GIS를 이용한 토석류 위험성 평가에 관한 연구 (소규모 개발지역 중심으로) (Study on Risk Assesment of Debris Flow using GIS)

  • The relationship between debris flow and topographical factors is essential for the reliable estimation of soil loss. The objective of this paper is to estimate stability index and soil loss for assessing landsliding risk caused by debris flow. SIMAP and RUSLE are used to estimate stability index and soil loss, respectively. The landsliding risk area estimated by using SIMAP is found to be different from the large land area estimated by RUSLE. It is found that the spatial distribution of soil cover significantly influences landsliding risk area. Results also indicate that stability index and soil loss, estimated by soil cover factor, improve the assessment of landsliding risk.

4M 위험성평가 기법을 이용한 앗차사고의 효과적인 발굴기법 (Effective Detection Technique of Near Miss using 4M Risk Assesment Methodology)

  • In this study, a new technique for detecting near miss using 4M risk assessment method is suggested. Until now, the safety education with instances of near miss has just been progressed in most industrial settings, without any systematic guideline. By menas of appling 4M risk assessment method, the organized technique, which could effectively manage the fundamental prevention of industrial accident in advance, is developed. The organized technique of near miss-management suggested in this study will take an effective role in basically expanding the application of risk assessment method, as well as in contributing the activity of zero-accident as a safety guideline in hazardous workshops.

교량 건설공사의 안전관리정보시스템 개발 (Safety Management Information System in Bridges Construction Work)

  • There are insufficient models that find problems and solutions for accident prevention through risk assessment and suggest safe work process and work instruction from foundation works to finish work for accident decrease. This paper presents a quantitative risk assessment model by analysis of risk factors in each process such as foundation, erection, pier, pier upper and etc based on accident examples and investigation on actual condition in bridges construction work. In addition, the safety management system was developed to perform risk assessment of construction and use it for effective safety training for labor.

  • Many firms have applied flexible manufacturing systems as a means of increasing productivity, profitability, and quality. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop the more efficient justification model through an analytical scoring model with the quantitative factors, flexibility factors, and safety factors under uncertainty. In this paper, the three factors for properly comparing and evaluating of flexible manufacturing systems are presented. Especially, this paper has emphasized the flexibility and safety factor; the one consists of organization assessment, process treatment function, products and products quantity, useful life assesment, and software function, the other presents risk assesment, Y2K problem, safety device analysis, total productive management system, safety management. Finally, a normalized scoring model by the new flexibility and safety factors can be used in real fields for flexible manufacturing systems project selection under uncertainty.

  • Recently, the criteria for assessing industrial accidents have been replaced by the mortality rate. It was found that the number of deaths from excavation work was the highest among construction machinery. The risk assessment is being conducted, however the industrial accident mortality rate has not decreased. Accordingly, this study aims to provide the basic for the create of a risk assessment model specialized in construction work at excavator. It provides absolute value from the risk model which is capable of delivery the probability of a disaster. In addition, we provide a relative risk model that compares the risk through scores between detailed works. The relative risk model is combined by likelihood and severity; the likelihood indicates the frequency of accidents and the severity indicates seriousness of fatal accidents. A variable that reflects the conditions of the construction site was added to the risk assessment model based on past disaster cases. And using the concepts of probability and average, the risk assessment process was quantified and used as an objective indicator. Therefore, the model is expected to reduce disasters by raising the awareness of disasters.

  • 본 연구는 석유/화학공장에서의 위험성 평가에 관한 것으로써, 특히 물질과 공정의 위험에 관한 상대적 평가를 수행할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 즉, 물질의 위험과, 공정이 내포하고 있는 위험을 각각 고려하여 이를 종합화하였으며, 최종적으로 화재, 폭발 지수를 산정하였다. 물질계수는 인화성과 반응성으로 산정하였고, 공정 지수는 penalty라 부르는 경험적 수치를 사용하였다. 이 F&EI는 전 공정에 적용하여 위험의 상대적 평가를 실시할 수 있으며 현장에서의 직접 적용도 가능하다.

Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Using the Gail Model: a Turkish Study

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to determine risk of developing of breast cancer among Turkish women. Materials and Methods: Using a descriptive and cross-sectional approach, data were collected from 231 women. Breast cancer risk was calculated using the National Cancer Institute's on-line verson of called as the Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool or the Gail Risk Assesment Tool. Results: The average age of women was $45.0{\pm}8.06$ years. It was revealed that 6.1% of participants reported having first degree relatives who had had breast cancer, with only four women having more than one first-degree relative affected (1.7%). The mean five-year breast cancer risk for all women was $0.88{\pm}0.91%$, and 7.4% of women had a five-year breast cancer risk >1.66% in this study. Mean lifetime breast cancer risk up to age 90 years was $9.3{\pm}5.2%$. Conclusions: The breast cancer risk assessment tool can help in the clinical management of patient seeking advice concerning screening and prevention. Healthcare providers in Turkey can use this approach to estimate an individual's probability of developing breast cancer.

통계자료를 활용한 건설안전 위험도 평가지수 개발 (Development of Risk Assesment Index for Construction Safety Using Statistical Data)

  • 2017년 전체 산업에서 건설업의 재해자와 사망자의 비중은 각각 25.2%, 29.6%로 가장 높은 실정이다. 특히 건축 현장의 안전사고가 지속적으로 증가하고 있어 경제적 손실이 매우 크다. 따라서 본 연구는 건축공사의 안전사고를 예방하기 위하여 공종별 안전위험도 평가지수를 개발하였고, 그 주요 연구결과는 아래와 같다. 첫째, 건축공사 현장의 안전사고와 관련된 위험요인을 설문조사와 면담조사를 통하여 17개 요인을 도출하여, 전문가 자문회의를 걸쳐 9개 항목(공종, 공사종류, 공정율, 계약금액, 층수, 공사기간, 안전교육, 현장근무일수, 날씨)을 제안하였다. 둘째, 건설현장의 안전사고 위험도 평가지수는 안전사고의 발생 비율과 발생강도를 토대로 공종별 평가지수 산정모델을 개발하였다. 셋째, 본 연구는 위험도 평가지수 평가모델을 검증하기 위하여 건설재해사고 통계자료를 조사 및 분석하여, 공종별 건설안전 위험 평가지수를 도출하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 건설안전사고로 인한 인적손해를 사망자와 부상자로 구분하여 위험강도를 산출하였다. 공종별 안전사고 발생빈도와 발생강도에 따른 위험평가지수와 도출된 위험요인은 향후 건설안전 위험도 예측시스템 개발시 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

인공신경망을 활용한 서울시 도시기반시설 침수위험지역 분석 (Analysis of Urban Infrastructure Risk Areas to Flooding using Neural Network in Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 서울시를 대상으로 인공신경망을 활용하여 침수발생가능성과 침수위험지역을 도출하고, 위험지역 내 도시기반시설 현황을 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 강남구, 송파구, 서초구, 서대문구 등에서 침수발생가능성이 높은 위험지역을 많이 포함하고 있었다. 교통시설의 $4.17km^2$이상이 위험지역에 분포하여 우선 관리시설로 나타났고, 강남구 지역은 침수위험이 높은 기반시설을 $0.85km^2$이상 포함하고 있었다. 본 연구는 인공신경망 모델을 침수발생가능성 분석에 활용하여 그 적용가능성을 확인하였으며, 평가결과는 다양한 계획과정에 반영될 수 있을 것이다.
