Purpose: The purpose of research is to explore the factors influencing the intention to adopt altcoin investments, based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. Through this, it seeks to elucidate the key factors impacting altcoin investment adoption, and provide a comprehensive understanding of the crypto-currency market and investor behavior. Methods: This study analyzed factors affecting altcoin investment intentions using frequency and descriptive analyses, and verified socio-demographic differences with t-tests and ANOVA. Exploratory factor and correlation analyses were conducted for research tool validity and relationship assessment among variables. Hypotheses were tested through regression analysis, integrating control, independent, and moderating variables, along with interaction terms, to establish the model and examine moderating effects. Results: As a result, it is revealed that higher age and experience in crypto-currency investment are associated with intention to invest. Among the independent variables, performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, and personal innovativeness have positive effects to investment intention to invest, while effort expectancy had a negative effect. The moderating variable, perceived risk, also negatively affected the intention to invest. Notably, significant moderating effects of perceived risk were observed in the relationships between investment intention and both performance expectancy and personal innovativeness. Conclusion: This study provides empirical verification into consumers' intentions to invest in altcoins, offering insights into investors' behavior and decision-making processes based on a practical understanding of altcoin investment acceptance.

Asbestos is a building material that has been actively used because of its excellent durability and heat resistance until 2009, when it was found to be a first-class carcinogen and prohibited in Korea. Currently, asbestos dismantling is an essential process in demolition of old buildings. Workers are likely to be exposed to asbestos in the process of dismantling and removing them, which causes various occupational diseases, suggesting related laws and work standards to ensure the safety of asbestos dismantling process. Accordingly, prior studies have been conducted to analyze the level of asbestos exposure and influencing factors occurring during work, but most of them are mainly concerning health issue while research on process risks considering field characteristics and safety aspects of the work processes is still insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to derive the process risks affecting the safety of workers based on the survey results of asbestos dismantling companies, and further proposed a cost calculation model taking those risks into account.

The proposed conceptual framework is based in the relationships among knowledge of personal information security, trust on the personal information security policies of parcel delivery service companies, privacy concern, trust in and risk of parcel delivery services, and user satisfaction with parcel delivery services. Drawing upon both cognitive theory of emotion and cognitive emotion theory that complement each other, we propose a research model and examine the relationships between cognitive and emotional factors and the usage of parcel delivery services. The proposed model is validated using data from customers who have previously used parcel delivery services. The results show a significant relationship between the cognitive and affective factors and the usage of parcel delivery services. This study enhances our understanding of parcel delivery services based on the consumers' psychological processes and presents useful implications on the importance of privacy and security in these services.

Currently, various research institutes in Korea are conducting research to develop a safety case for deep geological repository for high-level radioactive waste (HLW). In the past, low and intermediate-level waste (LILW) was approved by a regulatory body by performing a post-closure safety assessment, but HLW has different disposal characteristics and safety objectives are different. Therefore, in the case of HLW, safety assessment should be performed based on these changed conditions, and specific procedures are also under development. In this paper, the regulatory status of prior research institutes, feature, event and process (FEP) and scenario development cases were investigated for well-organized FEP and scenario development methodologies. In addition, through the results of these surveys, the requirements and procedures necessary for the FEP and scenario development stage during the safety assessment of repository for HLW were presented. These review results are expected to be used to identify the overall status of previous studies in conducting post-closure risk assessment for HLW repository, starting with identifying regulatory requirements, the most basic element.

The implementation of Pb-free solder technology is making good progress in electronic industry. Further understanding on fundamental issues on Pb-free solders/processes is required to reduce reliability risk factors of Pb-free solder joints. Several reliability issues including thermal fatigue, impact reliability, IMC growth, spalling, void formation are reviewed for Pb-free solder joints. Several applications of Pb-free technology are discussed, such as Pb-free, CBGA, CuCGA, flip chips, and wafer bumping by IMS.

Most of the sources of security and privacy issues in RFID technology arise from the violation of the air interface between a tag and its reader. This paper will approach the security risk analysis is process from the perspective of the RFID tag life cycle, identify the tag usage processes, identify the associated vulnerability and threat to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets and its implications for privacy, and then mitigate the risks.

It is widely accepted that free-radical induced oxidative damages are involved in pathogenic processes of major diseases including cancer, atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes. A number of epidemiological studies have indicated that frequent consumptions of plant foods rich in antioxidants reduce the risk of developing cancer and cardiovascular diseases, while many intervention trials have failed to prove the protective role of major dietary antioxidants.(omitted)

In this paper we apply the martingale approach, which has been widely used in mathematical finance, to investigate the optimal investment problem for an insurer under the criterion of mean-variance. When the risk and security assets are described by the L$\acute{e}$vy processes, the closed form solutions to the maximization problem are obtained. The mean-variance efficient strategies and frontier are also given.
