Purpose: This study aimed to identify research trends related to the job competency of paramedics and paramedic students in Korea. It also presents further research directions. Methods: Papers from three databases (RISS, KISS, and DBpia) were reviewed. The keywords were 'paramedi^* and competency,' 'paramedi^* and job competency,' 'paramedi^* and student and competency,' and 'paramedi^* and student and job competency.' No limit was imposed on the research period. Four researchers conducted the inclusion and exclusion processes. Differences in opinion were resolved through sufficient discussion. Results: Twelve studies were selected for review, of which 11 were descriptive survey research studies and 1 was quasi-experimental. Eight studies aimed to determine the current level of competency, and three aimed to identify competency. The remaining study was designed for the development of and application in competency-related programs. The subject of most studies was competency during disasters. Conclusion: Based on these results, future research on paramedic job competency should include a wider variety of methods and subjects.

Cost overruns, schedule delays, and a shortage of skilled labor are common problems the construction industry is currently experiencing. Modularization and standardization strategies have the potential to resolve the various problems mentioned above and have been applied for various construction applications for a long time. However, the level of modularization remains low, and modular construction projects have not been getting the full benefits. Thus, this review investigated the cutting-edge technologies currently being utilized to develop the modular construction field. For this paper, qualified research papers were identified using predetermined keywords from previous related research papers. Identified literature was then filtered and analyzed. According to the included reviews, several technologies are being developed for modular construction. For example, automated design and monitoring systems for modularization were developed. In addition, research labs are utilizing robotic arms for modular construction to achieve a high level of completion in the construction industry, as is seen in the manufacturing industry. Despite these efforts, more research and development are necessary because some automation technologies still require manual activities. Thus, there is great potential for further development of modularization techniques, and further research is recommended to achieve high levels of modularization.

Objectives The purpose of this review is to analyze trends of domestic research in Korean medicine treatment for frozen shoulder. Methods Among the clinical papers published from January 1, 2000 to August 2023, papers that treated frozen shoulders with Korean medicine treatment were searched through five domestic databases (Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System, KMbase, Research Information Sharing Service, Science ON, Korean studies Information Service System). Results Finally, 12 studies were included. Three studies were clinical trials and 9 were observational studies. The most commonly used treatment was acupuncture. Range of movement (range of motion) and visual analogue scale were frequently used as measurement methods. Studies with significant effects were 66.6% in controlled trials and 100% in studies without control group. Conclusions In this study, literature on Korean medicine treatment for frozen shoulder was reviewed. As a result of the review, Korean medicine treatment for frozen shoulder showed significant results. However, there have been several limitations and suggest that more research and higher levels of research on Korean medicine treatment of frozen shoulder need to be conducted.

Purpose - The purpose of this research is to discover whether the presence of the product average rating introduces biases or change the way people perceive information. We posit that review's overall rating has a predisposition effect on consumers' perception towards detailed review information. Research design, data, and methodology - To test these hypotheses, we conducted an empirical study on a real-world setting of online shopping platform. We choose the Amazon website to test our results. The data we use were collected by the Stanford Network Analysis Project1 (McAuley et al., 2013). Results - With a dataset containing reviews of seven product categories from amazon.com., our findings could possess more generalizability as they are produced on the typical and influential online market. Second, as our research provides alternative views of consumers' shopping behavior, it is better to test our hypotheses by data from the same source. Conclusions - Our study reveals the impact of the collective rating presence on consumers' diagnosticity perception and sheds light upon some of the conflictive results in prior studies. Our research generates implications to both theories and business practices, and suggests future directions for the research question.

Song-Gang^® bio-stone (SGS) is a microporous crystalline hydrated aluminosilicate which has found various applications because of their very unique physiochemical characteristics such as ion exchange and absorptive-desorptive properties. Significant progress has been made in recent years on applications of these inorganic adsorbents in different industries including agriculture, aquaculture, water and wastewater treatment. This review article intends to summarize the published reports on the applications of SGS in aquaculture industry. SGS application as a feed additive to enhance fish growth and promote their health and nutritional parameters is the most important discussed areas. According to the technical data that are discussed in this review, SGS should be considered as a material with tremendous potential for application in the aquaculture industry. Considerable amounts of research works are under way to explore other opportunities for application of SGS to benefit aquaculture industry.

International Commerce and Information Review has been playing an important role of disseminating the outstanding research results in the fields such as trade information and systems, e-trade, regional studies, e-commerce, service trade, trade laws since 1999. This paper aims to find the research trends and distinguished characteristics in the field of trade information by analyzing research keywords of the research papers published in this journal using a social network analysis method. Research keyword data collected from the homepage of the academic society were cleaned and transformed into the co-occurrence network data, which are suitable for social network analysis. NodeXL Pro was used to analyze and visualize the pre-processed data. Through clustering analysis, the most important subject fields or interests were identified as well as those which worked as intermediaries for interdisciplinary researches.

With the increased creation, distribution, and use of image in context of the development of digital technologies and internet, research endeavors have accumulated drastically. As two dominant aspects of image retrieval have been considered content-based and concept-based image retrieval, concept-based image retrieval has been focused in the field of Library and Information Science. This study aims to systematically review the accumulated research of image retrieval from the perspective of LIS field. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, two data sets were prepared: a total of 282 image retrieval research papers from Web of Science, and a total of 35 image retrieval research from DBpia in Kore for comparison. For data analysis, systematic review methodology was utilized with bibliographic analysis of individual research papers in the data sets. The findings of this study demonstrated that two sub-areas, image indexing and description and image needs and image behavior, were dominant. Among these sub-areas, the results indicated that there were emerging areas such as collective indexing, image retrieval in terms of multi-language and multi-culture environments, and affective indexing and use. For the user-centered image retrieval research, college and graduate students were found prominent user groups for research while specific user groups such as medical/health related users, artists, and museum users were found considerably. With the comparison with the distribution of sub-areas of image retrieval research in Korea, considerable similarities were found. The findings of this study expect to guide research directions and agenda for future.

Purpose: This study is to investigate the literature on accelerated tests based on the acceleration model and to provide a compilation of results on the parameters applied in the acceleration model and the test conditions. Methods: This research is conducts a literature review on accelerated tests using the acceleration model, with a focus on test targets, test conditions, and parameter values. The study is organizing the results of this literature review to facilitate their application in the design of reliability tests. Results: A literature review investigated a variety of test targets, test conditions, and parameter values. Conclusion: The results of the literature research conducted revealed various acceleration model parameter. Such literature research on accelerated tests can establish the foundation for reliability test design and contribute to future product development and quality improvement

Purpose: The concept of News-finds-me Perception (NFMP) is gaining increasing scholarly interest due to its wide-ranging findings and implications in digital communications and marketing. From the retail marketing and communication approaches, social media is an effective tool to effectively communicate and persuade customers and stakeholders. Nevertheless, a scarcity of systematic review studies that systematically assemble prior research in the field is recognized. Consequently, this research investigated the Scopus database for articles pertaining to NFMP. Research design, data and methodology: The search was conducted on August 24, 2023, retrieving 46 documents. Following a data-cleaning process, 31 documents remained, providing evidence of the subject area's five-year development. The data was refined with OpenRefine and analyzed with VosViewer. Results: An overview of the subject's expansion is presented, which comprises the most cited documents, authors, organizations, journals, and countries. Furthermore, the investigation examines the influential studies that furnished scientists with essential knowledge and identify the current research trend of the research subject. Conclusions: Based on the results, the study proposes theoretical and practical implications, encouraging academics to further integrate the concept with various communication and marketing theories, as well as the retail marketing context, to gain a better understanding of its complex impacts.

This paper provides a review of research in the area of child(hood) sexual abuse. Particularly, the paper focuses on understanding the direction of research trends in Korea on this topic by evaluating the methodological changes, diversity of topics, and factors associated with research participants. The systemic, comprehensive review includes 28 articles in 14 primary Korean Journals and 261 articles in "Child Abuse and Neglect" and "Child Maltreatment" published from 2000 to 2008. Foci of the reviewing process were; (1) Do the transition of research methods follow scientific saturation? (2) What are the main subject areas of the field? (3)Who are the research participants and from where were they recruited? The review finds that overall, the number of CSA studies fluctuated in early 2000, but remained stable which means that academic interests have remained along with the social concern. The Korean CSA studies are imbalanced in terms of scientific saturation. Studies with theoretical methods are short in numbers, but there is a rapidly growing number of research using qualitative approaches. The review also highlights that most quantitative research utilized cross-sectional survey methodology. The major research themes that were most frequently found were studies on factors associated with CSA and evaluation of treatment modalities. However, research on perpetrators and measurement scale development were rather rare. In the CA&N and CM articles, study participants are frequently recruited from mental health clinics or related social agencies. Korean samples usually come from schools than communities and young children and their mothers seem to be excessively represented. Balanced research efforts are strongly suggested.
