This paper presents the static characteristics of PMLSM considering the slotting effects of the primary core. To estimate the force ripple, PMLSM is analysed by the theoretical analysis and the F.E.M. The simulation values are compared with experimental ones.

This paper presents characteristics analysis of brushless DC motor(BLDCM) which is driven by four types of PWM mode. The Phase current, radial forte and torque ripples are generated differently at each PWM mode. So they have different influences on motor characteristics. In this paper, we analyzed characteristics of BLDCM using time-stepped voltage source finite element method. The effect of four types of PWM mode had been confirmed by comparing each phase current and torque ripple waveform. The compared simulation result is useful to select a better PWM mode.

Consulting industry is a knowledge intensive business service industry to lead to knowledge creation as well as support high value creation of other industries. While the consulting industry has a great ripple effect on whole industries, there is a lack of interest in the consulting industry. Thus, this study investigates a ripple effect of the consulting service on the national economy using an Input-Output analysis. We summarize some of our findings as follows. First, A production of 1.0 won in the business consulting industry induces production of 0.6933 won in 2005 and 0.7851 in 2009; value-added of 0.2881 won in 2005 and 0.3039 won in 2009. A production of 1.0 billion won in the business consulting industry Industry produces employment for 0.1124 persons in 2005 and 0.1207 persons in 2009. Second, the supply shortage of 1.0 won in the business consulting industry prevents other industries from producing 2.6759 won in 2005 and 3.0145 won in 2009. Third, a 10% increase in the price level of the business consulting industry raises the overall price level from 0.1691% in 2005 to 0.2161% in 2009. The research results show that consulting industry has been increasing a effect on Korea national economy.

This study would analyze the economic impact of the new financial input to the National Assembly FM Radio. Recently, with the 4th industrial revolution and the change in the new media paradigm, there are changes into multi-media and multi-channels, such as mobile, Internet, and OTT, etc. Reflecting these changing internal and external conditions, National Assembly Television, too, should introduce FM radio broadcasting so that the viewers can use the public services without spatial and temporal constraints. Thus, this study would conduct an analysis, estimating the budget required for investing the new government funding in the National Assembly FM Radio. As for the main analysis results, the coefficient of production inducement was 1.661; that of added value, 1.141; and that of employment inducement, 7.1. In the capital district, the effect on production inducement was 6.928 billion won; that on added value inducement, 4.758 billion won; and that on employment inducement, 28.4 persons. In addition, in the whole country, the effect on production inducement was 13.257 billion won; that on added value inducement, 9.106 billion won; and that on employment inducement, 49.7 persons.

School foodservice in the business opportunities could be magnified as the university and the general enterprise as well as elementary, middle, and high school. Therefore school foodservice creates commercially profitable and would go on its investment in social welfare service field as well as create new jobs. By using local food materials, school foodservice has economic effect on the society. This paper examines current state and related cases of school foodservices to discuss ways to vitalize school foodservice system. The study also examines the economic effect on consumers, producers and whole society. Especially, to test a ripple effect on the entire economy, input-output analysis has been used in the study.

The Choijin Lama Temple is a representative example of 19th- to 20th-century architecture. The temple has been damaged by various development pressures and the effect of a harsh continental climate. This study digitalized the entire temple site using three-dimensional scanning to establish the basic data of conservational management and monitoring for spatial changes. A terrestrial laser scanning model of the temple was completed, which showed low registering error vectors (3.73 mm average) and dense point distances. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) photogrammetry was also applied to verify its applicability to the spatial and environmental monitoring of the temple. The results showed that the overall point density of the UAV photogrammetry model is similar within a 10 mm resolution. The relatively low RMSE of UAV photogrammetry from the ground to the uppermost roof indicates the high applicability of integrating it with the terrestrial laser scanning model. The digital documentation of the Choijin Lama Temple is expected to have a great ripple effect on the documentation, conservation, and utilization of Mongolian cultural heritage sites.

In the current condition of seeking eco-friendly development, Green Building Certification Criteria can reduce environment burden that is able to be arose in life cycles of buildings. Moreover, it is a great help to induce to constructing pleasant environment. The ripple effect that also improves saving of energy and resources of the whole country, and green-house gases reduction effect and environment friendliness of other buildings can be expected by promoting eco-friendly education facilities which accounts for a great part of public buildings in comparison with other buildings. In this study, analysis of old and new indicators' contrast and contents in Green Building Certification, and post evaluation of education facilities and interviews on authorities were proceeded for improving evaluation indicator of each item in Green Building Certification Criteria. As a result, it analyzed problems in terms of institution and operations management, and drew implications accordingly. In addition, it has a significance in that it proposes improvements of substantively applicable indicators with high applicability.

This paper analyzes quantitative economic effect of accuracy improvement in location based services. This analysis is motivated from the situation that Korea Communications Commission is preparing the notification for 'location accuracy standard.' The analysis includes three level of impacts. Firm level analyzes the impact on revenue of firms. Social level additionally includes consumers' surplus in LBS industry. Lastly, economywide level includes ripple effects to another industries, which uses input-output analysis. The result of analysis shows that the economic value reaches to considerable amount and cost-benefit ratio is considerably high. The consumers' surplus is much larger than revenue increase. This result supports the intuition that many of location based services are for public interest and that the services have much externalities among firms and consumers. This means that the role of government is very important in the execution of accuracy improvement.

This study is conducted to estimate economic ripple effects of subsidiary services of hospitals. Using the Input/Output Analysis, this study analyzes production inducement effect, added value inducement effect, and labor inducement effect. Also, it assesses potential economic effects of the subsidiary services of which the scope is expanded as the government's proposed in 2014. Data regarding hospital subsidiary services and economic effects are obtained from the hospitals' financial statements on the National Tax Services and the Bank of Korea. The major results of this study are summarized as follows; subsidiary service profits of hospitals are 466 billion won and rent profits of hospitals are 152 billion won. Of these, the rate of subsidiary service profits in tertiary hospitals is about 66% of total subsidiary service profits. Producement inducement effect of subsidiary services of hospitals is higher than that of total industry, service industry and medical service industry. Added value inducement effect of subsidiary services of hospitals is higher than that of total industry, manufacturing industry, service industry and medical service industry. Job position inducement effect of subsidiary service in hospitals is higher than that of total industry, service industry and medical service industry. Also, employment inducement effect of subsidiary service in hospitals is higher than that of total industry and medical service industry. The results may suggest that subsidiary services revenue in medical institutions contribute to improving operating profits. Facing with intense market competition and pressures to control health care costs, hospitals may need to determine whether subsidiary services help boost their profitability and improve customer satisfaction.
