 patients attended the dental appointments, showing that all teeth survived and were asymptomatic. Specifically, 7 periapical pathosis cases were completely healed, 12 were incompletely healed, and 4 cases failed. Moreover, significant differences were found between discolored and non-discolored teeth, and between the presence or absence of periapical radiolucency. Additionally, 3 anterior teeth showed complete closure of the apical foramen, while the apical foramen width was reduced in 17 teeth and failed in 3 teeth. Root length was also found to have been increased in 7 anterior and 4 posterior teeth, and the average length ranged from 4.00-0.63 mm in the anterior teeth, 2.85-1.48 mm of the mesial root, and 2.73-2.16 mm of the molar teeth distal root. Furthermore, calcified tissue deposition was observed in 7 teeth. Conclusions: A favorable outcome of regenerative endodontic treatment of immature permanent teeth with necrotic pulp was achieved with a high survival rate.
In 2011-2012, sixty nine samples were collected from alfalfa plants showing viral infection symptoms in Riyadh region. Mechanical inoculation with sap prepared from two collected samples out of twenty five possitive for Alfalfa mosaic virus (AMV) by ELISA were produced systemic mosaic on Vigna unguiculata and Nicotiana tabacum, local lesion on Chenopodium amaranticolor and C. quinoa. Vicia faba indicator plants that induce mosaic and mottle with AMV-Sagir isolate and no infection with AMV-Wadi aldawasser isolate. Approximately 700-bp was formed by RT-PCR using AMV coat protein specific primer. Samples from infected alfalfa gave positive results, while healthy plant gave negative result using dot blot hybridization assay. The nucleotide sequences of the Saudi isolates were compared with corresponding viral nucleotide sequences reported in GenBank. The obtained results showed that the AMV from Australia, Brazil, Puglia and China had the highest similarity with AMV-Sajer isolate. While, the AMV from Spain and New Zealaland had the lowest similarity with AMV-Sajer and Wadi aldawasser isolates. The data obtained in this study has been deposited in the GenBank under the accession numbers KC434083 and KC434084 for AMV-Sajer and AMV-Wadialdawasser respectively. This is the first report regarding the gnetic make up of AMV in Saudi Arabia.

The prominence of IoTs (Internet of Things) and exponential advancement of computer networks has resulted in massive essential applications. Recognizing various cyber-attacks or anomalies in networks and establishing effective intrusion recognition systems are becoming increasingly vital to current security. MLTs (Machine Learning Techniques) can be developed for such data-driven intelligent recognition systems. Researchers have employed a TFDNNs (Tensor Flow Deep Neural Networks) and DCNNs (Deep Convolution Neural Networks) to recognize pirated software and malwares efficiently. However, tuning the amount of neurons in multiple layers with activation functions leads to learning error rates, degrading classifier's reliability. HTFDNNs ( Hybrid tensor flow DNNs) and MRNs (Modified Residual Networks) or Resnet CNNs were presented to recognize software piracy and malwares. This study proposes HTFDNNs to identify stolen software starting with plagiarized source codes. This work uses Tokens and weights for filtering noises while focusing on token's for identifying source code thefts. DLTs (Deep learning techniques) are then used to detect plagiarized sources. Data from Google Code Jam is used for finding software piracy. MRNs visualize colour images for identifying harms in networks using IoTs. Malware samples of Maling dataset is used for tests in this work.
